Puppy Love by Reioka (which expands on this post) Bucky is learning to become a person again. When some guy starts crying all over Natasha's dog, he decides he's doing better than he originally thought. They are so adorable and fluffy and I love them so so much.

The Avengepurrs by NarutoRox Tony may or may not have ulterior motives for frequenting his favorite cat café, The Winter Snuggler. The motives may or may not have anything to do with the café's very charming - and very hot - owner, Bucky Barnes. I squee every time. The cats, and the pining, and the misunderstanding... Yeah, I love it.

Ducks in a Row by NotEvenCloseToStraight Tony finds duck eggs and hatches them. Not even the Winter Soldier can resist a caring sweet Momma Tony. The Winter Soldier has good taste, because oh my God is this adorable.

SFW Rec Saturday: Hurt/Comfort

Second Time's the Charm by Tahlruil Bucky's face did something complicated, though he didn't actually say anything. It was a refreshing change from almost everyone else he was friends with. They just didn't understand - they just didn't see the Tiberius Stone that he did. Ty had a hard time letting his guard down, that was all. That he was willing to do that for Tony was awesome and he was tired of everyone giving him shit for it. With Bucky though, he could pretend that it was just the guy's resting bitch face and not a reflection of his opinion on Ty. "Seems like a cranky guy." Tony could kiss him for the dismissive sentence. Pepper, Rhodey and Steve all would have gone on a rant. Not Bucky. "So what are you workin' on? If it's world domination remember that I'm on your team." Bucky is honestly a great friend here, and I love how supportive he is. He is such a sweetheart.

Over The Line, Your Voice Lights Me On Fire by ISC When he gets the first voicemail Bucky listens and deletes without a second thought. New phone now that he's back, probably just a simple misdial. With the second, he listens and deletes, convinced that the caller will realize their mistake when this ‘Jarvis’ never returns their call. The third and fourth he keeps with guilty conscious because there is something about the other man's voice that his broken brain latches onto. With the fifth, tearful and pleading, Bucky confesses to Steve who convinces him to call the number and tell the guy he misdialed. When he finally begins to work up the nerve the sixth comes through it stops him in his tracks. 'Hey Jarvis, just me. I’m OK, mostly. A little beat up, but hey, that’s Howard. I just wanted… I just.... goddammit. Fuck J I miss you so much! God. Final semester of MIT starts soon and Rhodey won't be there and you aren't here because you're gone and it's all my fault!’ Broken sobbing interrupted the message and Bucky felt his heart constrict. ‘Why’d you have to die Jarvis? Why’d you have to leave me alone with Howard? I need you. I…' Still one of my absolute favorite fics, as is its (as yet unfinished) sequel. I reread this often and I love it just as much every time. Neither of them are okay, but they help one another out a lot. [TW: mentions of child abuse and suicide]

On A Scale From Panic To Malfunction by petroltogo Turning into a mindless killing machine isn’t what one might call a conventional reaction to a panic attack. It’s a good thing for Bucky then that Tony has never cared much for conventions anyways. Tony does not at all care to be worried, instead helping out the way he usually does - in whatever way he can. Their developing relationship is amazing.

Find a Way by SierraNovembr Avengers get hurt with unfortunate frequency, and Tony is there for them in ways that Bucky wouldn’t have even considered. Tony showing his support for the others in whatever way works best for them is my jam. He's an awesome friend and I love him (as does Bucky, really :P)

The Best Laid Plans (of Mice and Men) by Arboreal It was Annalise who noticed their small visitor first. “Tony,” the spider daemon said softly, skittering up the collar of his dress shirt, two of her eight legs resting delicately against his cheek, “Don’t startle them, but I believe we have a guest. Look, by the coffee table.” This is a completely adorable post-CW fic (again, proceed with caution if not Team Iron Man) that has Bucky and Tony slowly growing closer, with some Daemon assistance.

A fairly free interpretation of the prompt - there is masturbation for sure, and an asexual person/being watching it, so I say it counts :P And to be honest, I adore this story a lot, so I want to rec it.

In My Dreams I Turn You On by ceealaina Tony's crushing hard on his new massage therapist, but doesn't want to be a sleazy businessman. Bucky's crushing hard on his latest client, but doesn't want to take advantage of him in a vulnerable position. So they handle it like any sane adults - pretend it's not happening and refuse to discuss it. At least they both have terrible friends to help them through it. Absolutely adoring the mutual horny pining in this one!

Stark, Naked by 27dragons, tisfan A bottle of vodka, a dimly lit room, and his favorite camboi on the laptop… A lovely story that's both sexy and sweet. One of my absolute favorites!

1000 Paper Cranes to See You Kneel by Shi_Toyu Bucky thought the Avengers tower was strange. He wasn’t sure how much of it was living with a team of superheroes, how much was the fact that he’d spent the last seventy years in the hands of an organization that was brainwashing and wiping him, and how much was something else entirely. The Dom knew he didn’t exactly have a full understanding of how this new world he’d been thrust into, or any world really, worked but something just seemed… off. It nagged at him, pulled at his attention like a splinter in his finger that was too small to find. I think they are absolutely adorable in this, and it's still one of my favorite stories. I especially like Bucky's stance - “Do you have any idea what an honor it is that you’d let me be your Dom when you don’t need one? It means you’re with my because you chose me. It means you think I’m worthy and that…that’s just indescribable.” Melts me every time.

You Know You Need Me by MizDiablo Tony Stark does not want a dom. Bucky does not want a sub. But wanting something and needing something are two very different things and getting kidnapped has never been a solution to anything. And Steve just wants Bucky to be happy.
