Ok, Donald Trump's Indicted... Now What?

So Mainstream Media & their Democratic Shills R celebrating the 37 Count Indictment against Donald Trump- R they being premature? What exactly R the odds of Donald Trump getting convicted of a Felony Act, let alone dozens? Government & Mainstream Media have been busy keeping The Masses 'Emotional' over the last 20Yrs; all the while, giving up Our Freedom as Citizens for empty promises of Security. This fearfulness has led to an American Society where there are more incidents of Mass Shootings & Mass Killings, than Days of The Year.

This fearfulness has also been weaponized to cause the equivalent of Human Stampedes over Non- Issues, like The Debt Ceiling & Donald Trump. America was NEVER going to default on Its debts; the unnecessary game of Chicken was a waste of Time. The Issue of Donald Trump is an ongoing Saga. Democrats have used Trump to scare their voters to The Polls, but Dems haven't offered a viable alternative. Joe Biden has created hundreds of thousands of (Part Time) Jobs that still don't pay The Bills. His Administration has fostered a steady rise in The Cost Of Living, but Mainstream Media's attention is focused on Donald Trump.

For The Record, I don't see Donald Trump getting convicted. He may finagle a continuance that allows him to campaign throughout the 2024 Election Cycle, but I don't know if he will need to go that far. People are so quick to put Trump in Leg Irons, that they forget the precedent ANY CONVICTION of Donald Trump will set. If American Courts see fit to convict a former President, what will stop The World Court from going after American Politicians, Diplomats, & their Aides for an assortment of War Crimes? Afrikan Governments are expressing frustration over watching their Leaders Tried, Convicted, & Imprisoned, while European & American Leaders commit atrocities, yet remain free.

Lindsey Graham's tone towards George Stephanopoulos on 'This Week' may have been a Tell of sorts. Despite obvious bad behavior by Donald Trump, Republicans appear to be Circling The Wagons around him. Chris Christie, John Bolton, & Bill Bar are getting their 'shots' in, but they also sound like they're hedging their Bet. Does anyone believe that Trump could serve Decades in Prison? In a Case tried by a Judge that he appointed? I feel like saying 'The Fix is In', is an overstatement... I have more concern for his former White House Valet & current Personal Assistant, Walt Nauta.

Mr. Nauta is reportedly seen On Camera moving boxes to Donald Trump's Residence from a storage room, during the same period that The National Archives requested the Presidential material. When asked, Mr Nauta denied moving the boxes. His Indictment may be more worrisome. Donald Trump is keeping Walt Nauta close for now, but Michael Cohen can attest to the length of Donald Trump's Loyalty... Walt would be wise to keep a couple dollars stashed for his own Attorney.

Putting Byron Donalds' comments in perspective

Putting Byron Donalds' Comments In Perspective

I have listened to Rep. Byron Donalds' comments regarding 'Jim Crow' & I don't get all the furor surrounding them. I heard the Man speak about MARRIAGE RATES being higher during the Jim Crow Era than it is Today. He also said that the rise in Black Marriages in recent Years, is a good thing for Our Children & the prospect of building Generational Wealth. I'm not a Republican, but I acknowledge that Black American Culture has traditionally been Socially Liberal & Morally Conservative. Black Americans were predominantly Republican during The Jim Crow Era, but I don't know if it means that Blackfolk were 'Conservative'. If We're being honest, Most of Our Family weren't allowed to Vote. I assume Rep Donalds means 'Family Values' were more conservative, & he would B correct. Black Households w/ both parents tend to B more conservative than Single Parent Households.

I find House Minority Leader, Hakeem Jeffries & Democratic National Committee (DNC) Chair, Jaime Harrison disingenuous w/ their comments implying Rep. Donalds' said that Black America was BETTER OFF under Jim Crow. I didn't hear him say that in his comments. I understand the politics behind their statements; Rep. Donalds is among Donald Trump's considerations for Vice President. His comments can legitimately B seen as an effort to gain favor w/ Trump, in regard to attracting Black Voters. That said, Hakeem Jeffries should spend more time on his Brooklyn Constituents & less time on political muckraking. For The Record, i'm NOT a Fan of Byron Donalds. I disagree w/ him more than I agree. That said, I can understand what he was trying to say. If Democrats were saying: Rep. Donalds is implying that as the Black Marriage Rate rises, We can expect more of them to turn to the GOP- They would have a legitimate argument.

As bad as Hakeem Jeffries & Jaime Harrison were in twisting The Narrative, Joy Reid & Abby Phillips took it further. Both acknowledged that Rep. Donalds didn't say Blackfolk were 'better off' during Jim Crow, but both used their platform to create nonsensical scenarios. Joy Reid accused Byron Donalds of implying that Jim Crow was a 'Golden Era' for Black Americans, & she questioned Black Men of the Jim Crow Era's ability to protect their Families. She cited a 1943 Florida Case (Willie Howard) where a lynch mob forced a Man to watch his son drown at gun point. I found her scenario Off Topic, Callous, & COMPLETELY in Bad Taste; especially coming from someone who doesn't have a Family History of experiencing Jim Crow. Abby Phillips implied Rep. Donalds was referring to a Nostalgic Period when Black America voted Conservatively. I could go along w/ Abby's narrative more, if she allowed Rep Donalds to fully explain his position. Both she & Joy Reid spoke over him & didn't really give him a chance to make his argument.

What bothers me the most about this Whole Thing, is how simple minded Democrats & their Shills think the Black American Collective are. They purposely twisted Byron Donalds' comments w/ the intent of gaslighting Us into rejecting a 'Black Republican' & his obvious Agenda. Rep. Donalds has made some pretty outlandish & Simp Worthy comments, so he doesn't really need their help. On top of that, Black Americans posess Reading Comprehension; We know how to draw Our own conclusions & don't require spoon feeding by Democrats & their Shills. The ongoing effort by Dems to tell Blackfolk How to Think Politically is beyond insulting. Black America is NOT a Monolith; among Us are Democrats, Republicans, Independents, Libertarians, Progressives, Conservatives, Socialists, & Non Party Affiliates. We have multiple ideologies, but We can ALL 'Agree to Disagree', & coalesce around Core Issues that are important to Us as a Collective.

The 'All Lives Matter' conversation about American Marriage Rates & Family Structure over the decades is very true, but Rep. Donalds was speaking to Blackfolk in Philly about the Black American Dynamic. Abby Phillips & Joy Reid's insertion of Everyone Else comes across like a diversion away from yet another Black Specific Issue. The focus on the horrors of Jim Crow only, & not on the fact that Black Marriage Rates actually were higher before 1968, is pure politics. The effect of LBJ's 'Great Society' on Black Families can B debated, but NO ONE can deny that Democratic Policies over the last 50Yrs have done more harm to Us than good. Once thriving Black Communities are being gentrified on a Nationwide scale. Black Home Ownership is back down to 1968 levels. Blackfolk are politically mature enough to listen to All Sides of an Argument & draw Our Own conclusion.

We don't have to agree w/ Byron Donalds' Politics to acknowledge the fact that the Black Marriage Rate fell dramatically after 1968. His fatal error, was obviously referring to the Jim Crow Era BY NAME; as a Timeline for comparison of Black Marriage Percentages. In retrospect, I think that he would just give the Years in question.

The 2024 Presidential Debate: Time for New Blood?

The 2024 Presidential Debate: Time For New Blood?

In a word, The 1st Presidential Debate of 2024 was BRUTAL! Both Candidates took personal shots at each other; but Joe Biden- to his Credit, offered more Substance than Donald Trump. Trump avoided questions on rising Child Care Costs, Drug Overdoses, & Israel's 'War On Gaza' to name a few, but Biden wasn't able to capitalize on his lack of Policy Measures. Joe Biden came across as 'Too Old for Primetime', & appeared to be regurgitating Talking Points more than confidently articulating his Agenda for the next 4 Years. Donald Trump rambled on & embellished the truth for most of The Debate, instead of answering questions directly. BOTH had moments where they were less than honest. Trump focused on Biden's Job Performance more than articulating his Own Agenda for the next 4 Years. Joe Biden seemed more cognizant AFTER The Debate, than during it.

Donald Trump- to his Credit, was more reserved than he was in the 2020 Presidential Debates. Ironically, it was Joe Biden who initiated the insults, but Trump apparently didn't take The Bait. BOTH performances were subpar for a Presidential Candidate; I understand why Robert Kennedy Jr. was kept off that Debate Stage. NEITHER Candidate offered a Real Solution to Black Specific Issues. Instead, Both pivoted to the Reliable Standard of including 'Hispanics' & 'Minorities' into the Black American conversation. Donald Trump commented that Illegal Immigrants were stealing 'Black Jobs'. Mainstream Media & some Blackfolk were insulted by the statement, but Black Men have been literally pushed out of Union Jobs; particularly in the Field of Construction, in favor of Immigrants. People seem to forget that Black Men have traditionally been Blue Collar Workers. Trump is a virtual King of 'Off Color Comments', but many of Us understood what he was trying to say.

From a Black Perspective, the pivot away from Black Specific Issues speaks volumes about BOTH Party Agendas. Most Black Americans can't afford HBCU Tuitions, so funding them is a Moot Point to Us. Offering Black Students Free or Lower Tuition to State Universities would make more sense. Joe Biden offered a $10K Tax Credit to Black 1st Time Home Buyers, but didn't elaborate on it. He appeared strongest on the topic of Abortion, but allowed Trump to flummox him on the topic; particularly Late Term Abortions. Donald Trump appeared strongest on the issue of Immigration & put Biden on the spot several times, but didn't offer a Specific Agenda on how he will tackle it. Trump also lacked a Policy for lowering Inflation, other than extending his Tax Cuts to Corporations. Joe Biden's Economic Plan, is the continuation of 'Bidenomics'- A Plan that many are already concerned about.

Political Analysts & Pundits covering the Debate were quick to point out Joe Biden's performance. Most felt that he missed several opportunities to catch Donald Trump in blatant lies; they also questioned his Physical & Mental Fitness. He was supposed to reassure his Base that he had the Strength & Mental Competence to Serve another 4 Years, but critics are questioning his ability to finish the 1st Term of Office. Several Democratic Strategists called Biden "feeble & weak". Joy Reid said that Dems she spoke w/ are bordering on 'panic'. Rumors are spreading of a possible intervention asking him to step down, but it might be too late to change Candidates. CNN was accused of Stacking the Deck in favor of Joe Biden, but Trump appeared comfortable w/ the format. Both Moderators allowed Donald Trump to embellish w/o fact checking him; was that their job, or Biden's to do?

Democrats are calling Joe Biden's performance 'A Bad Night' (citing a Cold & scratchy throat), while the GOP applauds Donald Trump for 'Doing what he had to do'. I thought that BOTH Candidates were mediocre. Trump is being congratulated for Side Stepping questions & presenting a Vision of Smoke & Mirrors. Biden took a week off to prepare, but instead of repeating his State Of The Union Address performance, he stumbled through most of the Debate. Mainstream Media tried to predict This Debate would rival the Kennedy vs Nixon Debate of 1960, but it wasn't even close. The best dialogue between the Candidates, was about their Golfing Handicaps. America deserves a President that will move Us forward, but We have 2 'Old Dudes' caught up in their Own Egocentricity.

Donald Trump admitted that he's only running again, because he didn't see a GOP Candidate that could defeat Joe Biden. There are GOP Moderates out there that Republican Leadership & Voters could legitimately support. A few might even sway Independents, Libertarians, & disaffected Democrats; but grassroot support for the 'MAGA Agenda' has silenced most, out of fear of being labeled 'RINO'... I thought that This 'Pre Baby Boomer' Generation was willing to pass the baton when Barack Obama was Elected, but it seems like they've Doubled Down since he left Office. We currently have a Congress run by folks adamant about holding Power until it's pried from their Cold Dead Hands. The World Dynamic is changing & America needs to adapt. The Era of 'Neo Conservatives' & 'Neo Liberals' has run its Course- BOTH allowed the development of a Plutocratic Billionaire Class that has literally choked the Middle Class.

The Future Generations of American Society are NOT expected to outperform the previous Generations. Gen. Z in particular, is DROWNING before They can even Start; but Our 'Elder States[Wo]Men' don't seem fazed by This. They ALL seem content w/ taking The Country Down w/ them.

-It's TIME for New Blood!
