Redacted Headcanons - Tumblr Posts
Does anyone else just ever want to make a redacted oc that just throws a wrench in the timeline and how things function? The amount of characters ideas stored in my brain that do not match up with the logic of the redactedverse or the relationships between certain characters are some of my best thought out ones-
(They are mostly for angst purposes but-)

As much as I love these characters, I would really like to transition to focusing on the vampires now, specifically the Solaires (duh lol). There's so much potential for new characters. Dimitri Rebane, more Porter audios, mayyyyybe William audios (👀), who knows!!! (Please read below!!!!! I have so many ideas and need to dump them somewhere) (⚠️pun not intended⚠️).
People may not agree with me on that, but hear me out! Vincent and Sam left the house of Solaires, so we could get audios here and there about where they (and their relationships) end up. Since the wedding is done and David stated that during the summit, someone from the house of Wright told him to stay away from the Solaires, that would give more of a reason to have dispersed audios for Vincent and Sam and to include new characters. They've been around for a long while now, and the werewolf culture is hashed out, so I feel that there isn't much else to do with them.
Here are some arcs that I think would be cool to enter:
1) Although we know about werewolf culture, we only know a little about vampire culture and their politics. I would absolutely LOVE to see how that comes to play in Porter and Treasure's relationship (*Important note*: During the summit, when it was pointed out by the Prince of the house of Bennet that Vince killed someone, Porter was Q.U.I.C.K to defend him by saying that Adam violated the bite/claim marking). It seems that Porter is very protective of Treasure and values the relationship with them, so I think there's opportunity to hash out Vamp culture/politics through that. Ex: Someone has an eye out for Treasure, Porter freaks out but they don't know why, then we get an explanation. Idk why, but it's interesting to me that Porter covered for Vince that quick, and for *that* reason. Of course that could be explained away bc he literally killed a King and was in charge of creating an alibi, but it felt like foreshadowing to me. At some point Treasure is going to have to be informed that their man's a hitman, and maybe it's the toxicity in me but I think Porter being quick to unalive someone for violating that bite claim could be an entry way into that conversation.
1.5) If we get Will as an official character (listener wise), then we can see how his and Porter's...uhhh...relationship. When we were introduced to Porter, he was very adamant (again, no pun intended) that Treasure's friends were not good people and went into a tangent about transactional relationships. I fully feel like this was a projection of his and Will's friendship. To support my point, the next audio was him contemplating the validity and ethics of the friendship. He even questioned if he was scared of Will. It would be great to see this explored further by more vamp politics videos. In my recent post about Porter, I wondered whether Will is going to manipulate Porter into becoming next in line for succession. Alexis is trash, Vincent is gone...so who's left???
2) Speaking of monarchies and successions, I know the fooliverse audios are not supposed to be taken as canon, but it's interesting that Erik brought up a whole new character for Milo's audio. Dimitri Rebane. Like...we get a first AND last name??? For a non-canon arc??? 🤨 We didn't even get Asher's last name until what? Almost a year ago? Erik seems very organized and well thought out, so even though the fooliverse arc itself isn't canon, the characters sure are. AND Mr. Rebane is a KING??? How come he wasn't brought up in the summit??? Hmmm.....🤔 Wouldn't it be crazy if he does become a canon character and ends up murdering Will and taking over the Solaire clan? Maybe he messes up the friendship with Porter to no return (maybe by messing with Treasure somehow) and Porter helps Dimitri become king because he's better, and he won't have to take up more responsibility than he could handle.
3) I get it, some people may prefer werewolves to vampires. But I think everyone forgot that THERE'S A WHOLE ASS WEREWOLF PACK THAT HAS NOT BEEN COVERED YET‼️‼️‼️We have the Keaton pack, but does anyone remember during one of Erik's channel anniversary streams where he did a kahoot-style game and alluded to the Moore pack (no, not Lasko lol). There were four options, the Shaw pack, the Keaton pack, the Moore pack, and some other answer. The Moores was the correct one and he even gave a geographic location to them in comparison to the Shaw and Keaton packs. We dead ass could have a whole nother set of characters from a whole different pack if he didn't give them the Frederick and Bright Eyes treatment and just ignored their whole existence .
That's all the brain dump I have for now. Sorry if I fried yours in the process, but I've been thinking about the Moore (or More) pack FOR YEARS.
(Also, Monarch Baz got pissy with David for not understanding vamp politics, AND it's confirmed that some vamps are involved with the inversion and close-knit case, which is more support for my reasoning and theory that we might be headed towards a vamp arc soon). I know some people agree that Milo and Sweetheart are the token 'Morticia & Gomez Adams' couple vibes, but Porter and Treasure are the embodiment of that couple.
Treasure didn't even budge when Porter revealed himself as a vampire. Both are freaky AF. Also, "I would do anything for you" says Porter in his HBS video.
Yeah. They're DEFINITELY the actual Adams couple.

For Porter and Treasure's meet-aversary, both of them go to a local pumpkin patch where they participate in fun fall festivities.
Porter likes cheap stuff that is fun, and usually there's apple cider taste testing, corn mazes, haunted houses, hay rides, and so on at pumpkin patches.
To end the night the two of them are either in Treasure's apartment/house or at Sky Side where they play Halloween movies, eat s'mores, and enjoy carving pumpkins and putting candles inside of 'em. It's a classic fall date, but still fairly cheap and fun. Let's hope Treasure doesn't get suspicious of Porter's knife wielding skills.
I imagine the opposite ☹️ Treasure being more than willing to become a vampire, but Porter being hesitant because he knows it's dangerous. Turning isn't an easy decision to make, it's a very traumatic one. What if Treasure is attacked and is turned that way?
I have no doubt these two will end up together, but just judging on how hesitant Porter has been because he's aware there's a power imbalance, compared to Treasure who is eager to do anything.
realized i haven’t talked about porter in a while (i was gone) but i do have a tiny feeling that porter and treasure are going to be complete opposites IF it comes to treasure being turned. I think porter would see it as a thing that needed to be done if he could finally admit he loves them because since treasure’s the first person to love him in years, he doesn’t want them to simply cease to exist when they die. while vincent was preparing to lose Lovely, Porter refuses to lose Treasure ever because he’s finally found someone who wants him like he does.

Imagine that the parallel isn’t just Porter wanting Treasure to become a vampire, but also Treasure not wanting to be one, IMAGINE THE SADNESS Treasure on their deathbed and still wanting to be human and Porter doesn’t want to lose them AUGHHHHHHH IM LOVING THIS STORYLINE😭😭😭
I keep thinking of a story where Porter takes Treasure to a really fancy restaurant, and Milo ends up taking Sweetheart there to celebrate an anniversary, promotion, something.
Milo looks over and just happens to see Porter and Treasure walking in while Sweetheart is just wide-eyed and jaw-slacked. Why? Because they actually see Porter not being a dick for once lol.

I'm guessing that Porter was born around the 1950s.
When listening to his first audio and he described Treasure as demure I didn't know what that meant so I looked it up. I can't remember which website it was, but it showed the popularity of the word throughout history, and the most recent was the 2010s, but that wouldn't necessarily make sense because 1) you tend to keep the vocabulary you grown up learning and 2) Porter was around even before Vincent was turned (I'm pretty sure). He's older than Vincent, talks with older terms, and just imagine how LONG it would take for the tutors William got to teach him. He's like the Simone Biles of vampire magic. That didn't come from no where. He was unemowered before he was turned as well, so he would've needed EXTRA help.
So, the most recent timeframe in which "demure" was popular was, I believe, around the 1950s. Again, I could be wrong because I can't remember the website. But it makes sense that he would be around 70 years old.

Imagine Vincent and Treasure being on mutual terms later in their relationship with Porter.
Treasure has Vincent's phone number, "just in case" he says. Ya never know what type of emergencies can come up when an unemowered human is new to a sketchy vampire clan *cough* *cough* looks at Lovely. And on top of that, having your lover who is a hitman for a morally grey King.
After a long night of..... fun, Treasure is in a deep peaceful sleep when their phone screen turns on, signaling a text notification. Porter, assuming it's their toxic friends, picks it up to see what they could possibly want from them at the dead of night and to send a quick but assertive response, telling them to fuck of.
But oh, what's this?
Vincent!?
Why does Treasure have Vincent's phone number? Why does Vincent have his Treasure's number?? Why is that spoiled prince bothering them while they sleep? Especially after all the "fun" they had?! He knows Treasure would NEVER cheat-they just aren't the type. They've stuck around their shitty friends for long enough. Treasure is loyal. And Vincent would NEVER be the type to homewreck or step out on Lovely.
But still, Porter is jealous 🤗

Also, whoever started the head canon that Porter is Pakistani-British, then said that they won't stop until everyone accepts it---congratulations. Everytime I think of that man, that's exactly what he looks like to me. And I love it.

I bet Laskos hair is like oh so soft and fluffy so if the Listener is wearing like a short shirt where the stomach shows regardless he is gonna put his head on their stomach (with consent of course) and the listener would start giggling telling him that their stomach is ticklish and just because he wants to would shake his head to hear them laugh.
I know that everyone thinks that Darlin not talking to William with Sam is because they would deck the old man on sight, but I think that this was actually the moment they realised that they don't want to be a vampire.
Because they look around the Solaire Clan and don't see the close knit family of the Shaw Pack. They see a lonely old man with far too much power and far too grand ambitions. They see people bound together by barely unconditional kindness and the shared experiencence of having your life ruined by a vampire. They see everything they do subdued and layered behind bullshit politics. They don't see a family, but a company.
A world that wouldn't want to live in, with or without Sam.
They don't want to be a vampire.
