I've recently been playing Town of Salem 2 :)
Can I just say that I love love love the Jester? He's such a cute and silly little guy. So, I decided to draw him (and the Executioner. Because they're both basically two sides of the same coin).

I imagine that Jester is the more dominant one between the two, and he likes to tease Exe and be really flirty with him. Such as doing that stereotypical anime wall slam and stuff. Unfortunately, it's not as effective as Jest would like because he's, like, a head shorter than Exe, lmao.
Exe still loves it though.

Played a couple of games of TOS met someone on there played a few matches with them. Decided to draw something based on a match we had where they were the god father and was a mafioso. The framer left the game night one, Mango (the person I was playing with) was hanged on day 4 but I managed by some luck to kill all the townies. It was glorious.

To expand on this for shrimp anon (and somewhat based on your tags), the ToS2 server is kinda hit or miss since it has a lot of new/casual players who don't always know what the mechanics are (and sometimes they recommend straight-up illegal strats, which is obviously less than ideal.) imo the ToSCD for the original is just a no-go if you're looking to get into the game just because it's super chaotic
Content creators are deffo a good place to learn, tho. In addition to the ones you mentioned (TIL you also make vids, and yes Pipe's considered pretty good at the game), Adagia, Tuba and myself are also good channels to check out, though Ada generally leans more towards theory while Tuba and I lean largely gameplay.
But honestly? Town of Salem is a little hard just because there's a lot of roles to learn and a lot of shorthand, but watching how the other people around you are playing and paying as much attention to the chat as you can to see how the shorthand is used in context can help a ton if you feel like just jumping into it.
Most important thing to remember with Town of Salem 2 at the end of the day is that everyone is learning new things and working on their skills just like you are. There's a whole slew of new roles that the original didn't have, and a whole bunch of new funky interactions and mechanical quirks to memorize, so even ToS1 veterans are in unfamiliar territory right now. :)
To me tos seems like werewolves/mafia but like 10x more complicated. Do you think i should get into it as i LOVE werewolves but am concerned that tos might be a bit too confusing -🍤

A few days ago I got the sudden inspiration to do a Town of Salem x Steven Universe crossover AU, and people on my dA seemed really into it so I decided to actually give it a shot! I've been calling the AU "Salem Universe" and (if I continue the AU) will be pairing various SU characters with ToS roles that seem the most fitting for them. Keep in mind that most SU characters don't match up perfectly with the ToS roles so many of the pairings will be sketchy at best. Guess who's still pumped about their silly pointless crossover AU? yeah uhhh it's me, and you'd better believe I have at least a couple more pieces from it left haha (if you guys are really unlucky you'll get one for every character/role because a certain someone has no life). tbh I have no idea why this of all things is what's making me motivated to draw full pieces of all things, but ToS and SU are two of my favorite things at the moment so maybe that explains it? who knows I paired Lapis with Amnesiac for a flurry of reasons that I don't entirely remember at the moment (I picked the pair a month ago when I first started thinking of the AU) but I think the most notable was how wrapped up Lapis was with her past. I like the foil between Lapis, who spends so much time thinking about and struggling with her history, and the Amnesiac, who has no memory of any history or affiliation they once had. There's also the point that Amnesiac, being a neutral role, does not have a concrete affiliation at first and could end up siding with anyone, similar to how Lapis doesn't seem to ever really pick a side, even if she becomes friendly with one or the other. These took forever and a half, lmao. The combination of three separate drawings at once, all with a much higher level of detail and attention given than normal, made the process take hellishly long, but I’m really happy with the results (and am super glad I didn’t drop the project halfway through, like I do a lot!)
These are three of my favorite ToS skins/roles, each paired with a flower because I wanted to add some level of interest to the picture. Spy has a rose, since roses are commonly used as a symbol of the mafia; jester has a lily, as lilies are often associated with death and innocence; and arsonist has a sunflower, because it was literally the only flower I could find that had anything to with fire haha.
