🖤Bathoryn Vampire Family pt. 1🖤
Angelique (The Mother) made herself an enemy and drank his blood to death 💀
The poor fella (island local) named by the random generator as Lawrence wandered to Bathoryn’s vampire castle unknowingly of what he‘s getting himself into.
First, Aria discovered him and cast a hallucination vampire spell on him and he talked to himself for hours. Then, she got rid of her thirst using his mortal body, but drank only a small amount, so he got away with the minor exhaustion. However, he wasn’t smart enough to run away from this vampire lair after that and finally, the mother of the house found him. As an inherently evil person, she takes pleasure in people’s suffering and one of her dreams was to get herself a real enemy.
She started mocking him for his mortality and made a whole big speech, only with a purpose of getting him angry and devastated. After that was achieved, they got in a fight! Angelique fought with her vampiric strength but Lawrence was so enraged he won the fight. To Angelique, it didn’t matter because she is an immortal who will heal from anything except sun rays. What she truly desired was to feed of his frustration and anger. After the fight, she officially declared him her enemy, and her little wish came true!
Now, there was only one thing to do to make this day even better — drink his blood. She forcefully bit him in the neck and drank deeply until poor Lawrence passed out. Soon after, he died from exhaustion — he was an old man who simply couldn’t withstand such a blood loss.
As the grim reaper showed up, Angelique was triumphantly laughing as he took Lawrence‘s soul away and turned his body into a pile of ash. Angelique buried him in their frontyard near the entrance, next to several other tombstones. How many people did she manage to kill in her long vampire life — we will never know.
„But you will always be special to me, dear Lawrence, for you are my first enemy on this island“ — she thought. Now she can always come to look at his tombstone to lift up her spirits and remind herself of her power and inhumanity.
One of the younger vampires — poor Ambrose — was nearly not as happy as his mother. In fact, nobody else in the castle was amused by a stranger’s death, but that’s what they have to put up with, having this person as the vampiric mother. Do they want to follow her footsteps and lead a similar vampire life? They are not sure.
But Ambrose, having an artistic nature of a writer, managed to pour his sadness into writing a whole book in just 2 days. „Bloodlust“ — a melancholic thriller exploring the fate of a clumsy and gullible merman who found himself swimming in the wrong pond out of curiosity, which eventually lead to his demise…

Let’s introduce the mermaids!
On an island next to the one of Bathoryn family, a big mermaid family lives — Mahi‘ai (of course their mermaid identity is concealed from strangers). Aurelius already met Nalani previously, she has 2 sisters — Latisha and Anita. Together with them, other 2 sisters live — Iona and Emerald, they are of the more creepy mermaid kind.
❤️Nalani — child of the islands; child of the ocean; sea witch; cheerful; alluring. Archetypes: Lover and Jester. Works in conservation at a high position — director! She is so tightly connected to her mermaid self that she prefers to sleep underwater and will turn into a mermaid from contact with water uncontrollably. 💙Latisha — child of the islands; sea witch; bookworm; neat; muser. Archetypes: Artist and Sage. Works as a singer and loves playing guitar. 🧡Anita — sea witch; „practice makes perfect“; loyal; bro; cheerful; collector. Archetypes: Caregiver and Jester. Works as a lifeguard at the beach. 💚Emerald — child of the islands; sea witch; foodie; creative; collector. Archetypes: Artist. Has fear of the dark, fear of crowded places and fear of fire. Self-employed, works at her gemology table to make beautiful jewelry that she later sells. Has a unique mermaid form in which she is fully covered in green scales. 🤍Iona — sea witch; loner; non-committal; mean; muser; dastardly. Archetypes: Artist and Sinister. Fears crowded places and fire. Unique magic abilities so far — freezing in ice. Works as a fishergirl.
