Rewatching the 1939 Gulliver’s Travels movie and one of my favourite aspects about it is just how gentle Gulliver is. He’s probably one of the best examples of my favourite trope.

He’s always interacting with the Lilliputians and from the beginning he’s so careful when picking up Gabby to look at him. Even at the end, where he’s scooping the ones who fall overboard back onto the ship, gentle even after they were attacking him.

I love this damn movie.

Was up late playing Undertale and am now waist-deep in a new WIP (not Undertale related, for the record). Such are the hazards of being a writer.

I find it both funny and disappointing when I look through the g/t tag on ao3 and see a fic that I think is a new addition only to realise I either: already read it or I wrote it.
