Well, it’s funny you should say that, because sometimes, he does…

Why Am I Working On Little A5 Black-and-white Versions Of London Pub Signs? Well, The Answer, Obviously,

Why am I working on little A5 black-and-white versions of London pub signs? Well, the answer, obviously, is because I’m getting married in September (thank you, yes, it’s all very exciting) and this is the sort of thing you do apparently...

Our tables are going to be named after pubs (it’s the closest we’re getting to a theme) and, before you ask, yes, it would definitely be much easier to just write the names of the pubs on some nice card or print out a picture of the pub and be done with it, but where would the fun be in that?

"... And That Spatula's Coming Out Of Your Damage Deposit, Too."

"... And that spatula's coming out of your damage deposit, too."

You can recreate Mr. Holmes' Very Convincing Waxwork Dummy using your landlady's knitting wool, a spatula that nobody was using anyway probably, a bit of old broom and Dr. Watson's favourite waistcoat.*

(Thanks to the bakerstreetbabes, whose last podcast unwittingly inspired me to finally get around to finishing this one...)

New adventures coming soon!

*Disclaimer: may be completely useless at fooling murderous assassins

Another Cringey Find From The Archives! This One Circa 2006, According To The Date On The File (and Judging

Another cringey find from the archives! This one circa 2006, according to the date on the file (and judging by the terrible scan quality). I'd forgotten all about this one, but I seem to have subconsciously been using basically the same bodyshapes (Holmes = pointy elbows, Watson = basically a pepper shaker with a moustache), not to mention facial expressions, for Holmes and Watson ever since...

(I have no idea what's going on with the lighting choices in this ... but, er, I like the cobbles? And Watson's weird lapel-less jacket is an interesting fashion statement.)
