Quick question tho, does anyone else hate that they’re called whumpees/whumpers?? Like I’m reading some whump inspo and it’s all dark and angsty and there’s the word whumpee in it and I can no longer take it seriously…
Just me? Okay.
dystopian writers: “what if… everything sucked, but, like, more than it already does?
Hot blood dribbling over whumpee's lower lip as they lay belly down on the ground, bruised and beaten.
Whumpee spitting blood and forcing themselves up on shaking hands and knees until they stand, swaying on their feet, vision swimming.
Ideas 3
Suicide
Whumpee originally thought whumper would kill them, now they realize that death would be a mercy.
Perhaps they are able to position their restraints to make a noose
Bang their head against a wall until they bleed out
Pretend to eat the food whumper gives, or don't drink any water or something like that
Talk defiantly, baring the pain so one day Whumper might push just too far, in response
Whumper shows them true strangulation, making sure they never attempt to do it to themselves agin
Whumper beats them slowly with a whip, letting them bleed out, and then bringing them back
Feeding tubs, forced starvation, there is a way to keep you alive without feeding your stomach
Bringing in loved ones, if whumpee has no regard for their own life, perhaps the life of another is more importation
whumpee can't even tell if whumper has drugged them or if the constant, intense torture has just pushed their mind too far that nothing seems real.
they hear screams that they can only assume are theirs. they see blood, too much blood. their body is wracked with sensations, but they're too detatched to process it as pain. or as their own.
and when a flood of strangers enter the room, with noise and lights, and lift whumpee's broken body onto a stretcher, whumpee assumes that it has to be a hallucination their dying mind created.
