Spoiler alert: Gisela saying “embrace the change”to Keefe wasn’t actually about anything she’s ever done. She was talking about puberty. Everything since then has been an elaborate prank (the events of Legacy are the elven equivalent of Nickelodeon sliming someone). Keefe suffers from puberty and the placebo effect.
just finished Stellarlune, will be getting my actual review out once I get my thoughts together but I feel like there are things I need to address
Keefe should have been hiding longer, or have gone back to the human world
Maruca was a fun character this go around
Stina still hasn’t grown on me
I legitimately cringed for entire chapters while reading
Ro kinda annoyed me but was pretty good overall(works better in small doses) also she just….disappeared?
Glimmer was fine, annoyed me but I think she’s a character we needed
Tiergan and Prentice, don’t think I didn’t notice that, it’ll probably never happen but who knows
Wylie has been a favorite since Neverseen and did not disappoint, especially with that memory scene
those cache chapters were kinda hard to get through
Fitz had a lot of emotional maturity so good for him
Jensi got to be a character yay!!
Dex got to be a relevant character for a bit, yay!
The climax underwhelmed me but definitely had good twists
ending twist has given me theories
chapter 42 and what came out of it can burn in whatever place of torment you believe in

Tbh, im more of a team foster-keefe fan. I will say, im ready for fitz and sophie to be the most powerful duo ever

Originally, the plan was to edit in Dex’s head, but once I saw Maruca and Marella were on the next cover, I couldn’t resist adding our hydrokinetic queen instead.

Linh’s head and the clasps are from the art by Michael Machira Mwangi that goes along with her short.
(the change in Marella’s cape is due to Sophie’s hair not being there to block the bottom, and my indecision over whether to draw the rest of the cape or send it off into the void. Looking at the original picture, I’m leaning towards the void option, but I ain’t got time or patience enough to figure out how to do that, so weird folds it is)

I think Alden is a/the leak. I mean think about it his wife and kids are in the black swan and all of them trust him a lot, most likely they’ve let a couple important things slip. He’s one of the councils most trusted emissary’s ( or at least he was I forget if he still is). He’s a telepath if his wife and kids won’t tell him something he could easily slip into their minds and find what he wants.

I have this theory that at the end of the books Sophie is just going to become the councilors keepers and just basically be their little mega cache and that she will become the ~keeper of the lost cities~( I can’t figure out how to make it in italics on my phone😞)

my powers out right now so i’m re-reading stellarlune but it really makes me miss that hot minute where sophie and stina like were civil and almost friends( i just want to add this in bc like i think it’s funny but i found 6 dollars in my book)
