People say that "for every door that closes another one opens" but sometimes I pull them shut.

I wish to be stolen. Like the treasures in a museum, I sit here and wait.

She has such beautiful thoughts, if only they knew.

I burned my mansion to settle for a shack.

Let go. Just let go. Why can't I just let go?

I lost my best friend

I answer a phone with a silent ring, I dial no numbers and the only voice to be heard is the sound of sweet nothing.

It doesn't make sense and I can't explain. To not know what you want but to want it so bad.

These thoughts are like quick sand and I slowly drown. I plead for help but my voice... There's no sound. I reach out my hand for anyone to pull me out but God damn these stupid short arms.

Some men are like flowers, they hold some of the most beautiful thoughts and feelings. Some women are like weeds, they look beautiful but they just want to steal your light.

If you focus on the hurt you will continue to suffer, if you focus on the lesson you will continue to grow - Mike McClure Jr.

LOVE BOMBING 💣
I found some really great advice from someone I follow on Facebook named Ace Metaphor. I really wish I had this advice in my earlier years so I'm sending it out now for those who need it. He said that people fall in love so quickly that they forget some people take advantage of others. Some people will be everything you could ever hope for until they get what they want, then they change or they leave. This is called love bombing. Ace talked about setting a list of qualifications, disqualifications and certain preferences you want in a partner. He said once you've found someone who meets your list requirements then you wait 6 months before making any commitments. This is a good way to fish out the ones who don't have your best interest at heart. Here is my personal list not that I really need it anymore but just to use as an example. I hope this advice helps someone who needs it.

GLIMMERS
I was having a tough day when I came across a post about something called glimmers. Glimmers were described as small things that made you happy or smile throughout the day, even if it was just for a moment. At the end of the day you would write down 5 glimmers you had that day. So I gave it a try and I was so surprised to see how many small things made me happy and would normally go unnoticed. After I started to really appreciate all the small things in life and I felt alot better. So here are my 5 glimmers of the day.
- i work in a warehouse and it gets quite dusty. Today I found a cute little spider print in the dust.
- I went for a walk down a quiet street and I could hear the beautiful sounds of the birds in the trees
- it rained today and it felt so exhilarating to feel the cold rain on my skin
- I saw beautiful wild flowers on my walk, all the beautiful colors seem so rare when living in the city.
- I came across some old sketch books from back in college that brought back some fond memories
