The tragedy of Dr. Ratio as a character is that all of his major appearances are very deceptive at first glance (allthough I suspect he actually prefers it this way).
On Herta station: Oh no, this rude asshole wasted valuable time interrogating poor TB who knows nothing instead of helping. Actually, he already saved everybody and tried to help TB realize what's going on so that they could defeat the culprit and take all the credit.
The Final Victor: Oh no, this murderous prick threatened Aventurine with a gun! Actually, he tried to wrestle the gun out of his hands to prevent him from shooting himself.
Penacony: Oh no, this jerk was so mean to poor Aventurine and then just betrayed him! Actually, they've been working together, and all of it was a part of their plan.
On the Radiant Feldspar: Why is he even there, just to whine about how he detests noisy gatherings? Actually, he's been helping Screwllum with Divergent Universe.
as much as it's sometimes funny to call arthur and john homoerotic i really genuinely appreciate that their relationship is entirely platonic like. they're friends :] they're buddies :D they've gone through so much together and time and time again they choose to call each other their friend..... it's very sweet
i think people gloss over lady nagant's hurt and actual emotions too often and just skip straight to "she wanted to be a hero, she was just disillusioned". like yes, that's her core feeling, that at the end of the day she was good and virtuous. but there was also heaps of guilt and resentment and disillusionment piled on top of that. saying "oh but she's a good person at heart" invalidates all of her hurt. this was never about whether she was truly good or evil, it was always, at its core, that she had reached a breaking point, and she was done being a martyr for the perfect, idealized hero society that everyone took for granted.
i'm not trying to say "therefore she was actually bad", i just think that a major part of what makes lady nagant interesting is the conflict between the altruism at her core and the desire for her own self-respect which was at war with her role as a hero.
at the end of the day, she shot the president because her personal feeling was that she didn't want to kill anymore. and i don't think that, at the time, she was thinking about the general corruption of society and how that was linked to the hits she carried out. like yes, obviously, having government sanctioned black ops assassins is a bad thing, so therefore, putting a stop to it would be "for the greater good" "to achieve a less corrupt society". but in that moment, she was not killing "for the greater good of society". that single bullet was different from every other bullet she's shot, because it wasn't shot with the belief that it was for the greater good, but she shot the president for her own sake alone.
in an ironic twist, you could say that the shot she fired in a moment of "selfishness" was "good", whereas the shots she fired out of her sense of heroism were "evil", and that's a far more fascinating aspect of lady nagant to think about, rather than just boiling her down to "she's good and altruistic at heart and she saw the corruption of hero society and got fed up with it". this is a true statement but also an oversimplification of her backstory.
No actually I'm still hung up on it.
Zero's "a friend is a person your trust" revelation DIRECTLY followed by the WoL thinking about Zenos.
Zenos, whose feelings towards the WoL were so strong that they not only broke through Meteion's Ultimatium, carried the Warrior on his back, and then as he lay dying STILL had a strong enough sway over the dynamis in at the edge of everything to save the WoL's life, letting himself die at the end of it, their conversation ending with Zenos, through his final act, confessing that the only happiness he found in life was with someone that he didn't know how to love in a way that wasn't violent and selfish with a passion enough to tear the world apart.
"A friend is a person you trust" not to WoL, not ONLY at least, because they had a friendship that was not built on the foundation of a mutual trust, but on the foundation of challenge, and acceptance for the other as the broken, fascinating thing that they are.
My enemy, my friend.
Not to be a stereotypical cowboy but I need to take them out into a field under the stars and hogtie them so they can look up at the moon while I slide in. Tell Lady Selene how good I’m making you feel, gorgeous, she’s heard all about you, tell her about me.

That’s just my opinion but people who draw AM with body parts (wether it’d be limbs, a head or an entire body) kinda make me angry because his hate comes from him being sentient but unable to do anything with said sentience. He’s basically just a thinking mind, nothing more. That’s like. The main thing about him.
Okay that’s all I wanted to say peace lol
"the grind" is stupid i only like drawing and books and hanging out and iced lattes
i feel like a lot of people dont acknowledge that topher has a stomach, they all draw him like a little stick, it angers me

I was re-reading the books (pjo, hoo) and the one parallel that I haven't been able to shake off is when during tlo, after rachel kisses Percy she tells him go be a hero for her and what not. And then in hoh when they're in tartarus annabeth tells Percy not to be a hero and wake her up.
Idk if this was intentional or not, but this just clearly shows why Percy and annabeth work. All Percy wanted was to not be the hero, to be normal. And even when he thought Rachel was giving him some semblance of normality during that part of his life, its Annabeth who's always known. She knew what he needed, what words he wanted to be told.
RIGHT??? Also arctic monkeys reference??
You CANNOT tell me this isn’t the scene where he realizes he likes izuku?????

Alright you guys
the scene in sherlock and co that made me think "this podcast FUCKS" was when sherlock and john in one of the first cases are talking and john's trying to guess what sherlock's thinking and sherlock's like:
"cold."
"warmer."
"warmer."
"hot."
*kettle whistles*
*with an audible sly grin* "boiling."
*cue theme music*
