you smiled to yourself as you entered the bedroom you and jungwon shared, seeing him sprawled out on the bed.

“ come on wonnie, you need to get up my love” you said softly, walking up to his cam figure before placing a hand over his shoulder.

he whined, rolling onto his back before opening his eyes just enough to see you. “ see, we’re already halfway there” you said, jungwon instantly closing his eyes.

with one swift movement, jungwon entangled his arms around your waist and pulled you down next to him. “ don’t say anything. just lie down with me.” he said, closing his eyes once again and stuffing his face into the crook of your neck.

as much as you wanted to deny that you liked it, you eventually gave in to his small protests and ran one hand up and down his back while the other tangled itself in his soft hair.

he deserved it.

the sun coming through the white curtains lightly brushed the boys cheeks as he was still asleep. you and sunoo had a sleepover but by the time you finished doing everything planned, sunoo refused to let you go home alone as there are ‘ too many creeps’ . he slowly shuffled around so he was facing you, his eyes still shut. you let out a quiet chuckle at his hair that he took so much pride in, being all messed up. you slowly slid out the bed you had been sharing with him before reaching out for your phone but hesitating for a moment. you hummed to yourself before picking it up and snapping a few quick photos of him, placing the phone back down on the nightstand. you fixed up the sheets so he was better covered and then walked to the bathroom, freshening up. you blushed your teeth, brushed your hair and looked through the bag you had packed to grab another pair of clothes. you double checked the door was locked, changing into the clothes and making your way downstairs to the kitchen. biting the inside of your cheek, you opened the fridge and decided you would make him something sweet for breakfast this morning. he was always so harsh on himself with what he ate… you grabbed a few strawberries and some yogurt. pouring the yogurt into a bowl, you silently prayed that sunoo wouldn’t wake up. thankfully he didn’t. you cut up the strawberries and mixed them into the yogurt before sprinkling some different types of nuts over the top. using a strawberry you had saved for the top, you placed it ontop of the yogurt and added a little bit of whipped cream around it. “ perfect..” you whispered to yourself, not wanting to wake up his parents. picking up the bowl, you carefully make your way up the stairs after grabbing a spoon. to your surprise, sunoo was sitting up in bed, rubbing his eyes. he didn’t notice you walked it in but once he did, he tilted his head and gave you a ‘ what’s all this?’ look. “ i made you something..” you mumbled. sunoo was your best friend, you had to take care of him. handing him the bowl, you sat yourself down next to him on the other side of the bed. “ is this okay?” you asked him as he was just staring down at the yogurt. he nodded, instantly grabbing the spoon and taking a bite. “ wahhh!” he exclaimed, turning his head to look at you as his eyes widened. “ mm, so good!” he said, barely swallowing the but in his mouth before taking another bite... The wind creeps over the empty hallway of your school as you move quietly around the pool of bodies on the floor. Moments ago, you had ran the total of the school’s distance, away from the undead - losing your friend in the process.

This must be the peak of your stupid life. The situation didn’t even allow you to mourn properly over your loss. 

Tears run down your cheeks quietly as you try your best to remain silent. You hadn’t been in this part of the school before, at least not for the ten hours you’d been stuck in the four-cornered premises, so you don’t know where the walkers were situated. Just that, in your whirlwind of emotions and the blur that is your memories, you ended up here after seeing your friend go. 

The world moves slowly, the only open light receding in the grounds being that of the moon seeping through the clouds. You don’t know how you made it this far, all that you really knew was that you needed a new hiding spot. 

You make a mental checklist in your head as you try and navigate through the grounds undetected. You needed a room where there was a lock, somewhere that wasn’t infested with zombies (saying the word ‘zombies’ still felt unreal to you), and you needed food. 

You’re sure you’re near the gym, and you knew the storage room was usually always locked. You also knew that some parents had recently donated a few snacks and bottles of water for your school’s athletes that were supposed to compete the following week, and that they were surely in the storage room. You just needed to get the keys from the teacher’s office.

The only problem was how you were going to get there.

As soon as you lean against the walls of the gym, sat and hidden behind a few bushes and resigned to the fact that no one is probably coming to rescue you, the loud clap of thunder echoes from the sky and ripples through the floor. You hear the distant screams of the undead and you feel yourself start to tremble again. You weren’t ready to face them again.

Another jolt echoes, one much bigger than the first, one you could feel in your bones. The screams sound much louder now. Rain starts to fall.

jungwon looked at you, puzzled for a moment at your sudden order.

“what?”

“take off your hoodie,” you repeated casually.

“why?”

“because i’m cold,” you smiled innocently.

jungwon sighed, rolling his eyes lightheartedly.

even though he knew you were just being playful, he adored you, especially in times like these—because truth be told, he loved seeing you in his hoodies.

you watched as he removed his hoodie from his body, something which was always so attractive to you. that was one reason you loved receiving his hoodies, though you’d never admit it.

being the gentleman of a boyfriend he was, he helped the hoodie onto you, your head quickly popping out from the fabric, and jungwon’s eyes crinkled into a smile of adoration for you.

once you got the piece of clothing on, you sighed with a grin, more than happy to be in one of his extremely comfortable hoodies.

jungwon quickly looked you up and down, butterflies erupting in his stomach at the sight of you in his clothes, a feeling that never seemed to fade even after all this time. he couldn’t help but lean forward and place a soft and short kiss on your lips with a smile. and once he pulled back, it left you wanting more. you frowned.

noticing your sad state, jungwon chuckled before bringing you closer and kissing you more.

as he pulled back, he continued to leave a few last pecks, not only on your lips again, but also some on your cheeks, nose and forehead.

lost in the moment, even after jungwon pulled away, you were snapped back to reality when his voice started, “better?”

your eyes immediately met his, slightly out of it, “hm?”

“are you still cold?” he clarified.

you paused for a moment as you smiled, “no, i feel much warmer now.”

“good,” he sighed happily with a smirk before adding, “you look cute in my clothes.”
