TBH, I doubt either of them will go to the VMAs this year. Joe's filming Fantastic 4 in the UK & Doja has to get ready for the iHeart Festival back in the States.

Speaking of Doja, she's only up for one award this year (Video of the Year for 'Paint the Town Red') and, unfortunately, she's not gonna win. If I were her, I wouldn't even bother worrying about the VMAs.

OC: Red Flags, Jealousy, and Unavailable = He's not taking this seriously, of course things could change, but from this reading he's dealing with his own insecurities and he's just looking for something fun. He can hangout with her and do other stuff but, that's about it for now.

Cosmic OC: Manifest + Moving

Manifest "tell the future what you want" so he's probably manifest things better for his career or for a better relationship. There's no telling, but he's hoping something better comes his way.

Moving "Change of residence" We could add this to the manifesting. Looking for a better place to move, but he might be moving soon if not later down the line or he might have to relocate due to a project.
