If we’re talking about parallels, can we talk about Alice Dyer and Georgie Barker who both happily embraced reconnecting with their ex-boyfriend from University in their time of need and wanted to be friends again to the point of welcoming them into personal parts of their life (staying at Georgie’s home/ Working in a very small staff at Alice’s weird job) but are both so upset that their stupid ex doesn’t know what’s good for him and keeps pressing forward into more and more dangerous situations despite Georgie/Alice’s warnings that this causes strain on their friendship?

While separating relationships into strictly sexual, platonic, or romantic or some combination of those is fine for understanding the aromantic and asexual spectrum at a basic level, we must eventually understand that some relationships will never fit into these categories and often queer relationships are more complex than that, and our definition of queer relationships must include abstract relationships.

I was scrolling around on this goddamn hellsite wondering to myself "a lottt of people seem to be talking about the mechanisms alongside the magnus archives, huh. wonder what those have in common"

I thought we had just decided those two things were inextricably linked for some unknowable reason
