You would think [the ball] would fall faster than [the feather], wouldn’t you?
Rosencrantz: My name is Guildenstern and this is Rosencrantz.
Guildenstern: [shakes his head]
Rosencrantz: I’m sorry. His name is Guildenstern and I’m Rosencrantz.
anyways, Guildenstern’s earring is actually a wedding ring and Rosencrantz wears a matching one on his hand. thank you and goodnight
Rosencrantz & Guildenstern Are Dead (1990), dir. Tom Stoppard
Rosencrantz: Guil, why don't you ask how do I feel?
Guildenstern: Ros, how do you feel?
Rosencrantz: Oh, better don't ask.

Tim Roth
Okay this is the whole reason I’m making this post. I saw Rosencrantz and Guildenstern recently and I thought, “Hey, these guys are both older now. Like, in their late 50s, early 60s. I think they could do a fabulous Didi and Gogo sometime this decade.” Obviously as the more serious of the two in R&G, I put him in the role of Didi, since Didi always seemed like the smarter and sterner of the two, just like Guildenstern was.
Estragon
Gary Oldman
Again, I saw R&GAD and literally said, “I want Gary Oldman and Tim Roth to reprise their roles of Dumbass #1 and Dumbass #2 now that they’re older.” I think it would be good for nostalgia’s sake, for posterity, and to show how they’ve grown as actors and as people.
Pozzo
Stephen Fry
The first time I read this, for some reason, this dude gave off incredible Stephen Fry energy. I don’t even know really.
Lucky
Hugh Laurie
I didn’t really have anyone in mind for this part, but as soon as I decided Pozzo was Fry, I was like, “You know what would be really funny?”
Boy
Noah Jupe
Literally just googled “child actors 2020″ and got this kid. I don’t think I’ve seen him in anything but he looks about the right age, I suppose.
