ii. CHAPTER TWO; FOLLOWED

"L/N YOU'RE INJURED again." The teacher piped in as soon as they saw Y/n gets inside the class with new band-aids on her face. One on her left cheek and the other on her jaw.

'She's covered in injuries again,' Nezu watch her walk to her seat. Her seatmate mouth "What happened this time?"

The next day she got more band-aids on her face in a different spot with the ones from yesterday already gone, and the same thing for the next day, the day after, and it continues till 1 week later.

"That L/n-San..." Nezu mumbled.

"L/n-san?" Yagi mumbled before his hand shot to his mouth "Don't tell me is it love!?" He asks.

"No, it's just every day she seems to have a band-aid on her face in every different spot," Nezu explained to him as Y/n left the class with her friends laughing.

"I'm just wondering how did she get those injuries."

"Chuukichi worries about others a lot~"

"If it'd be me you'd also be worried right?" Nezu continues making Yagi nod along with his words.

"Then how about we follow her on the way home?" Yagi said.

"Are you hearing yourself Tomoya? That's way too creepy. That's something you would do." Nezu pointed out. His words struck Yagi in the heart.

"N-no! Not in a creepy way, we could find out what's causing her injuries."

"I won't be long, my shift is going to start soon."

"Nothing is happening..." whispered Nezu from behind a utility pole with his hand still holding Yagi's wrist tightly.

"Not yet" Yagi added. "We're still close to the school, we only took 20 steps away from the school now." 20 steps from the school and the school building is still clearly visible.

"I'm starting to think maybe she got hit in her house-" Yagi shudder at the thought.

"Don't be ridiculous," grunted Nezu. "Oh, she fell." Y/n get down on one knee and fix her shoelaces."I wonder if she fell because she didn't tie her shoelaces?"

As soon she ties her shoelaces she shot back up and her head was caught in branches causing her to shout "Ouch!"

"She's just an extremely clumsy girl, isn't she?" Both of them are deadpan.

They flinched when she suddenly turn around with a nosebleed "Excuse me do you happen to have a band-aid or such?"

Nezu opens his bag and pulled out the band-aids and hand it over to her. She mumbled a small 'Thank you'.

"How did you know we followed you?" Yagi asked, curious on how did she noticed she was being followed.

"I'm a girl and I sorta heard Yagi-kun's giggling over something."

"Oh..."

"Yeah...you have a very You have a characteristic laugh that sounds a little weird."
