With how the fandom usually casts hybrid headcanons, half the server is gonna be fishified.

We have Pearl saying she's a fish after running around with a Salmon head on, Grian's just fishing the whole time and looks like a Cod, we have the whole thing with big Salmon for Beef and Skizz, which they also threatened Doc with, there's Gem with her water theme, X with the return of the Pufferfish Prankster in his episode, the whole fishing cult in general, which ended up with Pearl, Cleo, Skizz, Grian and Etho being fished into the air, and there's probably even more stuff that I'm missing.

Oh yeah, and we sadly can't forget about the wet fish slapping noises everyone seemed to be obsessed with at the start. Cub literally tried to console Scar with that after blowing up all of his stuff

Sugar Glider Pearl

I know that most people tend to draw Pearl as either a moth hybrid or some kind of moon spirit - and I really like both of those designs - but I wanted to so something unique for a change. And then, while looking for references for something else I wanted to do, I found a video of a Sugar Glider.

Let me just say, Sugar Gliders are absolutely adorable and they are american animals, so I thought why not and proceeded to hyperfocuse on making a Sugar Glider Hybrid work.

Then I went on to make the sketch and once I was satisfied with how it looked I decided that I didn't just want a sketch and added the flat colors. And once the flat colors were done I just didn't stop and proceeded to add lighting and a background to the whole thing.
