MmEh, kinda bummed out atm.

I've finally labeled my fic as on temporary hiatus- i mean it kinda already was given I hadn't updated for around over a month but sti l l. It got to the point where, mentally, I wasn't able to look at my writing without immediately having a bunch of negative thoughts about it. I just didn't like my own work. To the point where opening up the draft sparked immediate anxiety.

And the thing is!!! It's frustrating because I KNOW why, I know it's all just in my head, and the anxiety isn't logical. But it's still!!! Fuckin there!!!

And I WANT to write it. I'm the only person who can write this. I know I still love the ideas bc I'm still working on it in other mediums (art, comics). The motivation is there but the mental illness do be nerfing me.

I try my best to look up advice and such, knowing it's not JUST writer's block. But I have yet to find other individuals who also have bad anxiety about writing to the point that it inhibits them from doing so completely. So I just- don't really know what to do :/

So uhh if anyone else is sorta in a similar scenario, your writing is good. Just a reminder. Brain is just mean sometimes. Be patient with yourself 💕 I'm trying my best to be patient too, even if at times I do feel guilt for not updating things.

Annnd if anyone has advice like. Pls tell me 😳

To those who may have read my fic up to this point, it WILL be coming back. I promise. I just want to enjoy the process of creating it.

Seeing as I am making an aged up AU- I really like the thought of Riddle and Cater knowing each other in high school. Just- as platonic buddies.

Like it's some type of prestigious school, junior year, in the Queendom of hearts. Riddle is most likely aiming to be valedictorian, he's student counsel president, already been admitted to NRC. Trey and Chenya don't go to this school, and Riddle's tyrant tendencies leaves him without many people to possibly befriend.

Then. Just. Here comes this babygirlified dork from the Shaftlands having moved YET AGAIN in his senior year. Transferred even though there are only a few months left till Cater graduates. And there's just this little guy. Just this little fella of a counsel president who doesn't have many people around him.

OBVIOUSLY they manage to befriend each other. Most likely due to a combination of curiosity on Riddle's end and Cater's social skills. Cater would've had no fuckin idea where he'd apply to for college given just how often he's moved around. That is until one offhand comment about NRC during a study session.

Cater eventually graduates, his family moves back to the Shaftlands. Riddle finds out Trey also got accepted to NRC, which is great, but him and Cater are now only connected online.... that is until the lil teapot tyrant himself graduates, goes to NRC, and just finds Cater chillin there in his sophomore year.

They are all besties ur honor

For those who were wondering! This is a longfic that is still in the works, but has been posted up to chapter 5. It is a WIP currently on HIATUS while I learn to love writing again. Though it's certainly not due to a lack of interest on my end given the hours i've sunk into this comic LOL. It'll be back soon.

I am so so so so so happy with how this turned out. This is the official teaser comic for my fanfic, The Creation of a Villain, available to read on my AO3.

I have so much planned, and I'm gradually restoring a healthy relationship with my writing, and I'm very excited to share it.

For those who are interested, I've got a few more teasers on what I have planned in store. (Marked with * if it contains mild spoilers for TCOAV)

-Adding onto the established magic system.

-Adding onto established classes/lessons.

-*MC happens to be just as horrible of a person as most of the students here, resulting in some gradual changes to the canon that become more and more noticeable as time passes.

-It's an aged up AU where NRC is an actual college, so characters get mild additions to backstories (as well as some height changes).

-*Lots of possible headcanons for Royal Sword Academy, including a B/side plot with another MC that is a student there.

-Inclusion of canon events, as well as some I create on my own.

-I love exploring character development, so there's gonna be more of that :>

-*She does, indeed, get attached.

-A lot more!!!
