Jack came over to your house shortly after you texted him he had his script in his hands "so how do you want to do this?" Said jack looking around your house his eyes landed on the plate of pancakes "sorry did I interrupt you?" Said Jack turned to face you but you just nod your head no "no I could finish this later" you said putting your pancakes in the fridge "you know they won't taste that good when there good" said jack looking at his script
"then I can just make more later" you said sitting down on a chair "or I could just take you out to a nearby restaurant so you can eat" said jack sitting down next to you "like a date?" You joked "do you want it to be a date? I'm just asking since you sound like you want it to be a date" Said jack looking at you "of course not I just like free food" you said looking at your script "I'll keep that in mind" said jack taking his phone out to text someone
"let's just get this over with" you said looking away from him "before we do, do you need help with your homework?" Said jack putting his phone away "I thought you said you didn't pay attention to the things I tweeted" you said in a confused tone "I was being sarcastic" said jack with a chuckle as you roll your eyes of course he was "let's just do this first" you said
"alright" said jack as you guys started practicing your lines together while you guys were practicing you both joked on who did it better jack is really good at playing as the villain and just plain out good at acting and that really made you nervous even if you didn't get the part you could still play as his love interest since that part was still open surprisingly "I'll see you in a few days" said jack as he left your house
But do you really think it's a good idea to play as his love interest? although you didn't mind being jack's love interest he's really attractive and has a good sense of humor you just hope nothing changes between you guys not that you guys were friends or anything at least not yet you looked at your phone and saw your friends texting you it must have been what Jack said

You and Jack went to meet up at the nearby movie theater you were excited for some reason It wasn't a date absolutely not but you were just glad he was going to forgive you although you didn't know why you wanted to win his forgiveness you weren't the type to feel bad for someone but jack was just different
You saw jack walking over to you as you smiled "hi" you said quickly slipping your phone in your pocket leaving Jasmin on seen but you were sure the conversation was still going "come on let's go in" said jack as you nodded and went over to buy the tickets "don't worry I got it" you said pulling out your wallet
"it's okay I got it" said jack taking your wallet from you and paying "such a gentleman" you teased you really didn't care that he did that "I know" said jack with a smile as the cashier gives you two tickets for the Little mermaid "I'll buy the popcorn and the drinks to make it up to you" said jack pulling out his wallet which you quickly take from him "don't worry I got it" you said smiling
You paid for the popcorn and the soda's and started walking towards the room the movie was supposed to be at you guys got inside and sat down next to each other as the movie started sometimes you guys would brush hands when grabbing some popcorn but you saw no reaction from him so you had no reaction either after all this was a friendly invitation that's all

"thanks for the movie I had a great time" you said walking by Jack's side as you guys left the movie theater "I should be thanking you after all it was your idea to come" said jack pulling out his phone to check the time it was still pretty early "so..." Said jack putting a hand in the back of his neck "you still want to grab an ice cream?" Said jack crossing his arms
"I don't understand we both want the part so why are you being so nice to me?" You asked eyeing him up and down suspiciously "well you know what they say keep your friends keep your enemies closer" said jack with a smirk he wasn't wrong "I want the part just as badly as you do but I'm not always thinking of ways to distract you like you are doing" said jack with a chuckle
"for someone like you, you do have a lot of confidence" you said with a scoff "isn't that a good thing? You should be glad that we are going up against each other after all we are both good actors but I personally think that one actor is better than the other that's all" said jack shrugging his shoulders "and what exactly do you mean by that? Are you saying that I'm not a good enough actor?" You said in disbelief "I'm not saying that I just don't think you are good for the part" said jack as you stayed silent
You wanted to think he was joking but the look on his face told you otherwise you bit your lip trying to hold back all the things you wanted to say to him but you were afraid you might regret it later he had a lot of nerve to say that to you "go fuck yourself" you said turning around and began to walk away ignoring his calls for you if he wanted to play that game you could play that game as well

You got to the restaurant five minutes early it was a nice place and Devyn was right about not being able to get a table but luckily there was one left which you were thankful for all of you guys wouldn't hear the end of Devyn you sat on the table and pulled out your phone letting them know that you are already at the restaurant which they all responded with they're almost there
"y/n?" You heard a voice right beside you since you were looking at the menu you had to look up and saw jack "what are you doing here?" You asked with a frown you could never catch a break from him no matter where you go he is always there "well right next to you with my table I ate here once a month but listen I just want to talk to you" said jack looking at you, you looked out the window to see if your friends were coming but you didn't see them
"alright fine" you said getting up "let's just make it quick I'm running for my friends" you said as jack nodded and you guys walked outside "I have been trying to reach out to you I've been texting you almost every day I see you seeing my messages I just wanted to say I'm sorry in person I know what I said was wrong and you have every right to be mad at me" said jack looking away from you
"I don't know what to say I mean I didn't expect it from you" you said in a whisper but it was loud enough for both of you guys to hear "I just hope you can talk to me when you're ready" said jack walking away "hold on jack" you said grabbing his hand and pulling him back making him stumble at this point you guys were really close to each other and your faces were just inches away "sorry" you said moving away
But you didn't expect Jack to grab your face and place a soft kiss on your lips "take that as my apology" he said with a smile as he walked away leaving you alone with your thoughts you snap out of it when you saw all your friends going towards the restaurant so you walked inside and sat down at the table not believing what just happened between you and Jack

You smiled and put your phone down as you laid on your bed of course you didn't actually do anything to your cat you were just messing around with a sigh you grab your script that they gave you, you look over the sentences when a line catches your eye "(character name) falls to their knees holding Ethan close to them "I love you Ethan" they whispered before giving him a goodbye kiss
"what the fuck" you whispered sitting up straight to see if you actually saw it correctly so apparently your character has to kiss Ethan it wouldn't be the first time you guys kissed you looked at your phone when you heard it buzzing thinking it came from the group chat you thought nothing of it and picked it up only it wasn't from the group chat
You saw jack spamming you with text messages saying how sorry he was and how he wanted to meet up with you so he can apologize properly you didn't know what to say back to him but you figured you should hear him out on what he has to say so you texted him back although you were a bit hesitant to respond to him
You still weren't sure if this was a good idea but you might as well give it a shot since you were curious on what he had to say so you got off your bed and started to get ready for some reason you just haven't been feeling well maybe it was all for the stress you've been having and the whole acting shit going on
"I'll be back Skittles" you told your white cat who was busy playing with the toys you got her "god I hope I don't regret this" you thought to yourself as you opened the door and walked out you made it the part three minutes early looking side to side if you would see jack and looking back to your phone to see if he texted you "hey" said jack standing next to you "hi" you said looking at him
"I got you these" said jack handing you a box of your favorite chocolates "thank you" you said taking them from him "I didn't mean to hurt you y/n I like you a lot ever since that kiss I just didn't know how to tell you and now that I got the part..." Said jack but you cut him off "it's fine it's just a stupid part" you said with a small smile "you really think so?" Said jack surprise "yes" you said moving closer to him as he does the same the kiss was your way of telling him you forgive him even though there was nothing to forgive

You quickly got ready and went out the door devyn was taking care of Skittles for you since she loved pets and she had no problem doing it you walked closer to the part seeing it surprisingly empty actually it wasn't a surprise at all fourth of July was coming and everyone was busy buying stuff for their family and friends
You might spend fourth of July with Melissa and the others but probably not since they will be spending it with their families you saw jack sitting on a bench looking left and right to see if he could spot you "hey" you said walking over to him he turned around to face you since you came from behind him "hey" said jack standing up like you startled him "what did you want to talk about?" You asked walking over to him
"I saw your text before Julie texted you about the kiss" said jack pausing this could end really good or really bad "what about it?" You asked moving aside a bit "you asked if it meant something me... And it did I just didn't know how to tell you that it did and when I was going to tell you how I felt about you I saw what my friend Julie said to you and I knew I had to talk to you so you didn't get the wrong idea" said jack moving closer to you
You didn't know what to say next "so does this mean you did like the kiss?" You said making jack chuckle "if I didn't you really think I would come all this way to tell you that?" Said jack holding your face with both of his hands "maybe" you said looking up at him but all jack did was smile and close the distance between you guys as your lips met each other once more
Who knows maybe you did like him and maybe he did like you back but for some reason you guys just couldn't tell each other the feelings you guys had for each other not because you guys didn't want to it was because you guys were really busy with the whole acting but when you guys are finished with the scream movie perhaps you guys can finally confess
