i saw so many keffiyahs on campus today. it served as an exhausting reminder that not a single day is left for jews to grieve. the mourning of israelis is a deeply politicized act. it shouldn’t be. it shouldn’t be and i’m so tired. i’m going to a memorial and had to get the address from an organizer because they can’t safely publish it.

there was a vigil for palestinian victims scheduled for this evening as well
planned as part of a “week of action”
marking ”1 year of resistance”
my uni canceled it and asked them to reschedule
citing safety concerns
it did not escape my notice that the memorial and the vigil were scheduled on the same side of campus
within a couple hours of each other.
the organizers are claiming that this is
“the first of many actions to repress student activism”
and are encouraging students to ”question our universities complicity in genocide”
it’s all just so. so tiring. and it makes me angry.
