actually do you know why adam's reaction to jonah's screams being gutwrenching guilt is so important? it's because he's an alternate
and i don't mean it in the sense that "oh he's an alternate so he's not supposed to feel anything in the first place" (though that's ALSO important and worth freaking out over!! because those feelings are FOREIGN to him and the fact that jonah of all people managed to bring them out in him... that means a lot). but also because of the reaction alternates have towards human screaming. they're drawn to it. thrilled at the sound of it. we see it with the hand hallway where adam isn't fazed in the slightest (he's happy even). we see it during vol 2 where the screams coming from the house lure him out because of excitement
so for him to hear the sound of human suffering and feel really bad about it instead of joy? it means everything

just a thing I kinda decided to make on a whim after reminiscing w some friends over some good old fashion horror game fansongs. The song is “Can’t be erased” by JT music. I thought it fit tmc a lot so err.. This wasn’t supposed to be anything big (I spent way more time on it than originally planned) but I’m honestly pretty proud of this so uh yeah!
