Hi! Can I please request a poly!mauraders or poly!wolfstar (whatever you prefer I don't mind!) where the fem!reader is a seer and she just randomly had a vision in the future where they live a happy domestic life (with kids) and she got so flustered and the boys find it adorable and maybe tease her playfully about it?
I absolutely love your blog and writing I get so happy when you postđ đ Have a good day!
okay, honestly? I never imagined even writing about a Seer character nor liking it this much!! when my requests open up again you guys are going to have to request more of this kind of character, I'm obsessed. Thank you for the love, dolly!!!
~please note: my requests are currently closed as I work through older ones~
poly!marauders x fem!reader who is a Seer
CW: mentions of children and pregnancy
You stirred the honey into your tea for far longer than was strictly necessary as you replayed your latest Sight through your head.
Life hadnât always been easy being a Seer â even worse having come from a muggle family who took your specific gift to be a sure sign of the devil. Thankfully, things started to make a little more sense (at least for yourself) when you received your Hogwarts acceptance letter at eleven.Â
However, it appeared that the ability of Sight was not easily accepted in the wizarding world either.
You were fortunate enough to See that youâd eventually meet someone who understood what it was like to be shunned by the very world who created you; and with that boy would come two others who would become some of the most important figures in your life. Â
Of course, futures can always change and nothing is ever set in stone; people change their minds all of the time and set out a different course of action. Understanding this doesnât always make the Sightâs any less jarring, however.Â
You really shouldnât be as shaken up about your Sight as you currently were, seeing as there have been times youâve literally Seen death, violence, and accidents. This Sight, for all intents and purposes, was really rather sweet.

âHey, hey! Hang on. Weâre gonna let mummy rest, okay?â You heard Remus whisper just outside the door to your bedroom. Though his words were chiding, you could hear the smile laced into his tone.
âBut I wanna give her a hug!â A little voice whined in protest.
Remus chuckled and you heard him press a kiss â you could only imagine it was to the childâs hair.
âYou guys can come in, Moons.â You called; voice rough from disuse as you sat up in bed. Seemingly on their own volition, your hands migrated to rest protectively over your ever-growing bump.
âMama!â A little voice squealed as they launched themselves up onto the bed and crawled their way over to you.
âDid I hear you giving your Da a hard time out there?â You teasingly chided, but you couldnât help the beaming smile you shot at your little black haired, grey eyed child.Â
âI only wanted to give Mama a hug.â They pouted, shooting you puppy dog eyes you knew they could have only learned from the likes of James Potter.
âOof, cariad; youâve been spending too much time with Daddy it appears.â Remus commented, clearly agreeing with your internal dialogue.
âHave not!â The child shouted as James appeared and leaned against the door frame muttering âI resent that.â
âWell? Can I have my hug then, sweetheart?â You asked, to which the child all too willingly obliged, launching themselves at your torso.
âOi! Easy there little lion; youâre squishing your little brother or sister there!â Remus scolded, gently pulling the child off your form.
âSorry baby.â The child apologized quickly, planting a conciliatory kiss to your bump before leaping from the bed and careening out of the room.
âI canât believe weâre going to have two of those, soon.â Remus commented as he watched the child disappear from his sight.
âYou better hope the next oneâs yours, Moons.â James chuckled as he pat Remusâ bum before making his way to your bedside to press a kiss into your hair.Â
âWhy me?â Remus asked through a laugh.
âWell, weâve got a Sirius carbon copy, and if the very next one is a mini-James!? You might as well check us all into the Janus Thickey Ward at St. Mungoâs right now.â
âYou donât want a little mini-Prongs running around?â Remus asked with a cheeky smile as he stepped up behind James and wrapped his arms around his middle, nuzzling into his neck.
âOh, Iâd love a mini-Prongs. But Iâd also love a mini-Moony.â James admitted, and even though he was blushing he beamed a proud smile.
âAny child that comes from our sweet, beautiful wife will be perfect.â Sirius commented from the door, his little doppelgänger propped up on his hip looking very odd in all their colours and general toddler mess against Sirius who was still in his smart work attire.Â

So, you see? It really was a lovely Sight. But you couldnât seem to shake the overwhelming anxiety that had settled into the pit of your stomach.Â
Marriage? Children!?
Pardon the pun but you truly did not see that coming.Â
You knew James loved kids and loved the idea of having a family of his own one day, but he was also so incredibly happy with the partners he found in the three of you that he would have been happy either way.
Sirius was always staunchly against children. âThis line of assholes needs to end.â Heâd say. And when James asked if Sirius would be able to love a child if it wasnât a Black biologically, he hesitated and said, âIâm worried Iâll be like my dad.â
And Remus; sweet, sensitive Remus seemed so heartbroken to admit that he âdidnât want to curse a child to a life with a werewolf for a fatherâ.
You hadnât ever really minded too much either way. And so, you figured that was that; the four of you just wouldnât have kids.
âWhatâs that look for dollface?â Sirius commented as he popped a piece of bacon into his mouth.
âHm?â You asked, startled out of your reverie.
âYouâve been stirring your tea for ages, dove. Iâm sure itâs likely cold by now.â Remus explained, gently shaking your shoulder as he walked behind you to retrieve the toast that just popped.
âOh.â You said dumbly, bringing the cup to your lips and sipping from your now lukewarm tea.
âI think someone Saw something and isnât telling her boyfriends.â James sing-songed from his place across from you, correctly noticing your tells and causing you to scowl.
âThe audacity.â Sirius squawked, clutching at his non-existent pearls.Â
Remus, always much more understanding and empathetic to your strife than the other two, bent over your chair and hugged you from behind. âIs everything okay, dovey?â He murmured against your chin.
You let out a breath and hummed in the affirmative. âIs everyone okay?â He asked again.
âYeah, no. Everyone was safe and happy. Weâre okay.â You assured him, not wanting to cause any undue worry for your werewolf boyfriend. His biggest fear was that one day you would See him â The Wolf â hurting someone, hurting them.Â
âWait!â James shouted as he slammed his cup down a little too roughly, causing his plate and silverware to rattle. âWe didnât break up, did we!?â
âNo!â You shouted back, laughing at the boyâs antics. âJamie, honest. Everything was fine, things were good.â
âWell, you donât sound convinced.â James countered.
âIf it was fine and things were good, why wonât you tell us?â Sirius argued. His teasing smile fell when your eyes filled with tears, and you looked down to your lap.
âWhoa, hey.â Sirius commented, pulling his chair over so his knees knocked against yours as he turned your chair to face him. âIâm sorry, dolly. Whatâs up, hm? What happened?â
You laughed miserably at yourself as you wiped tears from your eyes. âIt was fine! Honest, I donât know why Iâm like this.â
James groaned as if seeing you upset was causing him physical pain. âWhat did you See, angel. Please.â He practically begged.
You shook your head in exasperation and tried to sober up your emotions. âWe were married with a child, another on the way.â
The only sound in the room was the ticking of the clock on the wall; you had literally sucked the air right out of the room (and apparently from your boyfriendsâ lungs).Â
âMarried?â James whispered in awe.
âWith children?â Sirius added dumbfoundedly.
You let out a humourless chuckle and stood from your seat, gathering your plate and cup to bring to the sink. You stepped around Remus who seemed to be frozen in shock.Â
âSit down, Moony.â You ordered gently after you disposed of your plate, moving to guide him by his shoulders to your since vacated spot when he turned on you.
âWas it the child!?â He asked urgently, eyes wild with fear.
âWhat?â
âIs the child okay? Did something happen to them!? Were they hurt?â He pressed. 'Did I hurt them?' went unsaid but was heard loud and clear.
âThey were fine. They were happy, loved.â You said gently.
He seemed to relax and allowed you to guide him to the table.
âI donât understand, then.â James admitted, taking one of Remusâ hands in his. âWhy didnât you want to tell us?â
You felt your eyebrows furrow as you considered him. âI just...sort of thought that was out of the question for us, you know?â
âDo you not want to have kids with us?â Sirius asked, suddenly sounding far more fragile than you ever remember.
âWhat? I... thatâs not it at all! I was under the impression you didnât want kids.â You accused.
Siriusâ head moved back and forth in a âso-soâ gesture as he looked to Remus and James. âIâd have your kids.â
You shook your head in confusion. âWhat!?â
âWell...I love all of you, and you would all make wonderful children. Iâd...Iâd have your children.â He clarified.
Not at all helpful when the child was clearly his.
âIt was mine, wasnât it?â Sirius asked at your silence. You nodded your head yes. âWas I... was I nice to them?â
You couldnât help but smile, both at the vulnerability of Sirius in this moment and at the memory itself.
âYes, you were. They were very loved, clearly.â
Sirius smiled at that.
âIt was mostly Moony-centric though.â You added.
Remus turned to you quickly at that. âMe?â He asked breathlessly, eyes red rimmed.Â
You hummed in agreement. âYou were trying to convince them to let me sleep. They got their way in the end.â
James scoffed. âTypical Moony â total pushover.â
Remus turned to him with a bemused smile. âThatâs not fair, you are far more of a pushover than me.â
âThey were using Jamieâs puppy dog eyes, Rem. You canât be held accountable.â You joked.Â
All three men turned to look at you then, determination painting their features.
âI want to see.â Sirius demanded.
âIâll go get the pensieve!â James called as he took off out of the room.Â
Remus couldnât seem to control himself any longer and roughly pulled you into his lap. âDid you make me a dad?â he murmured into the side of your head.
Your cheeks burned furiously at the insinuation. âI believe the correct term was âDaâ.â
âHURRY UP PRONGS!â Remus hollered over your head, clearly excited to see what you had seen.
âI canât believe you werenât going to tell me I was a father, Y/N.â Sirius jokingly chided, pinching your thigh in reprimand. Remus quickly shifted you onto his other thigh and away from Siriusâ fingers.
âOi! Be nice to our darlinâ girl, Pads. She gives you children.â Remus spat. Sirius seemed to melt slightly at that.
The all pulled out of the pensieve at the same time a little breathless and spun quickly to look at you.
âDovey!â Remus shouted.
âYou looked fuckinâ amazing! Like a goddess.â James cheered, moving to pick you up out of your seat on the sofa and maneuver you onto his lap.
âI love them so much.â Remus murmured staring at nothing in particular. âOh my gods, I think...I think I have my mumâs old knitting magazines. We should knit them some little booties.â But the rest of Remusâ ramblings were cut off as he walked down the hall to look for said magazines.Â
âWe donât have kids yet, please donât take up knitting!â You shouted after him, but James kept you planted in his lap.
âIâm really a dad?â Sirius asked in disbelief, a shocked smile playing at the corners of his lips.Â
âA hot one too.â James said with a wink. The flirting seemed to shake him from his thoughts as he turned a cheeky smirk in Jamesâ direction.
âWell obviously babes, that was never up for debate.â
âI found them!â you heard Remus call, his voice muffled from no doubt deep within the crawlspace under the stairs.
âOh gods. Iâm going to have more of you all to look after.â You groaned miserably, falling limp out of Jamesâ lap as he and Sirius gasped in faux outrage and attacked you with tickles and kisses to âtake it back!â

Hii! Iâm the anon who requested the Remus with the heightened senses thing. I have another significantly LONGER one. I apologise in advance.
Going to the forest during the full moon becayse you donât know that Remus Lupin is a werewolf, but then you see his post-transformation, scarred, bruised, blooded and whimpering form on the ground, surrounded by Sirius, James and Peter. You canât help yourself from pulling him away from them and into your arms, cuddling him and petting his hair, fully believing that it was them who hurt him.
Eventually; they convince you to let them take Remus to the hospital wing, that theyâll explain when you get there, and you agree. So long as you can hold Remusâs waist, to make sure your culprits donât hurt him. When you get to the hospital wing, youâre so incredibly clingy with Remus, even when he wakes up. the boys explain his lycanthropy, and Remus is convinced you wonât love him anymore. Quite the opposite. Heâs just earned himself a few more weeks of tireless protective clinginess.
Miscommunication

⧠MARAUDERS MASTERLISTâ§

The Forbidden Forest was not somewhere you wanted to be. Especially at night. The trees were uncomfortably large with claw-like branches, and the thicket made it disorientating to navigate through the maze of trees. The moon was big and bright, and would normally have illuminated the forest ground, but the trees and the mist allowed no luxury of light. You didnât want to be there, not in the slightest, in fact the chances of getting a detention for being out here were extremely high, but you were following Remus.Â
At the end of each month you would hear the door to the dormitories creak open. It was followed by the patter of footsteps and hushed whispers. But there was no one to be seen. They took their leave with James cloak, though they needed to work on their subtlety. The thing was, despite the noise they made as they crept down the stairs, as soon as they entered the common room, they fell silent and vanished out of the portrait and through the castle walls: invisible and nearly impossible to find.Â
You knew you should have. You should have respected his privacy, but Remus and his friends were being shifty. It felt almost as if they were avoiding you. It had been going on for months now; at the end of the month they seemed to get shifty, slinking off without so much as an explanation. So, although it made guilt bubble up in your stomach, you couldnât help but follow them.Â
You finally decided to follow them when you lay restless at night. You found your mind wandering and the little sleep you got came uneasily to you. So you swung your legs over your bed, and crept towards the door. You take extra care to not step on the creaky floorboards to make sure you didnât wake your roommates. Then, it was across the hall and down the stairs to the dorm you knew so well. Often, you spent more time there curled up in Remusâ bed instead of your own. You expected to hear a shuffle of footsteps before the door unlocked moments after your knuckles rapped on the wood. But instead there was nothing. So you tried again.
Nothing.Â
Using a simple âalohomoraâ the door swung open with an eerie jerk. Inside was the sound of nothing but silence.Â
The marauders were up to something again.Â
Illuminating your wand, you began to rummage around Jamesâ trunk until your fingers grazed the crisply folded parchment. You pulled out the map, unfolding it until you could admire the delicate lines. It had taken the boys hours as they hunched over desks, but the results were completely worth it. It took you a minute to find the boys, but there, scrawled out in their best hand writing were their names, and four sets of footprints migrating toward the courtyard just outside of the forbidden forest. Cursing, you pocketed your wand and replaced the map back at the bottom of Jamesâ trunk before following them.Â
It took much longer than you thought it would to reach the forest. With nosy portraits hung around each corner, you did well to make it out without being spotted and earning yourself a week's worth of detention of scrubbing toilets. However in the time it took you to reach the forest, it had gotten much darker and you now struggled to see where you were going.Â
The forest was daunting during the day and twice as much at night. Strange noises ricocheted through the trees and an unsteady breeze whipped through the air. You tugged the sleeves of Remusâ jumper over your fingers. Being alone made you jumpy. Each snap of a twig or rustle of leaves made your head whip around in alarm. You had considered turning backâŚbut you had already come this far you were too stubborn to turn back now.Â
It felt like you had searched every inch of the forest. You had begun to grow sore, and the biting cold was beginning to get to you. It was when the thought of turning back crossed your mind again that you saw him. Well, you heard him first.Â
A whimper. Low and desperate. It was painted and cut through you like a knife because you knew that tone. Remus. You pushed your legs toward the sound until you could make out the dark, cloaked figures huddled around him.Â
He was curled up on the ground, bloodied and bruised. Fresh scars oozed blood on his forehead and he seemed to be clutching his left arm as he writhed in pain. His friends stood over him in a circle, their wands poised above him. Threatening him.Â
Your wand was in your hand in seconds, the carvings so familiar to your hands that it was almost like an extension of your own body. You didnât really think in the moments that came after that. Supposedly it was because you were shocked. Your body was filled with an anger and protectiveness that you had never felt before as the marauders stood over your boyfriend. His own friends.Â
âRemus!â Your voice cut through the silence as you crossed the last distance toward them. Sirius had taken a step toward him, but you blocked his path as you practically dived in front of him, scraping your knees on the ground as you raised your wand protectively in front of you.Â
âGet the fuck away from him!â You demanded, causing the skulk of faces to snap toward you.Â
Sirius stumbled backward, caught off guard by your sudden appearance. Your eyes were wide as you watched cautiously, moving your wand hectically between the three of them. Not taking your harsh stare off of them, you gathered Remus up in your arms.Â
He seemed so fragile in that moment, his body bloodied and scarred. His chapped lips moved as he tried to form words that only came out as strangled whimpers. Your hand ran over his air, smoothing his curls as you whispered to him softly.Â
âShh, Iâve got you Rem. Itâs okay.â
He seemed to protest at first, hand wrapping weakly around the arm you used you clutch him to your chest, but at the sound of your voice he closed his eyes and sank into you.Â
âY/N?! Merlin, what the hell are you doing out here?â Sirius spoke first: panicked and confused.Â
âI could ask you the same thing.â You glared at him, scowling with your eyebrows. Your hand was shaking, your body too. You werenât sure if it was anger or fear. Peter stiffened, his eyes widening as he went white as a sheet.Â
You shook your head as your eyes brimmed with tears. You couldnât believe this was happening. Remus was lying scared and injured on the floor surrounded by his friends who had- You could practically see it in your mind; Remus being chased down by the boys he believed were his closest friendsâŚ
Clenching your jaw you spat at them. âYouâre supposed to be his friends!âÂ
James furrowed his brow, staring wide eyed at the end of your wand. âW-what?â
âHe trusted you!â You yelled at them. âHe trusted you and you treated him like shit!â
âY/N⌠whatever you think is going on here isnât.â Peter spoke meekly, distancing himself from your piercing gaze.Â
âI canât believe he trusted you! I-â
âYou have to let us explain!â James protested âItâs not what it looks like!â
âDonât you think youâve already done enough?â
Sirius was about to open his mouth to reply when Remus let out a whimper, trying to shift his weight only to end up putting weight on one of his wounds. The five of you fell silent.Â
âWe need to get him to the infirmary.â Sirius stated.Â
You clung to him closer. âYouâre not taking him anywhere.â
âY/N pleaseâŚâ James begged âLet us help him. Weâll explain ourselves I promise. But he needs help.â
You glanced at Remus. His pain-dazed face made your stomach toss and turn. Swallowing thickly, you nodded hesitantly. âFine.â
Letting out a sigh, Sirius moved to Remusâ right side, helping to haul him up onto his feet.
âAlright, Moony. Letâs get you to Poppy.â
Once Remus was back on his feet, the five of you made your way back to the hospital wing. It was a slow walk, and you kept one hand wrapped firmly around his waist as you helped support him. Although you had pocketed your wand, that didnât stop you from sending warning glances at the other boys. You were still unsure. The three of them seemed to know what they were doing; they moved with the coordination of a group of people that were experienced and moved more like one force than as a group of separate people.Â
When the pristine walls of the hospital wing came into view, you did well to hide your surprise. It seemed almost as though Poppy had been expecting the five of them to bring Remus to her. You also didnât miss the frown she gave you which was followed by a questioning look to James who dismissed it with a wave of his hand as he tried to focus on Remus.Â
When he was situated in a bed and Madame Pomfrey had finished hovering over him, you took a seat next to Remus with one of his hands in yours. His face already looked better, and with help from a potion seemed to have fallen into a dreamless sleep.Â
~
It felt like forever before Remus woke up. You had fallen asleep hunched over on his bed and awoke to someone stroking the top of your hair. Blinking slowly, you lifted your head and came eye to eye with Remus.Â
âHey you.â He mumbled, his fingers trailing to under your chin.
âRem?â
He smiled at you weakly, clearly still tired despite the fact that he looked much better âHey.â
âOh RemâŚâ You wrapped your arms around his neck, hesitant in case you hurt him. But he hugged you back tightly.Â
âIâm so sorryâŚâ Remus bit his lip nervously. He looked anxious and it made you wonder how long he had been awake before you finally opened your eyes.Â
âWhat are you sorry for, Rem?â
You could sense the taller boys lingering by the curtain. When it slid open, you felt your hand tighten around your boyfriends. The other three boys stood there equally as nervous.Â
âExplain.â You said.Â
âY/nâŚâ Peter started, unsure how to explain.
âWhatâs going on? Iâm sick of being lied to. Just tell me the truth.â You told them, smoothing the skin on the back of Remusâ hand.Â
âIts not that simpleâŚâ James told you. âI donât know if Moony is ready to-â
Remus nodded his head slowly, twisting his gaze ever so slightly away from you. âItâs alright James. You can tell her. She deserves to know.â
âDo you know why we call him Moony? Y/N?â
You replied with a simple shake of your head.Â
âItâs because Remus isâŚâ Sirius took a deep breath. It was much shakier than he intended it to be. There was no easy way to say it. âRemus is a werewolf.â
Remus had expected you to laugh. To run off or to angrily accuse him of lying as you shoved him away. Albeit instead, you were quiet as you slowly pieced things together. It made sense. The scars, the disappearances each monthâŚyou were surprised you hadnât figured it out sooner. You hummed. When you made eye contact with Remus, his eyes were frightful. As your hands moved to trace the scars on his face as you had done many times before, he leaned instinctively into your touch.
âWhy didnât you tell me before?â You whispered.Â
âI was scared.â Remus admitted truthfully.
âOf what?â You knitted your eyebrows together, scrunching up your nose.Â
âThat you wouldnât love me anymore.â
Your face softened. âOh Rem. I could never stop loving you.â He smiled softly as you leaned forward and pressed a kiss to his forehead. âThis doesnât change a thing. I will never stop loving you.â

It was forbidden love, really.
Those little moments of not-so-accidental touches, stealing glances, and discreet smiles sent each other's way were your means of communicating with each other.
James Fleamont Potter, a Gryffindor boy that was absolutely smitten with You; Slytherin's Princess.
An odd combination that would only lead to chaos.
Being one of the sacred twenty-eight wizarding families meant that you command power and respect from everyone you meetâ intentionally or unintentionally. The idea about blood purity, power, and influence was already in your mind as soon as you were able to grasp things your toddler brain could handle.
You were taught to only mingle with pure-blood families, people who could be useful and loyal to you, and those with power, influence, and wealth. Your familyâs distaste for muggles and muggleborns were also ingrained into your mind, as if they programmed you to believe what they believed in. It wasnât that hard, after all you were surrounded by rich witches and wizards who are blood supremacists.
For someone who grew up with those ideals and values, you thought it was right. Although, your belief came tumbling down the longer you spend time at Hogwarts and got to know James Potter and the rest of the Marauders.
James, he made you feel alive.
It felt as if he was the breath of fresh air that you never knew you needed. Away from that suffocating Malfoy Manor, the scrutinizing gazes of your family, and away from rich pure blood problems. Being with him felt exhilarating, he was the buzz in your life. James brought so much joy into your dark, lavish, and empty lifestyle.
It was quite funny, picturing him as your knight in shining armor, whisking you away from your pretty, gold cage.
"Malfoy!" Evan Rosier, a pure-blooded Slytherin raised his hand in your direction, motioning you to come over and sit beside him during breakfast in the great hall. Cold eyes like Lucius Malfoy's travelled in his direction, a questioning brow raised.
"Rosier, you are being too loud." She commented, walking, and sitting next to him before greeting the person beside him, Regulus Black.
"Good morning, Regulus."
"Good morning, Y/n."
Barty Crouch Jr. looked up from his meal and snickered at the both of you. "Good morning, Mum and Dad." He teased, greeting you both as Evan laughed along with the other Slytherins near them. Heck even Severus has a small smirk planted on his face. "If you wish to make your family line extinct, then please feel free to continue with your remarks, Crouch."
He smirked, putting his hands up in mock surrender "Just kidding, Y/n. Geez. Rough summer, I suppose?"
You felt your lips press into a thin line, an obvious answer to the question; It was horrendous.
Evanâs laughter slowly dies, he shakes his head, âGive her a break mate, she just got the biggest news of her life during summer. Isnât that right Y/n-â
âShut your mouth Rosier if you do not want to be hexed into next month.â Her empty threat really doesnât do damage to Evan, he just shrugged, taking it as a warning that youâre not in the mood for jokes.
Your father, Abraxas Malfoy and older brother, Lucius Malfoy made a huge decision for your future. Hearing rumors here and there about their Slytherin Princess being romantically involved with a blood traitor in Gryffindor enraged your father, Abraxas. That will certainly not do, they will not sit idly and watch as the Malfoy name be... tainted with those rumors.
You remember how you felt dread entering your system, fighting the urge to run and throw up as you mustered up a façade, âThose are just baseless rumors, a plot to ruin my image in school." You held your head high, praying they do not see the truth.
Abraxas stared at you, his daughter, with a monotone expression. "Your brother and I do not care whether those ridiculous rumors are true or not." Lucius nods, agreeing. What a lie. You know your family well enough to not believe what comes out of their mouths in situations like this.
"We do not care if you had relations with the boy, even though it is rumored that he is a blood traitor, you knew well enough not to fool around with mudbloods. Well done, Y/n. Perhaps you could change his views, get him to join our cause.â Lucius looked at you. You could press your lips into a thin line, trying to find an answer.
âThat tactless boy's role is to only be a bed warmer for you, remember that Y/n." Your father stood from the chair he sat in the drawing room. Slowly walking towards you. âAlthough, I suppose it ends now. I heard Lady Walburga Black is looking for a potential bride to their heir, Regulus Black.â
After a week, it was official; You are to be wedded to Regulus Black, your friend, Siriusâ brother.
You could not do anything about the arrangement, what fight would you have put up? A young girl like you, who does not have any power, influence, and wealth could only suck it up and accept.
How you wish it was James you were betrothed to.
âJames, you came.â You breathed out, seeing him take off the invisibility cloak. The moonlight in the astronomy tower complimented his features, he offered a small smile sitting beside you.
The stakes were high, you were sure underlings of your brother (and possibly father) in the school have their eyes trained to you as you enter another year in Hogwarts. You would need to find new ways to meet up with your lover. Regulusâ eyes discreetly looked towards James, who is undeniably looking at you.
âWouldnât want for my girl to be alone, you know?â
He joked, intertwining his finger with you, a second nature to the both of you. Squeezing his hand, you softly looked at him. âI missed you, pothead.â He leaned towards your face, kissing you on the forehead. One of the things he does that never fails to make you feel flustered. âI missed you too, love.â You rolled her eyes, slightly shoving him playfully, âStop being sappy, Pothead.â
âYou secretly like it, love. You canât lie to me.â He grinned, although the last sentence made you tense up. James shot you a concerned look, noticing your body language. âSomething wrong, love?â You were torn, deciding on whether you tell him about the engagement rather than keeping quiet and leaving him in the dark about your current situation.
âI got engaged.â Before you could even stop yourself, the words flew out of your mouth. Shit. It wasnât how she planned to tell him. The light atmosphere suddenly became dark and heavy. You can feel James turn rigid, freezing up as he muttered. âSo, it was true, huh?â He scoffed bitterly, hurt overtaking his features. âJamesâŚâ You gently called, carefully placing a hand on his shoulder. He flinched, turning his body away from you.
She tried to ignore the hurt she felt, pushing it down as she understood why James was acting this way. Â âSirius told me.â He choked out, still not looking at you. James really does know you well, answering the question you havenât even voiced out yet. The slight tremble in his voice made your heart crack. You bit your lip, of course Sirius found out; he was still a Black after all.
âI love you, James. I really do.â
You spoke to him, you raised your hand, about to put a hand on his back that was still facing you but deciding against it before it touched him. Your hands faltering before dropping down to your sides. He shakes his head violently, his curly locks getting messier than they already were.
âDonât⌠Donât say it like that, love.â He pleaded, slowly turning to face you again, eyes glistening with unshed tears. âDonât say it like youâre about to leave me. This. Us.â He croaked; you felt his large hands placed on top of yours. He brought it up to his lips, kissing the knuckles.
âJamesâŚâ You managed to utter out, voice getting caught at the throat.
James knew he was acting like a child, but damn- he never thought it could hurt this much. He pictured both of you marrying each other, living in a large house with a big backyard because he insisted it will be great for when you have kids. Merlin, he even imagined about 3 or 4 kids looking like the perfect mix of you both, running out and about with their names already carefully thought out.
out. He daydreamed that the both of you grow old, watching you tell stories to your grandkids about their grandfatherâs mischief during your years at Hogwarts.
âI have to, James.â She chokes out, tears spilling onto her cheeks. Those four little words made Jamesâ little bubble of happiness burst with just a bat of an eye.
âDonât⌠donât do this to me, love.â He pleaded; he even went down onto his knees as he saw you standing up from your place beside him. Poor James, luckily it was only you, the moon, and the walls of the Astronomy Tower watched him become a wreck.
âI love you, please remember that you will always have my heart, James. I wish you find happiness.â The part âwithout meâ was unsaid but was heard. It took a lot of courage, strength, and self-control not to fall apart. Deep down, you wanted James to say the same to you, proclaiming his love again for the last time youâll be together.
âI love you Y/n, so much. No one will ever make me feel the way you did. Iâll find a way; a way for us to be happy together. I swear on my life.â He promised, looking at you straight in the eye. You could only close your eyes before smiling at him, trying to blink the tears away. Stars, you hoped James really does find a way.
âGoodbye, Potter.â She turns, walking away.
Maybe Slytherins and Gryffindors really arenât meant to be together.

âThe man that you are, Remus Lupin. It honestly drives me crazy.â
Normally, this would be weird and downright creepy for other people if they receive this kind of note from an anonymous senderâ but for Remus, it isnât.
Remus feels his brows raise, a small smile grazes upon his lips, chuckling to himself as he folds up the small piece of paper and tucks it to his cardigan pocket, quite amused. It sort of became a part of his routine to receive letters and chocolates (mainly kisses) from his secret admirer almost every day since the start of their fourth year.
He found it weird at first, feeling a bit creeped out as he thought it was a bit stalkerish. He would find random notes to his bed with a Hersheyâs kiss after taking a shower or when he got back from classes, on some occasions it will be delivered through the owl in the great hall (which was quite embarrassing in his opinion). He often catches himself waiting for the little note and chocolates to just magically appear wherever he is at the moment.
As time passed, he was actually looking forward to the little harmless notes he receives. It felt surprisingly good? Somehow, his heart fills with warmth and a smile subconsciously forms on his lips. He even has a small box hidden under his bed which was filled with the little notes you send him throughout the years.
It makes him feel like he could be loved; heâs worthy of being loved.
He took the Hersheyâs chocolate bar that came along with the note, opening it and taking a bite. Seems like his secret admirer was feeling pretty generous today.
âMoony, can I have some?â Sirius asks, eyeing the chocolate in his friendâs hands.
âNo. Itâs mine.â
âAw come on! Are you seriously still upset I just took one kiss from your not-so-hidden stash?! Youâve got loads of âem mate!â Sirius threw his arms up in the air, complaining. âItâs mine, Pads. Go buy yours.â He reasons out but breaking a piece off his chocolate bar and giving some to an awaiting and smug Sirius.
âIt tastes better when itâs free,â
âSeems like Moony got a note, huh?â James teased, elbowing the tall werewolf as he saw the paper poking out of the pocket of Remusâ cardigan and the chocolate in his hands.
âWhat does it say, Moons?â Peter asked curiously.
Remus blushed, a shade of pink dusting his face as he shakes his head.
âCome on, Moony! You always used to tell us!â Sirius whines tugging Remusâ arm, shaking his dear friend. James laughed, a sudden glint in his eye. âPads, stop it- âcue a protest from Sirius. âOur Moonyâs blushing!â James teased in a sing song voice. âOh sod off, Prongs!â Remus retorts back.
âYou think we donât notice mate?â
Remus fell silent, flustered. Prongs caught him off guard. âI donât know what youâre talking about Prongs- â
âYouâre in love, Moony.â Sirius cuts him off, smiling cheekily at one of his best mates. Remus raised an eyebrow and âYou think I would fall for a person who sends me letters anonymously?â
âWell, yes?â Sirius smiled sheepishly as Remus shot him an unimpressed look. âYouâre secretly a hopeless romantic, Moony. Donât think we donât notice you reading those romance books when you thought no one is looking.â Peter joined in, smiling.
He just sighs, rubbing his hands on his face. He canât deny it, theyâre right. It makes him feel stupid that he felt attraction to whoever is sending letters to him, but he canât help it.
âY/n, youâre seriously going to make the poor boy have diabetes by the time he turns 21.â Your friend shakes her head, seeing the overflowing number of chocolates scattered on your bed as you decide what to give him throughout the week.
âHe just looks so adorable; I canât help it!â You reasoned out, finally picking up the Reese cups at the foot of your bed and deciding you (more like your owl) will give it to him tomorrow.
âMerlinâs beard, Y/n! Youâre so fucking in love with Remus Lupin. Youâve probably already spent hundreds of galleons already just to get your hands on muggle chocolate.â She told you, knowing that you bribed one of your muggle born classmates to buy you some during the break.
âNot hundreds, probably around a thousand?â You shrugged, grabbing a quill and a piece of parchment, smiling to yourself as you write. âY/n! Youâve got to be kidding me!â Your friend exclaimed, stunned.
âEh, itâs alright.â You waved her off, folding the piece of parchment and attaching the chocolate to it.
âIâm seriously gonna tell Sirius one of these days that youâre the one who sends love letters to his friend.â
âAnd Iâm also gonna seriously tell him that you secretly wish you would date each other.â
Remus stared at the Reese Cup and note that was delivered in front of him as he ate breakfast in the great hall. A small smile crept through his lips as he opened the note. âI hope you like Reese cups :) Have a great day!â
The owl hoots, trying to get Remusâ attention. âAh yes, I almost forgot. Sorry!â He took out a treat, feeding it to the owl before grabbing the little note he made, tying it securely so it wouldnât fall. âGive that to your owner, yeah?â The owl then flew away.
âFinally making a move, Moony?â Sirius asked, smirking as he saw the whole interaction. âI guess? I need to find out whoâs been sending them before we graduate, because I might never get the chance to.â
âOh my Merlin! You wouldnât believe it! Remus just sent me a letter!â You exclaimed, entering your dorm room, expecting your friend to be there.
Well she is, but two things were out of the ordinary: A boy was in your dorm room hanging out with your friend, and it was Sirius Black. Your stomach dropped. âAh shit.â You mumbled, feeling the heat creep up your cheeks. You couldnât even look at him, worried heâll tease you and you just might combust from the utter embarrassment youâre feeling.
âI see youâre the one whoâs sending our Moony little notes?â He grinned, acknowledging you. All you could do was mutter a small âYeah.â wanting the castle floors to swallow you whole now.
âItâs alright, Y/n. Iâm pretty sure heâs already head over heels for you. He might just marry you then and there when you finally decide to meet him.â Sirius chuckles.
âSirius! What does it say, Y/N?â Your friend asks, clearly happy and eager for you.
âHe wants to meet me,â You blushed as Sirius whistled and your friend squeals.
âThatâs my Moony!â
âThatâs great! When?â
You gulped, âLater evening, an hour before our Astronomy class shared with Gryffindors.â
To say that you were nervous was an understatement. Your felt your heart rate pick up every time you heard footsteps echoing, getting closer to your meeting place for it to only pass by. You kept having these mini heart attacks every now and then as you patiently waited for Remus to (hopefully) arrive.
âY/n?â A voice called out, making you turn your head in that direction.
Remus felt his world stop, seeing the girl who took his breath away since they were first years. You offered him a nervous smile as he slowly walked towards her.
He would never admit it, but he secretly pictured you to be the one that was writing notes and giving him those chocolates that made his day. It was probably the main reason why he felt attracted to the person behind the notes and chocolates he receives. Although he made himself believe it was far from the truth, there is no way you wouldâve done those when there were more good-looking guys other than him.
Except it was real. Youâre standing in front of him and looking up with those eyes of yours that seem to enchant him and make him fall for you even deeper. âHi, Rems.â Biting your lip nervously, calling him by the nickname you gave him in your letters.
Merlin, maybe Sirius is right; he might marry you right there and then.
