PLUS this whole idea of trying to spot people faking tends to make actually mentally ill people think they’re faking and not seek help because they feel like they don’t deserve it. So just, like, don’t lmao

segregating who is deserving of mental health support by who’s actually unwell and who’s faking will never work. Either we all get help, or none of us do. You do not get to decide who is and isn’t lying about their symptoms, especially if you’re just some rando online. Fakeclaiming does not help ‘real’ systems or ‘real’ autistics or ‘real’ borderlines or ‘real’ mentally ill people. Fakeclaiming does nothing but harm everyone who is ill. Physically or mentally.
