To whoever is commenting on all my fics as ‘MegatronFucker’, I hope you’re happy living rent free in my head. This has haunted me and my friend group all day and I have never been so pleased yet vaguely threatened by a commenter before.

Re: my last reblog. Never mind- I forgot how cringe the stuff I used to write is. Just went to read some I posted on Wattpad a few years ago and nearly broke my jaw cringing.

I know it needed to exist for my writing to progress but it is so bad.

Another thing I like in g/t is when the giant is just a guy. No using his size to assert control over others, no dominance bs, just... A guy. Chilling.

Yeah, he might be over 100ft tall capable of destroying countless civilizations under his feet, but dude is having none of it, really. He's not interested in that power fantasy, just wants to hang out and chat, make some friends maybe.

Rewatching the 1939 Gulliver’s Travels movie and one of my favourite aspects about it is just how gentle Gulliver is. He’s probably one of the best examples of my favourite trope.

He’s always interacting with the Lilliputians and from the beginning he’s so careful when picking up Gabby to look at him. Even at the end, where he’s scooping the ones who fall overboard back onto the ship, gentle even after they were attacking him.

I love this damn movie.
