Rewatching The Umb.rella Aca.de.my reminded me of some things about Five so here's an assortment of headcanons:

He doesn’t eat much, he’s gotten so used to so little that it doesn’t even bother him anymore. 

He has PTSD, from time to time, especially if he’s still for a long time, he feels like he could close his eyes and reopen them to that apocalypse he did as a child. It makes him freeze up and think he jumped again, or worse he never made it out. 

He cares deeply for all of his family, but was closest to Ben and Vanya. He felt they were the strongest while the others felt a bit flat. It just came to be that Vanya was the one he trusted the most because she would listen. 

He drinks to forget his problems, but the big issue is it puts him in a bad attitude. Its a shorter experience considering it hits him harder since he doesn’t eat much. 

He’s got the worst superiority complex and prefers to work alone. Its easier if he doesn’t need to worry about anyone. 

He’s not without empathy, he just has too much at times or too little.
