hybrid human petting zoos are rare, but not unheard of. most petting zoos have bunny boys and girls, sheep boys and girls, goat boys and girls, and just about any other common, small, and harmless farm animal that you would see at a normal petting zoo. however, the petting zoo you volunteered at had the most beautiful bull boy you have ever seen.

his name is ushijima, he has shiny brown hair, olive green eyes, and dull little horns on the top of his head just north of his floppy ears bearing a purple ear-tag. ushijima is incredible with the children, parents, and the few teenagers who come to the petting zoo. bending down from his towering height so they can pet his head and touch his horns. he takes the carrots and other fresh vegetables offered to him with the upmost caution, as to not nip any small fingers. ushijima even has some soft conversations with some children who ask him what it’s like to be so tall or if his horns ever get in the way. he has always been so gentle, an absolute sweetheart. ushijima was also rather fond of you. always rubbing his head on your hands or body, a content smile spreading across his face when you finally pet him. that’s why your heart broke when you heard the news about the petting zoo.
