Some people need to understand that love is not constant affirmation of everything someone does and says. It’s not always saying yes to anything and everything.

Sometimes love is saying no.

Sometimes love is letting people know they are wrong.

Sometimes love is correcting people.

Affirmation is not synonymous with love. You’re not loving someone by supporting and affirming harmful and destructive ideas and behaviors even though it might make them feel good in the moment.
