Yet another addition to the ASOIAF x Harry Potter AU that I’m way too overly fond of. I tried changing things up a bit by creating this piece in Procreate for once (I usually try for Photoshop whenever I do have the urge to draw anything digitally). Although I despise the idea of only having up to 130 layers open in Procreate, the choices for brushes is way better compared to what’s available for Photoshop on the iPad. Had lots of fun messing around with the brushes for this piece which is always a plus! Anyways moving back on topic, I decided to go with more of a portrait feel for this new piece of Fem!Harry or Harriel as I like to refer to her. I decided to go with a green color scheme for this one instead of any Targaryen colors when compared to my last post (there’s also another animal in addition to the dragon motif in this new post as well). I might try my hand on a more Gryffindor look for a future piece (maybe I’ll make a stag inspired piece too if I’m able too). Anyways onwards to more fem Harry shenanigans!

Notes on drawing babies!

I’m back, and I finally was able to finish this for a dtiyas challenge on Instagram for fkadaenerys! This was pretty fun to draw, and I haven’t participated in a dtiyas in about a hot minute, so kudos to that! It came out pretty good, still not happy with the hair and skin tones all that much, but I’m pretty satisfied for the most part! I’m not really sure what I’m going to do next, but it’s either between finishing up a piece of of star wars fanart or maybe even working on some fanart for some of the fanfics that I have read in the past year! (I’m really excited for that)

tutorial idea: how to draw teeth / toothy smiles!! i think teeth are difficult for a lot of artists, esp me. im terrible with drawing smiles with teeth. So I would really appreciate if you made a tutorial for teeth! /gen /nf. Thank you.

A closed-mouth natural smile will show the top teeth only

There are four incisors (the flat ones) followed by a canine & five molars on either side

I usually group the incisons together fon a more stylised look

While smiling, the lips stretch and look thinner

Start with simple shapes and work your way up to detail!
