Israel is now carrying out another massive terrorist attack in Lebanon. Similar to the pager attack yesterday, Israel is targeting electronic devices and making them explode all over the country:
Reuters news agency reported, citing both a security source and an eyewitness, that the devices involved in Wednesdayβs explosions were portable radios, unlike the pagers that were attacked the previous day. Al-Mayadeen reported that the devices, apparently ICOM V82s, detonated, and βdue to the devices containing highly flammable lithium batteries, the explosions were severe.β βThe explosions caused massive fires in cars, motorcycles, apartments, and stores all over Lebanon,β the report added.
Several residential buildings and shops are on fire. Nine people have been killed so far, and hundreds more are wounded.

People with family in Lebanon are now receiving texts and calls from their loved ones telling them not to worry if they don't hear from them for a few days, as they're scared their phones might be rigged with explosives.
What do you call this, if not terrorism?
fanart for The Narcissist Cookbook (specifically for the song Human Design, an absolute banger)
(Also the skull anatomy is most definitely inaccurate, but I think I captured the vibe I wanted to)

Embrace the Rot by Endless Taverns is so Corruption coded it's not even funny, Jane Prentiss's worms would be jammin' so hard
So Iβm a film student, and am really interested in making a documentary about being aromantic/ arospec and our experiences, and would really appreciate some responses about the sort of thing that would be liked to be topics of conversations and questions or any insight about what I could include and what youβd like to see come out of a documentary about aro experiences? Any response or feedback is welcome and appreciated π
While separating relationships into strictly sexual, platonic, or romantic or some combination of those is fine for understanding the aromantic and asexual spectrum at a basic level, we must eventually understand that some relationships will never fit into these categories and often queer relationships are more complex than that, and our definition of queer relationships must include abstract relationships.

jonny sims come outside. i just need a word. no i donβt have a baseball bat i just want to talk about how horror and tragedy are different genres. just a conversation jonny sims

i don't forgive you. but thank you for this

listening to horror podcasts is so silly because ill be having the worst day of my goddamn life and ill be like.. you know what i need? to listen to this sad wet cat british man have an even worse day and ya know what it actually helps

If weβre talking about parallels, can we talk about Alice Dyer and Georgie Barker who both happily embraced reconnecting with their ex-boyfriend from University in their time of need and wanted to be friends again to the point of welcoming them into personal parts of their life (staying at Georgieβs home/ Working in a very small staff at Aliceβs weird job) but are both so upset that their stupid ex doesnβt know whatβs good for him and keeps pressing forward into more and more dangerous situations despite Georgie/Aliceβs warnings that this causes strain on their friendship?
yes, yes he would. and I hate it
i hate jon elias but. do you guys think elias would call jon his Magnus Opus?
I just re-listened to the episodes where Jon learns the truth about NotSasha. I got chills when he compares the tapes of Sashaβs and NotSashaβs voices.
Then he turns around and is like, βTim and Martin Iβm sick so you should go homeβ like ??? Bruh
And then, the ever iconic, βit is remarkably easy to buy an axe in Central London.β
Oh Jon, you wet cat of a man
abso-fucking-lutely I love this
Funny. βCanaries should stay above groundβ the statement that I feel like stuck in most peopleβs heads really enwraps Samβs mistake. Funny that he didnβt listen to that first statement, that his downfall happened both times he entered spooky basements. The archivist and the betrayal of Celia both taking place underground.
Itβs one of those statements that ring around peoples head, not exactly in the fear way but it has the same impact that βthe blanket never did anythingβ feels to me
what do you MEAN they FUCKING MISSED???
no no I agree
there's some tracks from fever dream that I really like, but idk I just love the bastards so much moree (and bbr side b is also up there for me)

How the actual fuck am I only just now figuring out that Johnny Sims is/was *in* The Mechanisms
I was scrolling around on this goddamn hellsite wondering to myself "a lottt of people seem to be talking about the mechanisms alongside the magnus archives, huh. wonder what those have in common"
I thought we had just decided those two things were inextricably linked for some unknowable reason
Anyway, that's sick, I'll have to check out their discography now

in the eye of the beholder π
absolutely I agree
hot take apparently but i think it's good for white people to relate to poc's art. i think it's good for straight people to relate to queer art. stop acting like we're different species who could never possibly understand each other what the fuck is wrong with you
Sam 20 minutes before he gets thrown into a post apocalyptic world :

yup. that about sums it up
so. to summarise that episode. uhm. colins probably dead. freddys fucked. lenas left. gwen has lenas job now. the rift was pulling celia. celia kinda manipulated sam to ultimately throw him in the rift. the archivist was there. but also went through the rift. sams essentially schrΓΆdingers cat???? all the while gwen, was just drinking in lenas office. the oiars total number of staff has just been halved. oh and a guy turned into concrete??? honestly not bad for a finale it would he worse (worms)

the gentleness of jon's answer & how this small exchange mirrors their relationship in season four
