Soo... art isn’t my main thing. It’s actually writing, and I got possessed by The Web to bring this to you, so Eye Lady is gonna break tradition, be brave, and shove this down for all of you to witness. It is the perfect (in my opinion) fic for Martin lovers, Martin protectors and those who really don’t want Jonah to exist (I deleted him for you :D)

Summary:

Martin Blackwood woke up with one goal in mind; make sure he gets this job.

Although the pay is not spectacular, the Magnus Institute is more than enough to keep their bills paid. An academic faction with an interest in the supernatural would surely jump at the chance to gain a 'Parapsychologist' in their ranks.

But when Martin sits in that meeting room, it's not a two-century body hopping madman before him. No, instead, he faces an even bigger threat;

A widowed father who can do a background check.

AKA; Martin Blackwood attempts to get a job at a strangely similar yet vastly different Magnus Institute to the one you would know. The end result is a bit odd.

CatMoth John. I have no reason why in particular but it's funny to me.

Further, more like canonical idea;

Its a subconscious determination and not so much a role decided.

John chose a moth because (insert Points for MothJohn regarding episodes).

Jonah probably would have picked an owl because anything vaguely insinuating a gods involvement sounds about right to him.

If Gerry were alive and had a choice/wanted to I see him picking a Raven probably. Or an Owl. Or nothing.

Rosie as a cat feels pretty cute but realistically I think she'd be a moth just cause of her feelings on being trapped by Elias/Jonah

Albert Von Closen I don't care much for your monster form so I won't bother

Serapeum Archivist should be a Sphinx or an Owl Harpy because of how corrupted they are. Moth would work but uh... idk I like the Serapeum Archivist too much.

Gertrude is stuck as a moth and she'd hate it (reasonably I see her refusing a monster form)

Okay so like being serious here; what's with everyone assigning Monster Johnathan Sims into being a Moth? Why can't he be an owl?

This has bugged me an inordinate amount and in true Eye Lady fashion, I'm gonna try to prove my propaganda ideation has merit (and also unravel this bloody mess).

Owl symbolism in the Magnus Institute's logo

Owls (mainly the Little Owl) are associated with the Greek Goddess Athena (Goddess of Wisdom, Warfare and Handicrafts), and the Eye is a Wisdom-based Entity fragment.

Being an Owl (Athena) puts them at odds with Spider (Arachne), thus being reflective of the Eye (Watching) and Web (Acting) mindsets.

Harpy John! Like, hello???? Bird wings??? Being a big floofy owl creature like Eda Clawthorne from The Owl House????

Its a robe, everything underneath is bones. Rains said it's Wither Skeleton bones which makes the face being standard weird but maybe it's just albino-esque stuff?

On the upside I built like three little gunpla yesterday on a friend hang out so like, I'm not completely crazy yet. We also played 'assign the TMA Entity' to Supernatural episodes which was kinda fun lmao

Update [7:09pm]: I have 4 hrs left and 0 focus. Not even Coffeezilla can save me. Not even LegalEagle. Not even SomeOrdinaryGamer. Not even friendlyjordies. I am in pain.

Update [10:38pm]: 1 1/2 hrs left, made some progress, know im gonna fail. I just hope I can ramble my intentions well enough in a blog.
