Tanjiro deals with demons just like his dad handled the bear. You can really see Tanjuro's influence on him throughout the series.

They both face their enemies head-on and bravely, no matter what shape they're in. Just like Tanjuro feels bad for the hungry bear, Tanjiro feels for the suffering demons. But even with that sympathy, they don’t hesitate in taking down the aggressors. They don’t like using violence and it's not their first choice, but they will if it means keeping others safe.

My latest addition to the Pocket World lineup, Infinite Arc! This piece can be viewed right-side up or upside-down! Enjoy fun times with all the demon slayers hanging out at the Ubuyashiki manor, or flip it and check out what Muzan's been up to with all his demon lackeys.

Which side do you prefer? Slayers or Demons?

I'm very proud of this piece and hope you all enjoy it too.

I Really Love This Detail Of Tanjiro Asking For Kyogai's Name, Which Doesn't Happen In The Manga. It

I really love this detail of Tanjiro asking for Kyogai's name, which doesn't happen in the manga. It ties into Kyogai's core desire really well.

Kyogai never wanted to be the greatest, or thought he was particularly. He had a limit to his ability, but everybody does. It was his fatal flaw that he placed his self-worth in the hands of others, even if they are toxic, like Muzan and the man in his flashback were among them. For whatever reason, possibly from being browbeaten for so long (by the man), Kyogai simply could not believe in himself without approval, and he threw away the last shred of his humanity to get it.

Kyogai, deep down, wanted his personal achievements to be recognised for what they were, rather than what they could be in the minds of sadistic editors or genocidal demon lords. They may not have been the greatest, but they were skills that had been honed by hard work and sheer willpower (Kyogai was almost certainly a demon at the time when he killed the man in his flashback - he was still trying to please this guy!), and the results were far better than either of the above would give credit for (his demon art, at least).

Tanjiro asking for his name compounds Kyogai's greatest desire - to be valued as an individual. It stumps him, because it's the last thing he expected. And no wonder - in the flashback, the man exclusively refers to Kyogai as 'you', like he's so unworthy even his name is beneath acknowledgement.

That's why it feels so much more personal and heavy when Tanjiro praises his demon art later, telling him 'Kyogai, this thing you worked hard at is really amazing'.

we were denied of a kny beach episode 😔😞 /hj

I would've wanted to see the kamaboko squad having a contest on who can build the best sand castle (rip everyone but kanao and genya made the best ones) inosuke's is just literally a huge pile of sand and some sticks he found but he's so proud of it that they awarded him first place bc it's the right thing to do. Mui is the judge, let him be a silly child who sasses everyone's works but tanjirou's

mitsuri, obanai, rengoku and tengen having a beach soccer tournament; shinobu, aoi and the butterfly mansion girlies are the ones who keeps track of the scores (and is there mainly to make sure nobody dies of stupidity)

gyomei literally has hoards of cats under his clothes but nobody says a thing because he's having fun and that's what matters

giyuu chilling on a corner until sanemi pulls on his hand while saying, "stop bumming everyone out and have fun with us" so they join the soccer tournament for fun and it gets intense that they all break the poor ball

then everyone jumps in to swim

suddenly, tengen's three wives, makio, suma and hinatsuru arrive to serve more food to everyone

gotou and murata are there too, focused on grilling fish and meat while both take interest on the sweets

okay you know what, let's include the moons but at night time

akaza will bury douma on the sand, with only his head visible and douma is happy to finally get noticed by akaza, not knowing akaza intended for him to be there until morning because of the absurd amounts of stones keeping him there. hantengu even asks him if he's fine there and douma is just chilling and happy. It took all of akaza's resistance to not kick douma's head off multiple times

gyokko gathering seashells and making an insane "art" that's too terrible that daki would've insulted it if gyutaro didn't stop her from letting her destructive intrusive thoughts win over the hierarchy

nakime is chilling far away from them and is wishing to not be associated with any of them. like at all.

kaigaku is underwater probably cursing zenitsu or sth

kokushibou is ignored by everyone and sees everything unfold, mumbling, "I see..." And then proceeds to bury himself in the sand with only his six eyes visible on the ground.

muzan curses in a different language when he realized he almost stepped on kokushibou's three pairs of eyes

Choices and willpower are a big part of Demon Slayer. At its core, the entire story is driven by the decisions characters make, as well as their inability to choose. The manga starts with Nezuko choosing not to harm Tanjiro, Tanjiro's decision to protect her, and Giyū's choice to believe in them. These crucial decisions lay the groundwork for everything that follows. As the story unfolds, Tanjiro’s resolve is continually tested and strengthened, and the choices made by each character intricately shape the narrative.

In contrast, demons often lack autonomy. Many are transformed in moments of vulnerability, tricked, or forced into becoming demons. Once transformed, they are manipulated, trapped in eternal darkness, and compelled to consume humans under Muzan’s absolute control.

The story comes to an end with Tanjiro's willpower prevailing over Muzan’s attempt to turn him into the demon king, underlining the importance of free will.
