Warren Peace X Reader - Tumblr Posts
Would anyone be interested in reading some of my writing? I mostly write for the many fandoms I'm in. My beta reader/editor hasn't been in the mood to read my stuff for about a month now and I'm suffering from writers block because she helps me with my ideas. So, if anyone wants to read any of my stuff or wants to help me with ideas or anything, I'd appreciate it. I can't promise quality work, but I can certainly try my best.

A stupid crush. That’s all it is.
A stupid crush on the lead cheerleader.
He doesn’t stand a chance.
She was a goody-two shoes, a preppy pink princess, and he's… well, him.
Surely, she didn’t want to date some hot head like him.
Working at the Paper Lantern certainly has some perks: free Chinese food and fortune cookies whenever he wants it.
Another perk though is that it's your favorite restaurant.
He'd watch many of her dates go south, sometimes helping you escape through the back door of the restaurant.
-------
You're currently sitting at your favorite booth in the corner, stirring your straw around in your drink, waiting for your date to get here.
You'd been waiting for 3 hours no, but, you really don't want to give up on him yet.
You'll give him one more hour and then you'd leave.
"Hey." a voice greets, causing you to look up from your drink to see Warren as he sits across from you.
"Hey." you greet with a sigh, your shoulders slumping.
“You okay?”
“Yeah. I guess.”
“You guess?”
“Okay, okay. My date stood me up.” you tell him.
"I thought so." he nods. "Here." he continues as he slides a fortune cookie across the table.
"Thanks." you say, a small smile appearing on your face.
“You’re too good for him, you know. Whoever he was." Warren says to you. "If he doesn’t put forth the effort to treat you like the princess you are, he doesn’t deserve you.”
“Thanks, Warren.” You sniffle gently, wiping your tears on a napkin.
“Don’t mention it.” Warren replies while snapping, the tip of his finger producing a small flame, lighting the lone candle sitting on the table.
“Do you, uh, could you keep me company?" You ask.
"If it’s not too much trouble that is…”
At your question, Warren glances around the nearly empty restaurant.
Seeing how empty it is, it doesn't seem like his help is going to be needed any time soon.
“Sure.” he replies with a smirk which makes you smile at him.
--------------
When it's time for you to get home, Warren insisted that he'd clock out and walk you home so that he can make sure that you make it home safely.
"Thank you for tonight by the way." You say as you turn to face him once your on your front porch.
“You turned a disaster date into a nice night.” you continue.
"No problem." He chuckles. “How about next time I take you somewhere other than my workplace?”
“Are you asking me out, Mr. Peace?”
“Um, yeah. I guess. If you want or whatever.” he shrugged, cheeks burning bright red.
You giggle gently as you step down from the porch so that your standing in front of him.
"What are you-?" He starts, only to stop when you press a kiss to his cheek.
"I'd like that actually." You smile as you see a little bit of steam rise from his skin.
"I don't have any plans this Friday night."
"Alright. I'll pick you up at 8." Warren smirks.
"It's a date." You smile before walking back onto the porch again and opening the front door.
"I'll see you at school." You say. "Goodnight Warren." You continue before closing the door behind you.

Just watched Sky High and my obsession with this man has come back harder than when when I was seven years old
