" they smile and their other hand reaches out, fingers gently stroking the top of its head. as it moves onto their hand, soryn holds it close against their chest.

" we must find your owner, hm? it would not be good to— " they hear footsteps ascending the stairs now and glance over the railing as the person comes within view. " ah, this just might be your owner now. is it yours? the poor little thing was just sitting there on my doorstep.
