any continuation hinges on whether they're taking the "cas helped" at face value as "he's out of the empty and alive". the winchesters not showing cas with bobby and jack was pretty glaring and imo the right choice as it left room for chuck won theories to prevail and suggest that cas really ISN'T in heaven. plus jack dressed in a chuck-coded white blazer and acting a little off gives me hope that they'll lean into the chuck won theory or at the very least that the "god-power" is messing with jack and slowly corrupting him. like a lot of people always bring up "how will they undo the finale? they're dead. sam grew old and lived his whole life, if they bust out of heaven and go back to earth so many yrs will have passed" and well, first of all, this is supernatural. crazy shit happens. they could bust out of heaven and then time-travel, who knows! but, the simplest solution imo is, fake-heaven isn't real. it's a container for chuck!jack to keep his toys so they don't go messing with anything anymore (except, well, that didn't work out so well, dean already busted out once to save the multiverse. likely will happen again). and then sam on earth? another illusion. a pocket universe or a djinn dream-like state. not much time has passed at all, that's why sam looks young when he meets dean in heaven. like, sam presumably cuts ties with everyone he ever knew. marries some blurry wife. his whole life passes in montage, it would be so easy to say none of that was real. just something to keep sam occupied and placated so he doesn't go poking into things and realizing Something's Not Right.
gaslighting all of you (and myself) into thinking this was the real spn finale, where the fam and wayward sisters go to the beach and have a good ol time (i am never gonna finish these so i might as well post them on this special day)

ID: Dean, Castiel, Jack, Sam, and Eileen standing in a line against a damask-papered wall in the stylings of one of those haunted house photos, reacting to a scare offscreen. Dean is hunched over at the back of the line and screaming open-mouthed, both hands gripping onto the back of Cas’s trenchcoat like reigns. Cas has lurched forward, coat stretching out behind him in Dean’s grip, instinctively putting two arms protectively around his son. His right hand is in front of Jack, turning him away from the scare, and the other is cupping the back of their head as if to tuck them under his chin. Cas’s mouth is pressed shut but his eyes are wide and startled. Jack looks surprised and fascinated, the right string of their hoodie falling out of his mouth as he stares at the scare offscreen. They are half turned away from the scare at Cas’s nudging, right hand resting on Sam’s arm in front of them and left holding his left hoodie string in a fist. Sam is screaming open-mouthed, shoulders pulled up to his ears as he straightens to his full height like a startled cat. He is holding onto Eileen in front of him with both arms, clutching his own hand just under her chest and squishing her tightly to him in fright. Eileen, obviously having not heard the audio cue that scared the rest of them, looks confused and a little irritated, hands covering Sam’s over her torso. She is startled only by Sam’s sudden bear hug as his jump launches her own breasts up toward her chin. /end ID
Here’s my rendition of Zachariah’s true form! He’s one of my favourite antagonists on the show so I wanted to make sure I did something for him.
There was one thing I couldn’t really make evident but Zachariah’s heads are supposed to rotate, which is why they seem detached.
