Another Smaugust piece from last year. Started as lettering practice and ended up, uh. slightly hornier than I intended

(but only slightly)

I forgot about this Smaugust piece!

I have neither defense nor explanation.

Smaugust 2021

Hi, i am doing Smaugust this year, although i did start late due to forgetting it existed, and i will be posting the dragons i draw for it!

Do keep in mind that i actually have done multiple dragons per day, rather than one per day, due to loving the theme so much. 

The theme, other than dragons, or goal, is to turn my original characters and fave characters into dragons! So basically, i probably will be adding a picture of them in their normal form if i haven't posted one of them before. 

If i have posted an original form before, like for example, Alistair, all you have to do is click on the tag and you can see the other drawings of them. 

Anyway, i will also be posting several pieces of information about each dragon, whether it be simple like a character sheet, or even something that could be found in an explorer’s log as they explore the mythological au land that these dragon characters exist. 

Some of the descriptions are not sorted out, so some of the explorer description paragraphs could be mixed randomly in the “character sheet” paragraphs. Sorry... sometimes i am not paying attention while i write some things. 

If i know how i want to write i sentence, quite often i write it, without taking into account what or how i wrote the previous one... heh... 

Here is my first installment of Smaugust!

Well, technically, he fits that AU and the same universe, but i did draw this particular picture’s linework like a year and a half ago. But since he IS a “dragon” version of Alistair, one of my most personal OCs, i figured he would count. 

I did add his head in fresh, so that should count for something!

Anyway...

As you know, this is Alistair, and like his typical other form, his dragon form is based off of a centipede/millipede/human hybrid. 

He is one of the rare dragons in this universe that’s base form is more like a centaur version of the full dragon species, rather that of a human-esque dragon. 

Literally, this is Al with a very pudgy centipede/millipede dragon lower body and dragon wings. 

These kinds of dragons are very rare in the (Mythological AU world that doesn't have a name yet), although he isnt the only one. 

Most of the other dragons who look human just have some strong resemblances to humans, but with Al, his top half is basically just a typical flesh and blood human. (If you ignore his abilities). 

His breath element are bugs. Mostly centipede/millipedes, kinda like the villain from the 2nd movie of Jumanji, but instead of a scorpion, its centipedes and Millipedes. 

This is also somewhat similar to the Zachariah Walker dragon, although with Walker, the insects that are there are from the supposed self decomposition and healing cycle, and not there because he ‘magically’ coughs them out of his body from out of nowhere.

I do apologize if i am unable to put the hands in some of these drawings. Most of the time, when there is a missing limb, it is due to not wanting to block an important bit of the other parts of the dragons design. 

If the dragon/design IS missing a limb, i will mention it in the description.

Name: Malitarr

V: B1

Dragon specie type : Tarr

Appearance mix: Humatarr/Dragon

Specific appearance: His face shape is kind of like a stereotypical western dragon. The scales on his body/torso are inspired off of the scales on Smaug from the animated movie of the Hobbit. His body is dripping with thick black and rainbow goop, which is different than the typical “slimy” texture of some of my other dragons. His horns are dripping, his neck is dripping. His stomach mouth’s lips are reminiscent of the mouth from Audrey 2, from Little Shop of Horrors. (Live action movie). He is buffer in this form, compared to his 2nd form. I drew him with his neck outstretched, meaning, that if he was more relaxed, he would have a shorter neck, and this is the reason why he has a weird hole at the base of his neck.

Breath element : Tarr goop. Although you can just consider it actually coming from his face, kind of like someone blowing a bubble, rather than it coming down from his gullet and from an organ on the inside of his body.

Other notes: He leaves goop behind him… he probably can fly, but it could be a little awkward.

Dragon specie type: Tarr

Appearance Mix: Humatarr/Dragon

Specific appearance: He is much rounder in this form, his horns are shorter, his hair is… well… I’ll get to that. His face is rounder, and cuter by comparison, rather than intimidating and scary all, if not most of the time.

His hair and the hair swoop that he had in his “human” form, is emulated with a thicker and shaped “scale” on the top and back of his head. It is black and shiny, but void of all of the rainbow swirls that most of the rest of his body has. If you look at him from the back, he has these thick black gummylike scales down his “spine”, but as it reaches his literal head, the less and less rainbow swirlage you’ll see in them.

Breath element: Same as first book counterpart.

Other notes: Same as first book counterpart, although it would be unlikely that he could be able to fly with his new body weight.

The reason why i am posting multiple Smaugust drawings from the past is because i did draw them on the correct days, but i was unable to have access to digital drawing, so i am just posting my backlog. 

Name: TUO

Dragon specie type: Evil

Appearance mix: Scorpion, Chinese Dragon, rat

Specific appearance: Dragon TUO is a rare one. His face/skull is roughly shaped like a classic cartoonish rat, rather than the typical reptile. His horns are one of the most bizarre of horn shapes from all other dragons. They are based on one side of the head, curling around to the other side, resembling the hair swoop of his “human” counterpart. His body is long and sleek, like a Chinese Dragon, and he has a scorpion tail. Along his back, his back spines, look and act like the legs of scorpion legs/limbs.

Breath element: Dark scorpion transformative magic. (I wanted him to have something, but i really couldn't think of anything, so i just put something random here for now). 

Other notes: He has the same abilities as his Draconaquis form. He can eat victims with his scorpion tail, and the toxins inside of his body would do either different things depending on the genetic makeup of the victim’s body, (if he didn’t eat them with a specific purpose), or transformative ability, turning them into something else. Usually something that he could keep track of to keep them as victims forever.

Name: Me – Cassidy

Dragon specie type: Chimera/Portal

Appearance mix: A snake, a Chinese dragon, a cat, and a ferret.

Specific appearance: The head, body, and eyes are that of a Chinese dragon. The face/muzzle is that of a slightly rounder snake. I have the mane of a Chinese dragon in the color of my natural hair color, which is brown. I have cat or ferret ears. My body is long like a Chinese Dragon, but my arms, legs, hands, and feet look like that of a ferret. Not sure if I have multiple limbs, but I have the tail of a ferret as well.

Breath Element: I can breath portals. Kind of like the portal gun from the Portal franchise, but not specifically like from between two points in the same room. I don’t have to be able to see where I am going, I just need to know where I want to go. If I am just trying to get away from an enemy, I could also teleport myself mostly to a random area, but although it could/would get me away from THAT enemy, it could also put me into danger of a different enemy.

Other notes: I am very shy, cute, and nervous. I have the same relationship with Brian, TUO, and Alistair. Like all other dragons here, I can transform into my human form if I wanted to. And like TUO and Brian, I am capable of turning into a form that is half human form and half dragon.

Name: Zachariah Walker

Dragon specie type: Undead Zombie King

Appearance mix: Walker’s 2nd zombie form, Walker’s mutant form, Walker’s mold zombie form, Walker’s body gained form.

Specific Appearance/Explorer’s log: One of the more disturbing and gross, (although strangely vibrant and dramatic), dragons i have come across. 

His face is sort of more like a Chinese dragon, with what seems like makeup around his eyes, and lipstick on his lips. His lips do not resemble that of a scaled, reptilian creature, but that more of a human. 

His front teeth share the lip’s resemblance to a human’s, but the rest of his teeth are very fanglike and need a very good wash. They are yellowing and seem to be dripping with the disgusting element that the dragon is able to breathe, which I am going to cover upon later. 

I cannot tell whether his body is overweight just mostly in the stomach region, or is bloated due to the strong stench of decomposition that comes from him. 

In his gut area, I notice holes, fleshy holes. I have observed him eating victims while they are still alive, and those victims are regurgitated out from these holes as zombified versions of those individuals.

This dragon doesn’t have an official tail, but instead he has a generously large sized gash where his intestines would be from the back, and the intestines are spilling out from that gash, and are dragged behind him as if they were tails.

He can somehow control these “tails” as if they are extra limbs, and even mouths. He can use them to consume much larger creatures than his mouth/throat can get down. The smell and noises from these events are ungodly.

The creature’s hands are oddly humanlike, but the finger bones are far too long and thin to be fully human. They are more like chopsticks, in length, and although he doesn’t have fingernails or claws in the fingernail sense of the word, (as in Chariton, or however you spell it... never won a spelling bee in my schooling years), these are clearly his species’ form of claws.  

Breath element: One of the elements that this dragon is able to breathe is something more like absolute disgustingness in a white/grey chunky, pukelike, muck. The stuff isnt that of fire, or anything else like it, but rather sludge that if it came into contact with most individuals, creatures, or plants, it would either kill them, or turn them into a zombie version of that creature. The only people/creatures that I have seen this not effect is Brian, TUO, Cassidy, and Alistair.

Scattered in the gunk, often, are insects and maggots, which is another clue that his body is infinitely decomposing itself and then healing itself.

This gunk is extremely sticky, and sometimes, I have observed this dragon ‘bird-feeding’ its victims this stuff, (and I think you know what I mean when I say bird feeding), and to the point that if the victim ate anything else, they would have exploded from the inside and died. This is extremely bad, not just because of the action, and the pain, but because typically, with most victims, one tiny bit will turn someone into a zombie, only imagine how bad it would mutate someone if they will inflated to the near point of bust with it.

Another thing it can breathe, is what looks like black mold. But it is much more complex than just the stuff that is spread like a parasite, but what a parasite the stuff is. This mold can be the controlled by the dragon, following and stalking prey, and once the mold gets to the intended victim, it swarms/cocoons the victim like a second skin, forcing the victim to “walk themselves” back to the lair of the monstrous creature, so the dragon can continue to torment the victim further.  

Other notes: Like Spiritomb, he will amuse being bartered with, to spare ones life, however, NEVER ever accept this, even if your life depends on it. 9 and a half times out of ten, he will either cheat to win, or even if you DO win, he will eat you, or torment you, or take what he wanted from you anyway. So, its basically death, or terrible loss… or… death and terrible loss. -_- He is basically also called the Asshole dragon… *sigh*.

Art notes: I was unable to fit his full body into the shot as i was also unable to shrink his head down without losing several important elements in his design. 

In drawing/coloring the small diagram of his body in the upper left hand corner of the canvas, i realized that it would be interesting to have the story on why it is colored with only flat colors is that the explorer needed to get out of the area quickly, as Dragon Walker began to suspect his presence.

Name: Caesar

Dragon specie type: Nightmare King

Appearance mix: Caesar Nightmare form, Caesar 's human form.

Specific Appearance mix: His face is the most bizarre face of all dragons I have encountered. 

Instead of him having mostly a muzzle, he seems to have more of a human like face, but more like he is wearing a mask with over exaggerated features, the ‘rosy’ but pale cheeks, the teeth are seemed to be set inside of a void. His eyes look like what is on the face is a mask, covering its real appearance. 

His body is covered with human like eyes, the locations of the eyes seem to be forever shifting, opening, and closing, coming in and out of existence. Making my hiding spot quickly located even though the beast was facing away from me.

The dragon has multiple mouths as well. One on its chest, one on its neck, and one right above his head, floating in between its/his horns, not counting the one that is rightfully on its face. 

At the end of his tail, is what looks like a human hand.

The only NORMAL part of him that I can observe, seems to be his wings, which are just like typical reptile dragon wings.  

Breath element: Nightmares.

Other notes: He is clearly that of a royal of his species. 

He can create portals to what is known to be its home realm, or known by the people in this dragon filled land, as the nightmare realm. 

He seems to be the devourer of dreams, leaving those he feeds from with horrendous nightmares. Despite this, and his terrifying appearance, he mostly does his evil deeds due to loving fun, and with a very low consciousness or care for whether or not he truly hurts those to get what he wants. He doesn’t seem to be doing anything with the true intention of destroying and hurting others, but he clearly needs to practice on empathy. 

He is strangely good with children. 

He is also seeming to be ageless, as he has explained to me how he has lived through both world wars, ancient Egypt and even ancient China and Japan. 

The Puppet

Dragon Specie type: ?

Appearance mix: A mysterious dark figure with a cloth on his head/face.

Specific appearance mix: Basically, it’s just a dragon counterpart directly based off of his “human” counterpart. (Basically a humanoid male with a dark purple suit, a cloth with two eyes patterned on it, and a top hat. Kind of looks like he would ride a horse though).

I don’t even know if his “human” counterpart IS human in the first place. He could have once been human, but he isnt human anymore. If you are chosen as TUO’s Harbinger, TUO would definitely modify you to the point that you are no longer human… I don’t know whats under the cloth yet. 

His dragon counterpart has several knots in his design that resemble tree knots.

He has a weird mouth in his neck, but it is unknown if its just a weird film with overgrown scales that grow outwards, or if it is literally something that can ingest things. 

His teeth mostly grow outwards, rather than inside of its lips, in fact, it doesn’t even appear that it HAS lips to speak of. It is a wonder how it can speak fluently.

It always has golden or black chains wrapped around its horns and one necklace around its neck with many baubles. The baubles include simple things like gemstones inset in a golden or silver pendant, a crystal of what is supposedly magical properties, but sometimes, it has been seen/observed to also put body parts onto the pendants as well, such as eyeballs.

Breath Element: Smoke and smog. But smoke and smog that probably would do something to the human victim if they were caught in it, but I don’t know what it would do. I want it to be different than Caesar.

Other notes:

Do note that this is my most recent Smaugust drawing, (8-8-2021), and that there are at least 10 drawings that have been completed between the previous post, (The Puppet Dragon), and this one. I posted this one now because I am so proud of this one, and how I wrote his “origin” story for this mythological AU.

(I will be continuing the drawings from the previous post, (The Puppet), from tomorrow and further on).

Name: The Bogeyman

Specific Dragon type: Bogeyman

Specie mix: Lester/AKA the Bogeyman, the creature that his prosthetics are based off of (Cockroach), and a dragon.

Design notes: I tried, and successfully designed, to make his lower half look like he accidentally caused himself to mutate while trying to heal himself from a near fatal/otherwise fatal damage to his lower half, meaning, it will look kinda gross, also while pushing the cockroach theme.

Origin Story: Lester’s origin story is very similar to his typical/original origin story in my SugarGlider comics, which is where his comic origin is.

But he is also very different than any of the other dragons in this universe.

Rather than being born/hatched as the odd dragon specie that he is, instead, he began as a dark high elf, simply known to elf and human children alike as The Boogeyman/The Bogeyman, as he often broke into houses at night and abduct children who lived there for unknown, but most undoubtfully, nefarious purposes.

Even for a dark high elf, who are/were known to use dark magic in their life styles, a kind of magic that normal high elves typically refuse to touch, Lester/The Boogeyman/Bogeyman, had a kind of magic ability that he could use without the use of amulets, spells, and rituals.

He could somehow hypnotize most people of low magic to do his bidding just by maintaining eye contact for a good period of time, and his most common choice of victim for this was, and still is, children. The reasoning behind this is most likely, but hasn’t been confirmed as of yet, is because no one suspects that the children could have a much more sinister reason to be thieving the things that Lester sends them out to steal for him.

Despite having this unique ability and evil genius level of intelligence, he always had a goal of becoming more powerful, and the only thing he could think of that he would admit is more powerful than he was, was a dragon.

Another thing to note, before anyone forgets, is that he also had a healing spell that worked wonders and never failed. Never had any bad side effects to him either. Or at least, at this point in time.

After a while and plenty of searching through the lands for a spell, amulet, ritual, or something similar to turn him into a dragon, or at least give him the power of one, he finally succeeded.

Now, sometime after this, he made the horrendous decision to annoy and eventually start a fight with SugarGlider’s Dave Dragon, (which I have not designed yet as of posting this), by taunting him, being over confident and too braggy about himself, he was dealt nearly and otherwise fatal damage to his waistline and below.

He tried using his healing ritual again, to heal his wounds, but something about the ritual/item/amulet that turned him into or gave him the powers of a dragon corrupted this healing ritual, causing him to horrifically and painfully mutate into the cockroach mutant boogeyman dragon that he is today.

The reason why this healing ritual was corrupted is because the ritual was specifically made/planned to be used ONLY on pure Dark High Elves, and with Lester turning himself into part dragon, (although artificially), it did not continue to work as intended.

Name: Stewart

Dragon Specie type: Patchwork dragon (PH)

Appearance mix: Voodoo doll, original self’s costume.

Specific appearance mix: His scales/skin are a series of patchworks, made out of what appears to be different types. The only places that i cannot observe any kind of scaling without getting too close are his wings, the tip of his tail and that black string/rope down the back of his spine. 

His teeth are long and thin, resembling stitches when his mouth is closed and torn stitches when his mouth is open.

Breath element: Fear toxins

Other notes: The ring at the end of his tail is pure gold with the texture/thickness of the ring being like titanium. He uses it to lure greedy humans, or humans with simple curiosity, to him with this gold. When the greedy or curious individual tugs or grabs hold on the ring, he will spook them and then go on the hunt for them, chasing them down and then capturing them.

His pupils can glow, or his eye sockets can appear empty. Just because they appear empty, doesn’t mean that he cannot see you.

Can turn 360 degrees with his waist. Still cannot imagine what the kind of underlaying skeleton would look like to allow him to do such a thing. 

Name: “Human” Lickilicki (Meaning that i based the dragon off of my human counterpart to the original pokemon, not directly from the original pokemon)

Dragon specie type: Long tongue dragon

Appearance mix: Human Lickilicki, normal Lickilicki, pudgy dragon.

Specific appearance: He is an overweight and very pudgy dragon. However, he is the cute kind of pudgy, despite being evil. 

He has a tail like that of a normal Lickilicki, just really large to match his size. His belly is a mix of scales and skin with a human skin like texture, however, it is in stripes. 

Similarly to Swalot’s belly pattern/texture, but reversed, meaning that the thicker “plates” are “skin”, and the thin stripes are scales, meaning that they aren’t being squeezed out in grotesque appearance. 

He is mostly normal Lickilicki colored, but the colors have been dulled a bit, with the addition of the colors that are exclusive to his “human” counterpart.

He is one of the rare dragons that have HAIR rather than a fluffy or furry mane. Unlike his brother, he DOES have wings, but he doesn’t have the ability to fly due to his body type.

Breath element: He doesn’t have a magic element to his breath, but he does have a really long tongue, just like his original and “human” counterpart.

Other notes: He is like a frog or toad; he can use his tongue to snag people from far away and eat them.

Do note, that he does have two arms, but i was unable to fit both in due to one being blocking his tail. 

I am also going to provide a picture of the original counterpart to the dragon if i haven't posted one prior. Hence why there is a picture of the “human” Lickilicki underneath the dragon “human” Lickilicki. 

Name: Human Spiritomb

Dragon specie type: Soul Eater

Appearance mix: Human Spiritomb… dragon…

Specific appearance mix: He is an overweight dragon with a face that looks like a dragon counterpart to his “human” counterpart, (of which i have provided a picture of below), his hair has also been worked into the design, which was difficult a bit, but less difficult as it was with Human Slurpuff. 

Color wise, it should be the same dull colors that he had in his “human” counterpart. 

He still has the “cornerstone” in his design, as his stomach and his right eye. 

He also has an interesting “necklace” at the base of his dragon neck and just above his collarbone. The spheres that kind of look like those magic spiritual beads inside of a Japanese or Chinese (I don't know which) necklace that i often observe in mythologically.

Breath Element: I think more it would be that of an ‘inhale’ element, since he still has the ability to eat people, and/or their souls.

Other notes: He traps/stores the souls of victims that he likes into the beads/orbs around the base of his neck, above the collarbones. 

The souls, while in there, will feel physical to the victim themselves, so.. they feel physical pressure around them. This also goes for the fact they can ALSO feel what directly happens to the outside of the orb. So, they don’t feel like they are just INSIDE of the orb, which generally feels slimy, but not in the same sense as Mal or Swalot, but also the fleshy/tight/scaly pressure of the divots of the skin around the orb, or when Spiritomb takes them out of their divots.

He can take out these orbs and put them back in, whenever he wants.

Despite not having wings, he can fly with the use of Ghost Magic.

Although he is a dragon species, it has been documented that this dragon likes cigars. Sometimes, it has been rumored that if you offer him a rare cigar or something interesting, he will spare your soul. However, this is a very rare thing, and although he will not often bring it up, he will almost never tell a victim that the option is on the table, he will sarcastically ask you what you have to offer, if you bring it up. But make sure you have something that you are at last 95 percent sure that he would like.

Do note that although this man/dragon is extremely dangerous to barter with, he is way safer to do so than doing it with Walker, despite how likely Walker is to suggest it himself. (Walker is a cheater and a liar, even if you win, he will still eat you).  

Name: Human Swalot

Dragon specie type: Grotesque

Appearance mix: Well, although he does have the… description of stuff that he shares with his original form, (or my headcannon), and his human form/counterpart, he is more dragon than some of the other dragons, but you can definitely see how he is the human Swalot when you are told who he is.

Specific appearance: This, this dragon...

This dragon is one of the most both visibly and nonvisably disgusting and grotesque dragon i have come across. 

He is sweaty, he is slimy, (I don't even need to come in contact with him to be able to tell), he is bloated, he is stinky, he is gassy, he is belchy. 

He has a lot of fat folds on his neck, and boils filled with green bile. 

I have even seen him actually store victims or things in between each sweaty, nauseous fat folds, and it is clear that even if you aren’t killed by the heavy weight, you would be killed or knocked unconscious by the stink/stench… 

I can only imagine how bad it would smell when you are pressed up into his body, when i could smell him coming from what i estimated, judging by the extensive amount of time between the scent and the actual moment i laid my eyes upon him, at least a half of a mile, if not a mile, away.

My eyes were watering 30 seconds before he came into view from the trees. 

Similarly to Lickilicki, he has a similar belly pattern, except for the fact that the pattern is reversed. The thick parts are dragon scales, the thin parts are “skin”.

The closest, and least disturbing way that i could describe this to my readers and fellow biologists, is to imagine shoving a very fat, sweaty, fleshy giant into a shell of a dragon that has at least a belly that is far too small for it, and the excess stomach fat is being shoved out from between the large belly scales. 

Breath Element: The gross sweat like toxins that he could either squeeze from the boils on his neck, (Oh god, seeing this occur was... extremely unpleasant), or regurgitate from them on the inside. Like phlegm. ICK… The stuff glows bright green when outside of the body, unlike the glowing DARK green that it seems to be while still inside of the blisters. 

I wasn't able to see what the toxins did if/when they came into contact, other than killing the person most likely, but I can logically deduce that it would have some other side effects.

Instead of BREATHING this, it is more like the act of PUKING and THROWING UP.

Personality notes on this dragon is that his personality is equally as uncomfortable as his appearance. 

He seems to be proud of his disgustingness, and he often acts like a diva. Not too exactly different than Walker, but a bit more unprofessional, and not having anything personal with anyone else to show off. 

He is just doing it to be silly, or purposefully disturbing. 

Although i have had the uncomfortableness of accidentally gaining the attention of this dragon, it was only for a few moments, as I must have had interrupted him on his way to some other place. 

I only documented the interaction because it was something i was coming to do, and i needed to be accurate. 

I was... minorly amused by his, although disturbing rendition of “Paint me like one of your French girls”, pose, but obviously replacing ‘girls’ with ‘dragons’.

I didn't think dragons, or anyone from this world, had access to movies.

Perhaps they watched the movie on TV William’s head/face? 

Other, OTHER notes: I wasn't able to fit in his tail. His tail is as thicc as he is. 

His tail, despite not being an insect/bee/wasp abdomen, could be considered one due to how round and thick it is. However, this is not a flattering and/or cute round and thick, it is GROSS and sweaty, and probably one of the stinkiest parts of him due to it being so close to his rear end.

Name: Human Slurpuff

Dragon specie type: Candy

Appearance mix: Candy, Human Slurpuff

Specific appearance: His body/head/mane is made out of candy, save for his base torso/waist, base skull, and eyeballs. (Obviously). 

His hair is made out of cotton candy, his horns are made out of tough whipped cream, his muzzle has the taste and often the consistency of ABC gum, although he can choose when it is sticky or not. 

His shoulders are made of cherry cream puffs, elbows, wrists, and ankles are made out of gumballs. His upper arms are made out of peppermint sticks. His lower arms and lower legs are made out of Twix, although multiple Twix when it comes to his legs. 

His claws are hardened Milk chocolate. 

His teeth are sharpened peppermint sticks, his tongue is a gummy lollipop. (Yes, his tongue is made out of candy). 

His thighs are giant cherries, although the stem is not there. 

His tail is melting ice cream, but it never fully melts, so he always has the tail. But he leaves behind melted vanilla ice cream behind him.

Breath element: Candy and sugar.

Other notes: He can summon any candy in existence out of his mane/hair. 

He also has the tendency of letting/forcing people to eat some of his more melty candy parts… and no, I am not using parts as an innuendo. Unless you are talking about French Kissing. (He does that sometimes). I am more referring to his tail. And when he kisses, sometimes he makes his muzzle a lot like ABC gum, to make sure he stays latched.

He is an overly sweet, but also extremely evil candy dragon. He is very young for a dragon that’s as... malevolent as he is, but despite his evilness, he sometimes runs a small candy shop. Although most of the time the candy is poisoned in some way shape or form. 

He also uses these candy sometimes as his weapons, but most commonly, his weapons of choice are Gum or Jawbreakers.

If he had a mate, the female would lay eggs that look like very hard candy gumdrops.

Other notes x2: Being around him for too long, I wonder, could possibly give one diabetes.

(This, so far, is my least fave design of all of my Smaugust dragons. I think it started downhill with the head, as i was attempting to do the same thing i have done with some of the other dragons, where i just take their front view, and then stretch their jaws out forwards, so if you look at them from the front view, and erase their dragon accessories, you’ll get the same silhuette of their typical face shape. If you look at them profile view, you’ll see that they have a muzzle. In Romeo’s case, it DID NOT look good, but i was insistent on keeping his face shape closer to his typical shape... so... my stubbornness might have gotten the best of me here.)

Name: Romeo

Dragon specie type: Bee/Wasp Memory destroyer

Appearance mix: Bee/Wasp, Human, Butler

Specific appearance mix: As four arms on his human torso, he has a pair of mostly insectoid limbs on his waist line, and where his human legs would be, would be his “human” legs, but looks like it is made out of insectoid segments. (This is one of my favorite aspects of his design right now).

He has a bee/wasp abdomen, which, in the traditional picture of his dragon form, not really good in quality, but the design is there. It is a mix of a bee/wasp hive, and the typical bee/wasp. 

He still has his chemical libraries, which are placed above his four wrists, (Two of which i didn't implement in fear it would cover/block his wings), and on top of the transition between abdomen and waistline.

Breath element: Well, I am sure that his spit could be that of whatever chemical compounds that he could turn make with his chemical libraries, but I don’t think he would be BREATHING it. That would be more like Swalot, which is the only one that I specifically designed to be absolutely intentionally disgusting. Romeo is too…. Professional and Butlerlike for that.

Other notes: He still has his memory modeling abilities, and he is my least liked design when it comes to his head/face. I aimed to make his head/face look similar to his human counterpart design, as I successfully did with several of my OTHER dragon designs, but this one, wasn’t quite what I was looking for. 

I gave him the insect mandibles, I gave him four eyes, one more insect like, and the other resembling his more human ones, although I think they look more femanine than they should on his dragon face. His horns, which I do like, look more like ant/bee/wasp antenna.

He still has the tendency to turn people he really likes into grubs, grubs that eventually turn into other insect inspired dragons. Well, in THIS case, insectoid dragons, in his base form, it would be insectoid humans. If he does this process with someone he doesn’t like, it turns them into more royal honey, which is the substance that he surrounds said victim with to transform them into either. Once transformed and during the transformation, he stores the victim in one of the many hive cells in his abdomen, just like he would do in his boss form, which is shown in my big crossover project based off of the Resident Evil Franchise.

Explorer notes: He also has a tendency to accidentally give himself away, or at least signalize where he has been, or made his most recent home/territory. 

He makes several bee hives, or wasp hives, depending on your view on what he is mostly based off of, and it is said that despite all of the rather large hive like structures he has made in several locations around the map, there is ONE singular MOTHER hive that is the size of a ginormous manor, hidden somewhere very protected, and isnt marked anywhere on any map.

Anyone who has went out in search for it, has never came back. Or at least as they were.

I am still wondering if my insect dragon companion could have been Markus, one of my fellow explorers and data gatherers who was sent by our boss to search for the manor.

Name: Gir and Farig

Dragon specie type: Dual Cursed Dragon

Appearance mix: The original Girafarig pokemon, the Human Gir and Farig, a double headed dragon.

Specific appearance mix: This dragon has two heads, but it also has two torsos. Unlike most double headed dragons, this dragon is built more like CatDog from the Nickelodeon show of the same name. Basically, they don’t have legs, but they do have arms 

They used to have legs, but they are cursed to be joined together at the waistline, by something that resembles a single circlet of the RAF. 

On one side of the dragon, is Gir, a female, horselike dragon with a rounded face, fluffier mane, rounder nose, horselike neck and the pale yellow and pink color scheme. 

On the other side is Farig, a dark EVIL entity, masculine/male, stronger arms, sharper claws, sharper face, black/dark in color. His face has a more sharp shape, although it is somewhat built like a mix between his “human” face and a Bowser-esque muzzle.

Explorer’s notes

I have recently come into the territory of the dragon scientifically known as the Dual Cursed Dragon, and it was quite a sight to behold, even from behind my clever hiding spot of a camouflage suit and ghostly illusion spores.

Its hulking duality of what looks to be good and evil, light and dark, is very potent. One side being a female dragon with horselike proportions and a rounder face. Her colors are pale yellow, white, and pink. Her horns are deer antlers that look very soft to the touch.

Its other half is clearly dark, and evil in appearance. It is clearly that of a male, as the muscles in its arms, torso, and the rest of its body build gives off every evidence of its male gender. Its face is mostly built with sharper angles than the other, and its scales or skin is dark grey.

Its mane is very close to hair, and in a hairstyle that resembles that of an olden day royal, kind of like a flat mullet that isnt stereotyped with the nerds and chumps of modern day high school, but one of a more respective intellect or scholar.

His eyes are terrifying, and even when he simply glanced in my direction, I could feel his malice and evilness from where I stood. Sometimes I felt like he could sense my presence, but was just letting me think that he couldn’t see or detect me.

I didn’t risk making any noise in trying to escape, or test my assumption, allowing myself to think that at least that he was allowing me to take notes on his ginormous form.

One of the most interesting features of this dragon is that these two entities were not connected to a single torso or shoulder blade, but rather by their waistlines. Similar to that of a childish children’s show called CatDog, neither of them had legs.

Their waistlines were connected via what looked like a giant circlet of ancient metal with glowing blue runes carved into it. Often, at random angles, I could faintly see what looked to be glowing purple chain like bursts of energy pulse out and wrap around both dragons. This usually happened when the darker one tried to forcefully pull himself away from his other half, trying to separate himself from her.

It is clear that neither of these two get along very much, as it is clear that the dark one likes to mess and torment his other half, from villainously flirting with his female cohort, to which of course she doesn’t reciprocate, to mauling, to even using his extremely sharp claws on her like a scratching post. It took a lot in me to not intervene and try to protect the female dragon, even though it is obvious that I am unable to relieve the two of their curse.

It is also clear that the male dragon he is only doing the flirting part to mess with her, as it is obvious that there are only extremely rare individuals that the dark one loves, or likes on a minor level, other than himself.

One thing I have especially noticed is that the female has stumps as if she had once wings coming out from atop her shoulder blades. However, I can tell, that due to the shapes of the scars and the shapes of the claws on Farig’s talons, that Farig had torn them off of her himself.

I can only guess his reasonings, could range from jealousy of lacking wings himself, or the possible annoyance of being dragged underneath/behind her as she flew from place to place. Due to his evil and dark personality, I am guessing it is the former.

An interesting thing to note, is that when he/she/they interact with the other dragons that are known to be related to the human pokemon of (Human Pokemon AU dimension title), the other human pokemon dragons act as if they know Farig very well, and perhaps once they were subordinates to the dark dragon.

This suggests to me that the two dragons were not originally one entity, and that the dark one, whom I have often heard being addressed as Farig, once had a much bigger and much more intimidating form. A form that they feared much more than the one he is in now.

I have often observed Farig try to give orders to some of the other human pokemon, most often towards the Grotesque dragon known as Swalot, which 80 times out of 100, does he even at least ponder whether or not to listen.

Most of the requests, orders, or “commands” as Farig calls them, suggesting that he possibly was some kind of cult leader or something similar, or was the entity that they had worshipped, included things that Swalot already did/does on his own.

This suggests that Swalot is ignoring him not because of the contents OF the order itself, but he just doesn’t like it when Farig tries to be his boss and tell him WHEN to do it and who specifically to go after.

Farig’s temper tantrum and anger issues is very terrifying to say the least. I had to use that time to get away and escape,  as I realized that if I had stayed longer, that the winds and the vibrations would have quickly dislodged the minor amount of ghost illusion spores that remined on my body from the hours of studying and observing that I had done of the two.

Breath element: Gir will breath pink fairy magic, and Farig will breathe that gross black stuff that his final boss form has in his insectoid abdomen. This stuff will still have the mutant making ability, or giving them the Gigantimax/Dynamax forms if they are dragons based off of a human Pokemon.

Other notes: They were originally two separate entities/species/dragons, but their origin story is the same exact as their “human pokemon” design, so I don’t think I need to rewrite it.

Name: “Fritz Gabriel”

Dragon specie type:

Appearance mix: Fritz Gabriel’s human form, dragon, and his creature form

Specific appearance mix: He has a very long body similar to that of a salamander, but has multiple round pudgy legs to that of a mud wallower. (Just a random dragon specie name that i came up with to... immerse this document with terms from this AU).

His rubbery lower body is covered with a disgusting slime that he leaves behind him on walls, and other things that he passes by.

Despite this disgustingness, and how bad it smells, if one tastes it, (I did only on accident, not an intentional thing, I tripped on a small pebble on the ground and faceplanted into a good sized glob), it tastes kind of like a strawberry compote, or something you’d put onto ice cream.

Do note, that despite the taste, this comes from a much less comfortable source than one would think, even worse so than just being slime covering a body that looks like a semi transparent salamander.

Although most of the time, his salamander body isnt see through, often when he is messing with victims and/or prey, his salamander body becomes semi transparent, and I can see what appears to be his inner organs from outside of his skin. 

A lot of weird organs that seem to contain different and mysterious unknown chemicals are scattered around the inside of his/its body, and they lead to holes that are scattered around the outside film of his body. 

At first, I thought this was… ‘breathing’ holes, or something similar to gills, but this was debunked to be something much more complex, and far worse than what I thought it was.

Its upper body is one of the most human looking dragons I have encountered, without being entirely human himself. He has the arms and hands of a human, although his chest has his ribs very visible, and they are oddly shaped for that of a typical human’s.

His belly is rather pudgy.

His head is a mix of what I would like to say a human, a plague doctor or bird, and a dragon. His nose is large and very pointy, and I could imagine it could be a very good weapon if he needed to headbutt or use it like a knife to defend or attack prey or victims.

He has large buck teeth that extends past his upper lip.

His hair is a dirty ginger color, and otherwise, is oddly overly human for a dragon that isnt fully just a human/other specie dragon.

Breathes: He doesn’t seem to breathe anything, but instead he makes up for it with the slime that coats his gummy textured salamander body.

Other notes:  I discovered that the particular slime that I had accidentally ingested and the holes in the outer layer of his skin, as well as the mysterious organs that I see in his body, have something to do with each other.

In finding this out I kinda got a good seat of seeing what he often does with his victims.

He traps victims into similarly transparent cocoons that are thrown out of these holes, and he then goes into a semi-conscious state similar to that of hibernation, but much shorter.

During this process, the victim inside of these cocoons are turned into what look like, and apparently, according to the creature himself, taste like different kinds of dessert condiments, such as blueberry sauce, strawberry sauce, and other such things. 

However, this isnt just random puddles of goo, the humans remain alive, and sentient, and conscious of their transformation and ending condition, as well as retain their humanoid shape.

I’ve had the short displeasure of having a slight embarrassing conversation with the creature as I was trying to escape the cave, I managed to cause some small landslides between him and I, without blocking my intended exit, and in doing so, managed to ask him some minor questions.

He seemed to be strangely compliant and happy to answer most of my questions, but the question that I normally ask when encountering such a sentient and intelligent individual/creature, seemed to even confuse the creature himself.

He said that even he doesn’t quite know exactly what his name is, but he said that the name that he uses, as well as his fellow dragons use when referring to him, is Fritz Gabriel.
