In a freak accident you lose your memory.
"My name's Trey, we were good friends." It takes everything in him to hold his voice steady as the word 'friends' leaves his tongue. He doesn't want to overwhelm you, not in such a fragile state, so he'll shove his feelings down. Afterall, as long as you're happy, he's happy, right?
"That's not funny..." Ruggie refuses to accept you forgot him. You were his favorite part of the day. Someone who'd warn him to not overwork himself too hard, or someone to lean on when he desperately needed it. Now you were gone?
"I see, well then, I'll take my leave." Jade Leech is a man of few words, and a man of even fewer relationships. He would hate to be forced to rebuild everything that's been shattered. Because no matter how desperately he wants it. No matter how much he begs, it'll never be the same.
"I'm no one important, just here for...Kalim." Kalim wasn't even there. He came alone solely to be there as your significant other, but now? He was there for no reason. He didn't want to have to climb his way into your heart when before you let him in with no issue. He just can't do that to himself.
"We were lovers, please, say you remember something." He knows it's idiotic. Stupid. Mornic. And yet, Rook wants to cling to the possibility you're still there somewhere. That you'll wake up from a trance and remember that you both are a happy couple who made plans for the future.
"Ortho! We were best friends!" You both were friends before, why can't you be friends now? Ortho sees no issue behind your memory loss, he's only concerned about your overall well-being. Afterall, you're family to him. An older sibling he values and cares for. Why would that change?
"Oh dear, don't tell me." The fae has seen many things over the course of his life. But never the love of his life lose their memory of him. He wants to be sad, angry, upset, but all he feels is acceptance. All things happen for a reason. Your life is short, so for now, he won't ask for anything more than for you to be safe.
