As Soon As Jon Said This Line In MAG192 I Was Immediately Reminded Of This Line, Said By The Not!Sasha

As soon as Jon said this line in MAG192 I was immediately reminded of this line, said by the Not!Sasha way back in MAG79 about Jon.

As Soon As Jon Said This Line In MAG192 I Was Immediately Reminded Of This Line, Said By The Not!Sasha

And this line where Jonah describes Jon as more “Archive” than “Archivist” in 160.

As Soon As Jon Said This Line In MAG192 I Was Immediately Reminded Of This Line, Said By The Not!Sasha

But it looks like Jonah was wrong. Not only is he not the king of this ruined world, he’s actually taken on the mantle he intended to give the man he’s been manipulating all this time. Jonah is now the Eye’s pupil, the conduit for all the world’s fear. After all, it’s right there in the transcript; Jon is still very much the Archivist.

The Archive is Magnus.

Detroit Was Always More Alive In The Night. It Was When Most Of The Creatures Were Out, Whether To Feed

Detroit was always more alive in the night. It was when most of the creatures were out, whether to feed or to torment, or even just live their lives, it didn’t matter. They were unnatural creatures who didn’t belong in this realm and needed to be taught their place. That was the part Jordi always enjoyed. There was a secret order to be had, a way to keep the balance of the world in the favor of the humans. It was less about protecting the world, he didn’t care much for the world outside of the other hunters. But, it was all he knew, all he had been taught from a young age. Brought to the city as a young child, he knew of the monsters that go bump in the night. He had encountered them in many ways, shapes and forms. Not only was there an oppressive presence of vampire and werewolves, but the covens that sprouted up, as well as those in between who didn’t seem to fit into any of the categories. More and more, he began to learn and started to work to get rid of them. It wasn’t until he was much older than he truly committed to the Salem Guild, having seen enough of the night life to know they needed to really band together and do something about it. By that time, the head of the guild had changed to its current, Hank Anderson, but it hardly mattered to Jordi. He decided to stick by and teach the other young ones the way to defeat their enemies.

He was on his way back to their headquarters after spending some time at the bar. It was the best place to scope out for some targets, especially the leeches. Lesser vampires had a tendency to prey on weak and drunken humans. But, tonight wasn’t his night. He took out a cigarette as he walked, lighting it up. It was a habit he was trying to quit, but the best he could do was moderation. He took a long drag, holding it for a moment, before just exhaling slowly.

Behind him, as he passed an alley, there was a sound like something being dropped. The smoke he blew out seemed to push out from the alley, not a constant gust but a small draft as if he had missed something falling beside him. Jordi flicked the cigarette to the sidewalk with a huff as he slowly stepped closer. He reached under the back of his jacket where his gun was tucked into his belt, silver bullets loaded and ready for whatever could be hiding. There in the dark, slumped over was a familiar figure. Jordi relaxed and just let out a sigh.

“Well, shit,” he crouched down to push the man over, another hunter who he hadn’t seen for a few days, “You sure seemed to run into something bad, didn’t you? Not a bloodsucker or a wolf, that’s for sure.”

He pulled out his phone to make a call, giving a huff when it went to voicemail. Unsurprising given the late hour, “Boss, its Chin. Figured out what happened to Henriks. I’d say he ran into a particularly vicious witch,” he pushed the man on the grounds’ form over with his foot to get a look at his face, “Bloody, but not drained... You see Doe before I do, tell him he owes me $50.”

He hung up and tucked the phone away and just gave a sigh, “Shouldn’t have gone off alone, kid. Maybe this’ll be a good lesson to the others.” He dragged the body towards one of the dumpsters in the alley, lifting him up and tossing him inside. He tossed in a bunch of the paper sitting around and lit a match, letting it fall on top. He stepped away as the whole thing went up in flames, “One less thing to worry about,” he leaned over to pick up his cigarette again, luckily still lit, and kept walking as he took another drag.
