You know what actually fucking kills me? I work as a waitress in a restaurant and the amount of wasted food appalls me. You wouldn’t believe the amount of people who have sent food back to be wasted because their bacon wasn’t crispy enough or they decided they wanted something different when we bring it out. Now, I don’t live in a place with a high homeless population, but there is some people who can’t afford the luxury’s that these people can. And I’m not sure where I’m going with this anymore but what I’m trying to say is, if you don’t work in any good service industry, you would be absolutely disgusted if you saw the amount of food that’s wasted when there are so many others going hungry.
