Sorry to break it to you but you literally have to face your fears and slaughter them. Otherwise you will live a small life that you do not want. You literally have to view your biggest fears and attack them head on. You have to fall into the abyss to find your way out. The easy path does not exist. There is no get out of jail free card. You have to allow yourself to die a spiritual death over and over again in order to reinvent yourself into the person you are actually supposed to be. And you have to be painfully honest with yourself and the people around you. It’s horrible but it’s truly the only way.

During the timeskip he was absolutely in contact with Mr. Compress and Spinner. Don't fucking piss me off.

Hawks is the most hero to ever hero, and came from a place that no one can argue with me that he wouldn't give literally anyone a chance, let alone anyone with a fucking point.

≫ Spinner was practicing throwing his knives one time, and Dabi just so happened to slip in undetected. It was a good 15 minutes of spectating before Dabi found himself getting bored, but he gets the bright idea of scaring the shit out of Spinner.

≫ So at absolute random, he screams. Then Spinner screams, and THEN he throws a knife at Dabi and it lands right in his shoulder. There’s the whole fried pain receptor stuff going on so he doesn’t do much of anything but pull the blade out with a cheeky grin and finally leave (he needs that checked out)… Spinner on the other hand just stares wide-eyed and gapes, he’s a little too jarred to even say sorry about he knife to the shoulder because HOW DID HE GET IN HERE? Not to mention a scream was fucking UNHINGED from Dabi.

≫ After that weird day Spinner just takes a look around the league’s little makeshift training room every few minutes if he’s practicing, he’s not keen on being scared shitless again.

I’m just gonna go out on a limb and say Spinner brings out the stupid in Dabi. And it’s definitely evident in their banter.

Can you imagine if Star made it to Japan and talked with the heroes there? Because we probably would have had this conversation:

Star: *meeting Best Jeanist* ....ummm, the BJ on your belt buckle is an interesting choice.

Best Jeanist: It stands for Best Jeanist.

Star: Yeah, that stands for something else in America. I'd avoid being photographed by my team. You will become a meme.

Star: *meeting Endeavor, doesn't even acknowledge him and turns to All Might* Didn't this guy get outed on national television for being a wife beater, child abuser, among other things? Why's he still here?

All: *uncomfortable silence*

Magne, under her breath: whore.

Shigaraki: oh, you were talking about people we slept with? *Stops a second, lost in thoughts, then shrugs* fifty something.

Dabi: huh. *Empties his glass* Zero.

*chaos*

He would have also learnt that people with "villain" quirks can actually be hero

Idk I headcanon that Aizawa found out his quirk while watching some hero action on the streets when he was a kid

And ten he accidentally erased a hero's quirk, and the hero died and the whole story made the news, and even tho nobody knew it has been him he knew it because he felt strange in those few seconds -maybe a mix of concentration over the action and the loss of control that little kids have when they're excited about something-

Little Tomura would learn about Eraserhead and how he can erase your quirk and he keeps thinking that he would have been the perfect hero to save him and his family that day :(
