He likes to sew! He is a former Golden Guard! He's a nerd!

i settled on a skink, specifically a blue tailed one

Vee with a Palisman! His name is Dewdrop, and he's precious, and Vee loves him like a baby, but he's protective and tries to act big, but he's tiny. (Then again, if a bug this big in real life threatened me, I would probably run for the hills)
It took me a while to figure out what I wanted their species to be, but then when I started thinking about insects, my mind went to these little fellas that hide in plain sight, JUST. LIKE. VEE.
I'm definitely using him in my AU (where Vee grows up on earth and comes with Masha to the Boiling Isles [I realize I probably need a name for it]). Maybe they bond on Palisman Adoption Day, or earlier, IDK.
I think Masha is really cool, so I gave them a Palisman. They also start taking classes at Hexside after visiting the demon realm with Vee. And then they both carve Palismen together assisted by Hunter!
Random Owl House thought: Palismen mostly take the form of Human World animals. But between Eda’s reaction to possums and Hunter’s to wolves, it seems like Human World animals are considered mythical beings. Which means it’s basically the equivalent of having a dragon head on your witch’s staff.
Then we’ve got Willow and her ‘totally mundane’ hummingbee.
Luz’s Palisman Predictions
Luz’s Palisman is a question that has been on the fandoms minds for a while, and while surfing around I saw three main theories circulating, and I am going to group them all here in accordance with their likelihood, from least to most likely (in my mind)
Blue Jay
-Dana’s (the creator of toh) new twitter icon has a blue jay in it, which has raised some eyebrows
-If Luz had a bird palisman it would fit in with the Clawthornes’ palismens who are all birds and symbolize how she is a part of the family, even if she is a bit different from them, all their palismen are birds of prey and hers is not, they are all witches while she is a human, but don’t underestimate her or blue jays, they may be small but they are not afraid to go on the attack
-Golden Guard aka Hunter has a cardinal palisman, blue jays and cardinals look rather similar in shape but have contrasting colors, and if the fandom gets its wish he is likely going to be adopted into the Owl House’s found family, and since they have such sibling vibes it makes sense for them to have similar Palismen
-Palisman wood is blue so a blue jay being made out of it would be fitting
Snek
-In the title sequence, there is very obviously owlbert on a staff, but next to it there looks to be an upside down staff with an S on it, and snakes’ bodies often look like S shapes
-A caduceus, a staff with snakes on it, is a symbolize of medicine and you will often see it on buildings who practice medical care, Luz’s mother is a nurse which gives her this connection to medicine, also there’s the whole thing with Eda being cursed and needing medicine to keep it manageable, something Luz often helps with
-In the first episode Luz brings snakes to school and later we see Azura (a character from her favorite book series that Luz identifies with) fighting a giant snake, and in the recent episode (eclipse lake) when she gets sick she thinks her arms are snakes, clearly girl has a thing for snakes and they keep getting brought up in relation to her
Bat
-Luz has a bat style phone case
-When communicating with Amity via tamagotchi, it shows a bat talking to a white cat and Amity’s palisman is a white cat, foreshadowing Luz’ may be a bat
-Dana made official art of Luz’s pokemon team and one of her pokemon was a Noibat, a bat like pokemon
-In the Owl House the Bat Queen used to be a palisman herself and she shelters other palismen who were mistreated, Luz has had several interactions with the Bat Queen, one where she had to prove herself because she accidentally hurt Owlbert and now the Bat Queen seems to respect her, which could be further foreshadowing about Luz’ palisman being a bat
-And while bats are not birds, they are animals with wings that can fly which can lean into Luz’ palisman being partially connected to the Clawthornes since she is a part of their family being adopted by Eda, along with King who is likely to grow wings since the man/creature people are theorizing is his dad (or some other kind of relative) has wings
They’re all gonna be a big winged family (esp with harpy Eda lol)
I’ve come to realize this grimwalkers needed their own palisman! So here we go!
Alexander’s palisman was the easiest of them all since his hair have always reminded me of lions; Lions symbolize courage, protection, leadership, passionate relationships, and strong self-esteem. Lion is a powerful “golden leader” that uses integrity and compassion to help shift the world towards positive change.
Alexander is the eldest which means he has a strong sense of protection over his family, he also has a strong self confidence when he’s in charge of some project, he’s also the most passionate on his work and uses every recourse in his possession to make it absolute perfect.
His palisman also has Bat wings and that’s bc Bats have qualities of both the bird and the mouse, rendering this animal a symbol of ANDROGYNE; it also has strong associations with darkness and obscurity, as a creature of the night. In Christian terms, the bat is viewed as "the bird of the devil", an incarnation of the Prince of Darkness.
That way we can view the duality in Alexander’s character, being a charismatic leader, a golden statue and a responsible role model that also struggles to overcome his own struggles with being a control freak that will keep all of his teammates in the dark in favor of protecting them from the truth or to do what he thinks is the best.
Allegra’s palisman was originally meant to be a frog which represents Poison, Hallucination, Transcendence: The Alchemical Amphibian. One of the other forms of power that frogs and toads wield in many cultures and myths is chemical, or alchemical: frogs are viewed as the purveyors of poison or of powerful drugs, which can heal or induce hallucinations. Frogs also represent wealth, abundance, ancient wisdom, rebirth, and good luck.
THIS PALISMAN DESIGNS MIGHT CHANGE IN THE FUTURE
Allegra is the first youngest of the group (before hunter at least), that’s why i wanted to represent her intelligence and hyperactivity with an animal that is known for their energy but at the same time for their adaptation capability.
For some reason i also wanted to add a scavengers features to symbolize her interest in necromancy, she’s a very intelligent and curious person but she can’t let things go, much less people. Her necessity to know everything lets her to be TERRIFIED of death bc it’s unknown for her
This also led her to harm herself a lot in pursuit of understanding what death really feels like, it’s only luck that she didn’t accidentally ended up killing herself in one of her “experiments”, but somehow she seems to not notice or maybe she actively ignores it. She constantly hallucinates with death people talking to her, her own brain is trying to convince herself there’s life beyond death.
Isaiah’s palisman was quite a problem, I wasn’t convince with any of the animals was a good reflection of him. At first i wanted it to be a bird like a parrot or a monkey or a fenix, but none of them fit right for me. Then it hit me; Isaiah is a very lonely, depressed, melancholic and self-hated character. Someone who looks very thought and threatening but in reality he doesn’t care about anything.
That’s why his perfect companion would be a shark; in tarot Shark speaks of how you survive, and how willing you are to keep moving, even in the face of adversity. Shark is a feared predator, and if Shark is showing up in your life it does so to guide you through conflict and tough decision making. This creature reminds you of your personal power and the inner strength necessary to get rid of negativity.
I don’t know how to draw fishes but i did my best. i decided to draw it with fins that act like tiny little legs, just bc it looked cute, no other reason.
Isaiah is the second oldest, he can relate a lot to the others and acts like the guide they need when there’s a dangerous or stressful situations. When needed he’s the shield or the knife, but when not he just passes by calmly.
He has an unwillingness to be victimised or intimidated by others. He’s quite emotionless and steely yet always seemingly maintain his sense of calm and determination.
He’s constantly seem as the confidant, Alexander relies on him when things are getting too much for him and he’s constantly ask for guidance or help in personal matters. Isaiah is not really afraid of managing other people's vulnerability and emotions (“be and let be” ) but he would rather drown his own insecurities in alcohol than open up to the people he loves.
This leads him to an unhealthy coping mechanism in which he would close off and drink until he collapses. His self worth is base in how he manage to survive all the trauma in his life, contrary to Allegra he’s not scare of death but he doesn’t chases it either. He’s a very calm person, even if drunk he never chases problems unless someone he loves is in danger or distress.

So. I recently opened an Etsy shop and have considered using it as a platform to sell art dolls! One of my ideas rn is to sell customized palismen dolls. They could be a palismen from the show, or just one you’ve always wanted to have, anything really!! They would consist of a small, posable art-doll that attatches to a larger staff whenever you want to (but can be removed and posed elsewhere), and would probably cost between 200-250 bucks per palismen.
BUT before I make any concrete decisions I wanna gauge interest in the project!!
Here are some examples of dolls I’ve made in the past (one of which is still a WIP because I haven’t gotten around to buying more fur lol) cause I don’t have any palismen made yet lol

An AU where Hunter's last name really is Bloodwilliams. He is the son of the previous golden gard and a witch/vampire/bat-demon. I decided that the Bloodwilliams have a tradition with having gems as middle names.
I've seen other people calling the previous golden guard Orion, and in this AU, he changed his last name and took his wife's because no one wants the same last name as Belos. He also uses a magic sword instead of a staff, just bacause I wanted to draw a sword.
I love the thought that child witches have to grow into their ears :)
Me and my sister were talking about different possible crossovers with owl house and tried a FMAB crossover AU. Part 1.
Hunter Wittebane: He lived with his dad, Caleb, and his older brother William (former golden guard- nickname Flapjack). After their father was killed, William went to study at the military academy in the capital and became good friends with Darius and Eberwolf, while Hunter studied under a rogue Witch/Alchemist named Eda Clawthorne. After trying to revive their father, Hunter lost his arm and leg, and placed his older brother's soul in a wood cardinal (their father was a woodcarver). He later came in contact with Darius and now work under his command. Darius is also his guardian since William is a bird. Hunter also has a crush on his childhood friend and mechanic Willow Park.
In this AU Darius has Roy Mustangs role as Hunters guardian and commanding officer. His subordinates are his Lt. Eberwolf, Raine and the rest of the B.A.T.s. A childhood friend of Darius is Perry Porter (Maes Hughes) who always brag about his son Augustus Porter.
Briggs (the Knee) is ruled by general Lilith Clawthorn and her second in command Steve. Mostly because Gwen Clawthorne is badass, Lilith was the coven head of the emperors coven and she punched Belos in the face.
The homunculus are ruled by Belos. He is the Emperor, like King Bradley, and met the collector (dwarf in the bottle) and got powers from him 400 years ago, like Hoenheim. He holds the power of pride. The other homunculi are Kikimora as greed (because she is greedy), hand-dragon as gluttony (because it tried to eat Hunter) , younger Terra snapdragon as Lust (because she is evil and nobody else fit.) Adrian as sloth (bacause he direct other to do stuff for him and will rather sit and watch), Vee as envy (bacause she is envious of Luz and can shapeshift) and last is warden Wrath (because his name and he turn into a giant monster).
Luz was adopted by Eda after Hunter left, and became her newest apprentice. Eda lives in the owl house with Hooty and King.
The Blight siblings are the group from Xing, because Odalia wants them to be royalty and the xing group compete for the throne of Xing.
I drew Hunter and Willow, while my sister drew Kiki and hand-dragon.
