Anjanette Young is a Black social-worker from Chicago who was a victim of a botched raid by the Chicago police department in February 2019. Ms. Young’s home was raided and she was handcuffed with guns drawn at her while completely undressed. She repeatedly told officers over 40 times that they had the wrong home. Police eventually realised they were looking for the resident next door and left Anjanette’s home. Ms. Young is now in a legal battle with the City of Chicago as they tried to block the footage of the raid being made public.
