"It's on the line." Siena said, smiling at John as he searched for the garment. This life wasn't the glamorous one she had lived only a year ago as the mistress of Viscount Bridgerton.

But this life was a happy one.

Moving to stand near John, Siena turned his face and kissed him.

"I can go get it for you, though I much prefer how you look now."

Siena knew there were women that liked women, she'd never really thought about if she was one of them, Allie had been good enough to let Siena stay with her, it was better than being out on the streets, she didn't dislike Allie, and now the way she was looking at her and pushing her hair out of her face, she really was beautiful.

Siena laughed and leaned into his touch, John truly was a good man, and sometimes she wondered what exactly she'd done to deserve him.

"Such a gentleman," Sienna teased back, she wished that she could stay here with him. And shut the world out, she wouldn't have to sing unless she wanted to. And he could buy them a home and design the most beautiful garden of his career for her.

Siena topped off Prudence's glass of wine.

Siena shifted uncomfortably at the mention of her love life. The past year had altered her prospects drastically.

The only comfort, she still had her angelic voice and beauty to serve her. She'd left London, and now she was back, with little to show for her freedom.

"Women like me don't have suitors. We have patrons that keep us in finery. As of late, I don't have a patron."

Siena was usually put together, but the little sigh that left Siena when Allie kissed her was anything but put together.

And she was more than okay with that.

The second Allie's lips brushed hers and her hand came to rest at Siena's neck, Siena melted and chased after Allie's lips for more. This felt so right, and she needed more!
