I would be so happy for the three of them! Royai plus their faithful furry son = royaite.

Roy is lying half-awake in bed, looking slightly groggy and with a bit of stubble, sandwiched between Riza and Black Hayate. On his left, Riza clings to him, head pressed by his heart and her hand across his chest. On the other side, right against the side of Roy's head, Hayate is sprawled across the pillows with his legs in the air and his tongue lolling out.

A textbox reading "Happiest he's ever been in his entire life" points to Roy, a sentiment supported by the small pink hearts by his head.

He's never allowed to move again. Trapped forever. Legend has it he's still in bed with his wife and dog to this day.
