Headcanon that since Jason can’t go out with his family publicly, what he does instead is show up in random disguises.

Bruce is chatting up some socialites at a gala, talking about the joys of fatherhood and how rewarding it is. Meanwhile he made eye contact with Jason disguised as a waiter twenty minutes ago, and is currently trying to stop his eye from twitching.

Dick is speaking to a third grade class as a part of the Bludhaven Police department outreach program, except when he walks in Jason is sitting behind the teachers desk, playing the role of substitute.

Babs can’t help but stare when Jason hands her a coffee from behind the counter of her favorite coffee shop. (His name tag reads Peter, and for a second she thinks she’s actually lost it).

Tim walks into Wayne Towers one day and on his way in, he waves to his secretary- lo and behold Marjorie has been replaced by Jason. It takes him three hours to notice.

Cass walks into ballet class to discover her teacher had to take a sick day- his replacement is Jason in a beret who talks in a terrible French accent the entire class, only to drop it at the very end to talk in a thick New Jersey accent. Her entire class talks about it for weeks.

habits other robins got from Jason

Dick- the way he sorts his books, while he doesnt have many in his apartment, Jason sorted them when he came over when he was younger and Dick has always kept them like that.

Tim- he organizes his thoughts when he writes them down the same way Jason did in reports, he even writes some letters like Jason did.

Steph- continuously blows bubbles when chewing gum. She saw Jason doing it a couple times in an attempt to annoy someone around him and she thought it was a great idea.

Damian- sorts his food on his plate and eats it in the same order as Jason does, it just seemed easier that way.

nope. bruce almost has a heart attack when his barely adult son walks up to a group of older men, places a gentle hand on one of their arms, and starts giggling. his barely legal son is leaning into these men, tilting his head and baring his neck just so, and putting on the most enticing smile. HIS CHILD is subtly sticking his hips out, pouting his lips, and leaning close to whisper who knows what into the ears of these leering grown men.

dick and tim do a double take when they see jason "clumsily" spill whine down the front of his suit and then begin unbuttoning his top with a ditzy, tipsy giggle of "oh no! :( would you handsome fellas mind helping me out?"

by the end of the night, jason has bruce sitting down with his head in his hands and contemplating everything.

that being said i had a speech impediment when i was younger because my older brother did and i copied how he spoke and then my younger brother had one because he copied me

sooooo what im thinking is Jason copying how Dick speaks so much when he was younger that he gains a little of Dicks accent then Tim copying him because thats the accent the 2 previous robins had etc continues down the line and theres a like distinct robin voice

Jason who as a robin did everything to be like Dick and can still fight in his style and often will switch to it if he gets into particularly tight situations.

Jason and Dick who are like Bruce's twin children despite their age gap.

Jason who copied Dick so much as a child that they have many of the same habits, you can hear Dick's accent affecting Jason's accent when they talk to each other.

Dick who organizes things the way Jason does because Jason would help him clean his room sometimes and it stuck.

some of the habits different robins didnt realize came from Dick:

-Jason has kept the same stretching routine this whole time, even Dick has changed his, but Jason does the one that dick used to do in preparation for his circus act.

-When Tim taps his feet while writing out a report, he always taps out the same rhythm, the same one Dick used to do when he had to sit for long periods of time.

-Everytime Steph ties up her hair she uses a blue hair tie, they were the only ones around in the batcave when she needed one and then it became tradition for her. Dick used blue ones when he had longer hair because its his favorite color.

-Damian always rolls his right shoulder when hes standing around, he doesn't know why he does it or even notices that he does it. Dick injured his right shoulder years ago and it always needs to be stretched out or it gets stiff.
