HP House Pairings (opinion)

I'd like to think grown-up Harry Potter is a Hufflepuff. I say this because I'd imagine you'd mellow out as you grew older, dying when you're content (i genuinely don't remember what happened in the end, although im pretty sure he married Ginny and had kids, naming them after the dead). And so he'd not be so reckless and brash anymore (I mean he could be as an auror, but when he grows into an elder and retires he'd mellow out), although he technically would still have his whole 'saving people' thing, but I imagine if he's content in an apple pie life, even after having been groomed to be this whole child soldier, ready to die, then I'd think yeah, he's not so reckless anymore. It doesn't necessarily mean he isn't that brave, but I think one of his strongest traits that came out of that content-ness, that peacefulness would be loyalty. Loyalty to his friends, and loyalty to his family. They're seriously underrated. Note that Gryffindor's are seen as loyal too, alongside brave. And the Gryffindor's colors can also be yellow too. Well they're more 'gold' but that's yellow! While yeahh Gryffindor and Slytherin would probably pair well (if they could get along. it's probably a 'best ally, worst enemy' case) In my opinion, I think Gryffindor and Hufflepuff (similar qualities) would go hand-in-hand, and similarly, Slytherin and Ravenclaw (resourcefulness, ambition, knowledge) would go hand-in-hand too.

Although I understand diversifying your friend group, and therefore having other friends who aren't as similar to the general loyalty and bravery crew, but with geniuses, maybe introverted, and ambitious yet not so loud people (every big businessman would do well with a loyal lackey. that's what you gotta look for in life for minions, and friends too, knowing that you don't have to watch your back all the time) and that's why classes are kinda partnered that way, that I can understand. And I can see Ravenclaw and Hufflepuff pairings too. (Look. The thought of a loyal badger hanging around everyday, making conversation with a shy Ravenclaw is adorable. Introvert and extrovert pairings.) But Gryffindor and Slytherin pairings are overrated. It's not that I hate it but Ravenclaw and Hufflepuff always get overshadowed. Also this is not me saying that Ravenclaws are always shy. They could be snippy and bratty or something, obsessive and possessive over their books or any form of knowledge, and could be hugely extroverted and willing to talk with anyone. It's just the general idea and examples to explain why I think a pairing would do well.

School stuff (writing ideas)

i have memories of back in elementary school and the teacher gave us like these papers that we'd fill out about ourselves. basically to introduce ourselves and i remember asking what a nickname was, and she said stuff like what other people call you, and specifically using something like, what your parents call you and i was obsessed with frozen so i put like baby elsa lMFAO (Im embarrassed) but like.. if thats a thing what if. Harry Potter just went to school, teacher did the paper thing (and could go on to say it could be what his relatives call him), and the nickname thing is just like. boy (changed when teacher corrects him that its not a nickname to freak or something likely.) and the teachers just like '....??'' id hope that there'd be hints sprinkled in his work that makes it clear that his family isnt that good because DUDE. children blurt out stuff truthfully, theyre much more truthful then adults half the time i remember an episode of Supernatural too where Sam had written about a case with a werewolf and the teachers just like 'thats a nice story...'

so i mean if you know what to look for there has to be hints and it still feels absurd that nobody noticed how wrongfully treated harry was and thought he was like a delinquent, but i also kinda understand because biases biases, agshh.

circle box, circle pizza, triangle slices

(this is because a friend of mine asked a question of: why are pizza boxes square, but pizza is circle, and slices are triangle? and now im sharing it with you)

id imagine opening a circle box would be harder because there technically arent any corners to latch.. like the the thing that keep pizza boxes closed, or maybe im thinking about it wrong, and its just easier to cut a square then like a perfect circle for a box, and probably easier to hold too, at least in my opinion. also easily stackable. i dont know i get satisfaction out of stacking squares, but not the same for stacking circles pizzas are circles because of probably convenience because people mold the dough into a ball and then spread it outward, and to make it into a square would likely mean to cut off excess. its also easier to mold it into a ball though then anything else without having to use like any other external tools, like one of those molds that cut shapes and then pizza slices are triangles likely because you can get more slices out of it. Like, you get a circle. Cut it into four and you get a big triangle, and then people do more cuts in the middle to get more triangles, and also im pretty sure its how you calculate pi, it was something about a circle and cutting it into so many pieces, you count them individually and then get pi or something like that. i dont remember tl;dr convenience, basically.

also also add-on if the boxes were circle youd assume that the pizza would be molded to fit the box, but what if its too big? you couldnt just get another box, so it gives some freedom to have some room for error probably

basically take my summary if you arent bothered enough to read all 4 chapters but are willing to read my long paragraphs

that story i think meant nothing i read through it all its about a mug of cheese- basically theres this mouse who was named vermin of the year so he had to get some cheese and when he tried to get some he was trying to get past this plank but it rained so it was wet and heavy and it crushed him to death this caused a stench to flow through the castle and the county which led to rita's (who ran a tavern for the knights) husband to die she was working on a new drink or something i think with cheese so she went to the cheese shop to buy cheese (text states not to question the plot hole of why the mouse didnt go to the shop instead) and bought a lot so she put it in a sack (but accidentally grabbed some things that were not hers, like the cat, the owner's cash box, AND the mug of cheese) The mug of cheese was there because when he set off on his journey he ran into a witch who was committing a crime by eating cake too early in the morning but then she offered to make him scones, and no mug of cheese would refuse, so he said yes. Unluckily, the witch bumped into something and a vial of cursed liquid went into the scone, cursing him into a deep sleep. Eventually the witch left to do work in town and the elves took over the house which overgrown with vines the owner of the cheese shop found the mug of cheese one day and put him on the shelf where he still slept so then Rita was leaving to get back to the castle but people were working on replacing the path with stone which would take years, so she took a detour and there was a sign that told her to go the other way but no one can read so she went right, right into a forest of dangers with Bernard who eats human flesh

Bernard pretends that he changed and doesnt eat humans, which Rita lectured him and was gonna leave if Bernard didnt do anything so Bernard said he would Rita in her panic hit Bernard with the heavy sack of cheese, knocking out all of his teeth and even his eyes. Then the mug of cheese, Riktor the Cracked had a glorious crack on his mug, which completed his adventuring mission despite not really doing anything besides being in the right place at the right time. Somewhere else there's this person called Evil in a cave where the awful stench of the dead mouse makes it way up to them and tales of the Infamous Evil spreads through town the story ends theres one part though that might be helpful "Be we cracked, or small, or even dead, there's always a purpose to where we all led. Be brave, and strong, and lest we forget; Fate isn't quite done with any of us just yet."
