I think best scooby doo designs are those that are the closest to the originals we know and love. Not because of some sort of misplaced nostalgia, but it's just really funny when as time in the real world marches on, there is a group of young people (who nowadays would probably count as gen z, even) who just deliberately choose to dress and make up their hair exclusively in the style of fashion from the late 1960s/early 1970s
