Rooisand Lodge is situated on the fringe of the Namib Desert in central Namibia, halfway between Windhoek and Walvis Bay at the Atlantic Ocean. Just about 20 kilometers straight line from Rooisand, is the famous Gamsberg – Namibia’s Table Mountain. From Windhoek, the distance to Rooisand is about 170 kilometers. Rooisand is reachable with small airplanes as well.

Die Rooisand Lodge liegt am Rande der Namib-Wüste in Zentral-Namibia, auf halber Strecke zwischen Windhoek und Walvis Bay am Atlantik. Nur etwa 20 Kilometer von Rooisand entfernt liegt der berühmte Gamsberg - Namibias Tafelberg. Von Windhoek beträgt die Entfernung nach Rooisand etwa 170 Kilometer. Rooisand ist auch mit kleinen Flugzeugen erreichbar.
