i love the way as time went on we could see the gradual progression of their feelings for each other, especially hobi’s. i loved the way the reader basically maintained “we’re a hookup” mindset until almost the very end, it’s was the perfect build up to the “when did we start dating?” I never read a fic that details the act of “suddenly”finding yourself in a relationship together so well. I imagine from hobi’s perpective he would have started feeling something different from about the beginning junior year. he started being like this is the perfect hookup and then being like oh no i don’t want to be a hookups anymore but she thinks we are :/ (when your fuckboy tendencies come back to bite you in the ass), so he just shows his care through his actions and ends up finding a place in her life until she has her big a-ha moment. so beautifully written, i love this so much
