Maybe it was the fact he had heard the same speech all over again from many people before. Yet, he found hard to believe it. He took a deep breath. He wasn’t as good as Bruce was in these kind of situations. He wished he had Bruce’s hypocrisy to smile.
“It’s a wild world out there…” He said not knowing how much Bruce had told her about him. He hated this sessions. He disliked them because it was like everybody was trying to look a flaw on him. He knew he was flawed. He didn’t want anyone else to point them out for himself.
“You would know that better than most.” Leslie surmised. Jason was guarded. She supposed that was always going to be a given with the fact that he lived with Bruce Wayne; a man who’s secrets had secrets and the hardship he had faced before that. She hoped in time that he wouldn’t feel the need to be so guarded within their sessions.
“I just wanted to point out that people don’t need a cape in order to make a difference.”
