So I got a cat. Her name is Chai. When she is hungry, she is the most affectionate cat in the entire world, in order to tell me she's starving.

percy’s view of himself: i’m so stupid and ugly and useless. i’m such a lame demigod
literally everyone else’s view of percy:

Kya would totally do scenes with Tiny Silver. She'd call him Sil and be prepared to get Idia should he get possessed.
Your Silver is so cute! I feel like my OC would be friends with him because she loves theatre. What would you say is the wildest possession he's ever been through?
I wouldn't call any of his possessions back home particularly wild. He was fortunate to have a friend there who was basically a spirit repellent; as long as they were together, my Silver was safe.
But that friend was a troublemaker in his own right, so there were times when he'd just let my boy stay possessed for a laugh.

Spirits were often disappointed when they realized that nobody near Silver took him seriously no matter how much he threatened them. He already had a reputation for being the odd princess in the drama club. Those who weren't in the know about spirits just assumed he was doing improv.
He is a very bad choice for entities that feed on fear. Nobody's scared of the petite boy with overcooked noodles for arms.
As for being friends, yeah. He'd hang out with anyone who's nice and/or who shared an interest of his (or at least let him ramble).
Okay, you need to make sure you play this game at some point. Maybe not today or anything, because you’ll need about thirty minutes and a serious willingness to understand how it works, but - it’s so worth it. It’s basically an answer to our occasional frustration - why do assholes always come out on top? - and the beautiful thing about it is that not only does it explain how that happens, but also how we can change it.

“In the short run, the game defines the players. But in the long run, it’s us players who define the game.”
